Whether this tip actually changed her appearance or not, it's clearly helped her to feel better about herself. She looks great, and I'm glad that she can appreciate her nose now.
@@ShadySam “People like you don’t get a girlfriend” Lol, like you know me at all 😹 people who often say that are typically the ones not getting any pussy, but what do I know.
I believe she's talking about Carole Maggio's Facercise book. The exercises really do work and that's one of her tips. She's not a plastic surgeon but I've used her stuff off and on over the years and had good results. It's hard in the beginning, but just keep practicing until you get it. Your facial muscles will fee the burn. If you look her up in her recent photos, her facial muscles are very defined, too much actually, because she does this so often with clients. But her face is her advertisement!
@Louis Kingsta Because I tried it! Years ago I bought the book and took "Before" photos. But life got hectic/busy and I put it aside for over 5 years. I finally started the program for about 8 weeks(?). I showed my friend the photo from 5 years ago and before I could tell her when it was taken, she kept marveling about ". . . how much younger you look now!" When I told her she was saying I looked younger now than I had 5 years ago, she immediately ordered the book. Besides, you can feel the muscles getting stronger.
@@whitequeen96 I mean that doesn’t seem very credible, like why not compare a photo from right before you started the facial exercises and then after the 8 weeks. Showing a photo from 5 years ago doesn’t seem right. Plus sure you could look younger but that could be due to style and fashion and how subconsciously your friend finds the style older since it was a while back and correlates it too your appearance. (For example think about thin eyebrows and how they were in a few years ago but aren’t anymore, someone could say you look older just because they aren’t used to that style anymore).
Sorry doc, I gotta agree with her on this one. I’ve done nose exercises off-and-on over the years to modify the structural appearance of my nose & my it does look different (better in my opinion…& more like I prefer it to appear). If we can work muscles like biceps, I don’t think there’s any harm in working our facial features lol. There’s also an exercise for cheekbones.
It actually works I always hated my flat nose so I just started doing and I didn’t even know it was a facial exercise I did this when I was 14 till I was 16 and now I have a pointy nose
Glad that it worked for you. But I have wide nose like wide wings so if I keep punching it up as you showed then it'll look worse. So be mindful which exercise you choose. Only try the ones that may be suitable for your circumstances
@@charged3540 yes It can, there is muscle tissue around the nose cartilage, face expressions, lip posture, mewing, or braces can get to change jaw position and balance the forces around your face.
@@charged3540No dumbaz. You can change the appearance of your nose except influencing the bone on your bridge. Thats what she forgot to add but other than that her video is on point
@@Smitekk Oh it wasn’t that bad. My body simply recognized me as the giga chad that I am and my jawline reformed into the giga chad jawline. The person I punched however, was knocked unconscious.
I think it's more confirmation bias. I did this a lot when I was younger and insecure, but when I thought I wanted certain features and looked into the mirror, it seemed like I already had them and just didn't realize I loved my appearance until I thought I wanted a change.
Confirmation bias means you’re looking for things to confirm your already held beliefs. She believed her nose was ugly so she did something to change it. That’s not confirmation bias it’s the opposite.
Yerp. I believe it. I purchased a noseright back in high school and used it allll the time for years and I still have it. Bruh it really slimed it down. If you can train the face to be slim, you can your nose. Plastic surgeons not going to tell you because it’s a money market.
I'm 15 and I have a wide nose. When I smile, it widens. I'm really insecure about it. I found many nose exercises vids on RU-vid and I'm not sure if it'll work. I don't know hat to do. So, can you give any tips or something? If those exercises don't work then I'll have to live with this big nose. I'm really not ok with nose jobs. (I'm a guy btw)
@@Fenkibbs I would get the noseright/ clipper ! They now sell different kinds of versions on Amazon cheaper too. Basically, I do see a lot of Asians use them before makeup haha but I would use it daily. Morning and night. Just look up nose slimming clip. The one I did use on Amazon which was more comfy was the nose sharper clip nose lifter! I used soo many different kinds of them lol I enjoyed the padding on that one. But ! If you don’t have the money get some oil and massage the nose. You can look that on RU-vid too.
