For Manipulating Quadratic and Exponential Expressions 5:00 , where does the 1 come from? when I foil down I get x(squared)+2x-24. I get what you did on how to solve it from the answer, but why don't we include 2x in the problem?
was starting to think that I would never be able to learn all of the math problems but watching these vids will definitely help a ton, I just had to re-learn most concepts
SAT in a few weeks and I literally have no faith in myself in doing well at this point... I've been practicing and studying for months and my math score on the practice tests only seems to be either getting worse or is stuck at the same point Sigh
amazing video, i love it, thank you. I’ll take the SAT the 6 May and I am so strong and motivated. My question is, what is the background music called?? I love it also, thank you 🙏🏼
4:20 question I picked B as an answer but I confused why we looking for the vertex form specifically. Is B is connected with the equation and why it should be in vertex form?
the SAT is tomorrow I hate math and I have literally cried all night cause I know this isn't gonna go well hopefully this helps cause I am so unprepared on my god.
Your videos are really helpful! The way you explain each type of question in detail, but keep it so easy at the same time is remarkable!! Thanks alot ❤️❤️❤️
Lately I've been scoring 480-510 on the math portions, it just keep on going back in forth between those two scores, how do I improve my score by like 100+ points before August 28th?
I recommend using all available resources for studying. Try working through all ten practice tests on the College Board website. Go over the questions that you miss until you understand why you missed them. I will be hosting live Q&As on my discord channel in August, so stop by and ask any questions you have regarding the practice tests.
Hey in your next videos I don't really have good hearing I was really struggling to hear you over the music can you maybe lower the music in the background.
I dont understand the concept of constants. I always get flustered there. What is a constant and what role does it play in an equation? And how is it different from a regular variable like x, y, a, ,b,c, etc.? How do you treat a constant? Are there different laws for it?
Hey! I have a question. at 13:37, u said that the line's slope is -1. Isn't it supposed to be -1/2 since u are jumping 2 boxes and not just 1. plzzzz reply !!! ty
I have a question about the last tip, tip number 14. Would it be safe to assume that whatever the number given by the equation is what the answer should be? Like how 3x-y=12, and then you have a 2 to the 12th power there. So are all the questions like this, or was this more so a coincidence with how it worked out? Wanting to know so I can prep for that myself so if I see if I won't lag behind on that question if it's on my SAT.
Okay I don’t know what’s wrong with me because I’m really struggling even when I sit and watch you do the questions I try to go back and practice on my own and it doesn’t work out and then a new type of questions shows up and literally confused and sat is in 56 