It does work. I’ve done this in the past but it does have negatives such as if you stop doing it, it’s harder to get results the second time. And your nose is more squishy due to stretching. It’s easier when ur nose tip is larger. When it’s smaller it’s more likely to just f up your nose.
It's actually real, and it does work, but u need patience lol, instead of doing a plastic surgery which is rlly expensive u can just listen to subliminals, manifest and do the exercises, it will get u amazing results, but it needs consistency ofc. And ofc he will say it's not real, cuz his job is literally changing ppl's face features w plastic surgery if he said it did work, ppl would stop doing surgeries and start doing these exercises and he doesn't want that lol, just do whatever u want, ignore what these close minded ppl think
patience and following the instructions also reducing cholesterol in the diet ,breathing exercises are also important for such nose job to become successful.
My nose looks similar to hers too and I don’t like it I wish it was more feminine. Tbh I don’t agree with the other replies that it’s attractive and I don’t know why they’re saying that 😂 Annie is not hot y’all.
Guys...face Yoga/massage/exercises do help. Ofc as soon as you stop doing it it goes back to it's previous shape after a while. Don't understand why everyone is so skeptic when it's just logical and we all heard about muscle memory
I was doing facial exercises I found online a couple of years ago for sleep apnea. I have to say that not only did it help my SA but it tightened up my neck muscles!
Also in Peru! My Peruvian family said they would lift my nose for it can be more pretty when I was a baby since higher noses look prettier in Peru. Bruh I accidentally typed huger I meant higher noses like pointy noses that look up to the sky
@@DA-js7xz wdym shallow family members? Like bad family members? All they did is just lift my nose up from time to time and honestly my nose hasn’t changed at all from when I was a baby but it could’ve if they really wanted to make my nose look more pretty in their standards of noses but they didn’t just did it a bit and my nose never changed but some babies do if their parents always do that to their nose.
@@Im_michi Sort of reminds me of my husbands mom. When he was a baby, his mom rubbed his nose so he wouldn’t have a hump on it. I was blown away. Really? Just leave your damn baby alone. Let their features be theirs, and let the bones fuse the way they’re supposed to.
I think it might work. As a kid I bad a very small nose that my parents loved to "pinch" and turn it to my left while doing it. Well, now my nose is slightly going to the left. Unsymmetrical 🤷♀️
Facial exercises do change the shape of your face though? This seems like it's mostly manifesting but if you strengthen the muscles in your face it will make you hold your face different while resting :/ and after long enough that will shift the placement of your bones Also it seems really fitting that someone who makes all their money doing plastic surgery is like "no there's absolutely no evidence that this works" despite there being tons of people who have changed their face naturally through facial exercises
I feel like it’s also cause it’s cartilage which can be a bit changed overtime compared to other parts of the body. For example, the elastic from my mask made a dent and lowered my ears until I changed mask lol but it’s still indented
Dr. Youn! Please be careful when stating an undesired effect of certain things. As someone with a natural “piggy nose”, it’s a little bit discouraging when I hear a professional imply that a nose like mine is undesirable. I love my “piggy nose”, but I used to get bullied because of it and it took me a long time to love my nose the way it is. I love your work, and I hope you read this. Have a good day.
Omg I did eye exercises because one of my eyes was always a little shut and the other wide opened or more round and one more pulled to the side idk how to explain so weird. It became very noticeable and I hated it, I found eye exercises to open up both at the same level and they are looking more symmetrical, it def improved my confidence.
They are so strong you have people fighting saying in works but not as a placebo. I mean anything that’s in out head makes it reality so they are not wrong but also wrong lol
Well I don't know if it's placebo or not but the exercise actually has logic behind it. The chic doesn't do a good job explaining it. The reason you put your finger under your nose to do the exercise is so that it acts as a restriction for the muscles that you tense when you flare up the nostrils as that movement makes your entire nose go down. It's like you are making your nose weight lift basically. So technically it could strenghten the muscles overtime which could potentially affect the look of it.
@@bakirev You don't change the cartilage...you just work out the muscles in the area. The reason you put your finger under your nose to do the exercise is so that it acts as a restriction for the muscles that you tense when you flare up the nostrils as that movement makes your entire nose go down. It's like you are making your nose weight lift basically.
@@pollynlyubenova8365 I don't see how that would work. Working out muscles makes them stronger and bigger and probably has a small effect on the facial muscles. But it doesn't make your muscles get stuck in a flexed position. So unless you are flexing your muscles knowingly how would that work?
Sometimes doctors are obsessed with not agreeing with something that does not have a medical or scientific proof. Facial exercises actually work, I have been so insecure with my nose but I recently started some nose exercises and there is a visible change in my appearance, many people noticed it.
Well doctors are there to help us with the medical and scientific proof and also they literally have to study our bodies for years so it makes sense to disagree with stuff like this. It’s better not to give yourself false hopes with unproven stuff
@@chocolatedonut6312 but something is not agree and other thing is saying that it’s totally fake without a doubt, 100% real proofs, this doctor didn’t confirm it or saw any other proofs(he would have know since there’s plenty on the internet, so he might just assume that cause he hasn’t learned that), so this cant be a safe source, plus, its from fucking tiktok lol.I’m not saying this is a bad doc but he literally didn’t even cared that much to understand it, but still encouraging what makes you happy, he’s actually a good doctor!
I actually have the same problem as her my nose is pretty when it is at rest but when I smile the bridge goes downward and it looks weird, even my smile is actually pretty but my nose makes it ugly and it my me feel insecure about it. I am gonna try this method I hope it works
But how does that work? And for how long on a 15 times a day basis? Also, nobody thinks about what IF you stop those exercises, will it eventually wear off and return to where it was? I've seen a bunch of (usually) Korean videos on this (exercises for certain areas), check them out.
Consistent pressure obviously impacts skin and tissue. I have to use silicone nose inserts to breath and sleep better at night. Always thought my nose is too big, but apparently not. It's just the lack of symmetry I didn't appreciate. For half a day after waking up with silicone inserts, my nose is wider but more symmetrical. Nice preview if one would consider fillers to achieve symmetry.
Honestly i did this for a long time and it can change your nose slightly which makes a difference you can see but i wouldnt reccomend because it became my ocd as i got body dysmorphic disorder. Really be careful.
Reminds me of one of the meditations by Marcus Aurelius when he talks about a sculptor that could never make a sculpture perfect enough for the requestor, until he made up something (similar to this) that made him feel like there was a change, when he literally changed absolutely nothing. (Wow that was a long way to say that this is probably just a placebo effect)
No it actually helped my nose, my family normally has greek noses but i noticed I didn’t like mine at like 14 and my nose has definitely perked up a little bit
Same i used to wipe my one nostril upward and it got such an ugly line with whiteheads and now it's gone as i haven't wiped it up but my nose is uneven cz of that.
Anything you could move has muscles attached to it all you got to do is strengthen the muscles and it changes how it looks not necessarily always for the good though too much gum chewing can actually make your jaw muscles look weird
I had rhinoplasty last year. I love my new nose but it still does drop and flare when I smile. But that’s ok it is a huge improvement and I can live with it 🙂
Actually before I watched this video, I used to do this so so often to my nose, I basically walked around having my fists on my nose like that hoping it would do something, and I did this for like a month and nothing changed, don't waste ur time
Here is a warning from me that did this for a few days: doesn’t work, got a wrinkle but like a straight wrinkle. It’s been a few months and my nose hasn’t changed, the wrinkle kinda disappeared tho!😅
Listen everybody, you can make changes to your body, by doing exercises on a daily basis. I made my lips permanently plump over 2 years by pinching them, I swear people started accusing me for having fillers. 2. I made eyelid lifting permanently over 1 year of face massage and ice applied. And I am 22. Now I start seeing differences at my nose for massaging it and getting a shorter nose tip. It does work but it won't be wonders.
Well it’s cap most likely BUT I NEED THIS my nose is terribly like that and my smile does look like that and I’m insecure but I don’t want plastic surgery idk what to do reply with tips pls?!
Idk man, im not saying that these exercises are going to work but people also say mewing is bull and doesn't have evidence. I know that the nose is not a muscle but cartilage, still i think there is some way to reshapen it through movement and exercise.(not the exercise she mentions tho, thats just not enough to change anything)
Plus i would trust a plastic surgeon to say: you can become pretty without surgery, you dont need to come to me and pay thousands of dollars🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
I actually have pics of my nose without filter from last year and one now and it completely changed not only I don’t see the hump but it’s also slightly less big and it makes me happy I do facial exercises and massages everyday 10 mins morning and 10min at night … my mom hasn’t seen me in 3 years only when we FaceTime and she noticed that I just wonder what her reaction will be this summer when I go back to my country.. but yes I do believe it works
Hi Dr.youn how are you ? Been watching ur vedios and subscribed for quite long years .I want to ask if the Vline injection lipolysis for jaw line fats can be possibly injected on your fatty big tip nose ? It’s not a cartilage deformation but it s rounded fat covering the tip of the nose
it might be a false tip but as a child this is basically what i did to rub my nose and it became a habit to the point where my nose is now upturned and theres a permanent crease where the skin was bunched up lol

It reminds me of some of the craziness that goes on in Japan.

I would push the tip of my nose up thru high-school, n yes it changed the shape. It does work. I gotta cute Lil line from where it creased while holding it so much, prbly like an hr a day for a year or 2, but now my nose is a slope instead of completely straight 🤷♀️ I'm 31, haven't done it in 13-15yrs, but my nose is still sloped
So my dad has a straight nose and my mom has a downturned nose and I was so afraid of having a nose like hers my whole life so I would hold my nose up ALL the time throughout my whole life, it really became one of my stims why I was doing homework or focusing on something. And I really have an upturned nose and I'm the only one in my immediate family. Maybe it's just a coincidence but idk 🤷♀️ I also have elastic skin with ehlers danlos so maybe it's legit? Idk
My grandmother would always do this to our noses and pinch them to be slimmer. Idk if it works, but she did it to me the most and i have the slimmest nose of all my cousins
I have a very large nose and was doing this for a long time to the point where I had to consciously break the habit of doing it. The results are slight but it definitely does change your nose slightly. I think the lack of evidence is based on a lack of research. It’s like how if you wear glasses for a long time you end up with those little marks on your nose.
Ignore that mf lol, PLEASE SEARCH REAL RESULTS! you cannot say no when you see them, that dude just probably thought that bcs of a random doc saying it its true, it doesn’t mean its a bad doctor, but I doubt he has experience with this, but you gotta be gentle and patient, dont let people discourage you.
There aren't many people who feel comfortable talking the way this girl does. I hate to say it, but privileged is one of the words I would use. She's already blessed with good looks, so it's hard for many to get behind what she's going on about. Don't obsess about your looks. Nobody cares what you look like. Your happiness in yourself is NOW not WHEN. xo
Uhm, so you think that a person you find attractive cannot be insecure? And why do you think she’s privileged? That doesn’t make her NOT insecure anyway, and its the FACT that she’s trying to help others AND SHE EVEN ADDED A DISCLAIMER, please don’t assume things…like, trust me, saying that you are beautiful and you shouldn’t care about your looks doesn’t kill insecurities, it even worsens sometimes…
Tbh, if you do this every day for like a year, I’m sure there will be a little bit of a difference. And even if there isn’t one, the fact that you feel like there is actually matters the most because it affects your confidence and happiness and makes you happy with yourself without surgery
I'm not sure the science behind this but I found a way to use my face muscles to make my nose appear thinner and over time my nose actually did get thinner
I wanted to lift my nose only! I gave my all till the nose tape! I was walking in the yard for 2 hours with lifting my nose lol!! 😢 and there is no result without one wrinkle! This droopy nose ruins my beauty! Please help me!
Omg..I used to do this lifting my nose with my finger when I was may be 13. I thought it might work. It just caused a line on top of my nose. Luckily went away but I used to it a lot, still doing it as a habit. I am 42 now. It does not change with that. She tricks herself. Also nose is growing. It would not help it's growing.
This helps a nose that is dropped over like a witch, but like he said, it will get rid of that curve where it’s drooping but it’ll make ur noise bigger and lil fatter
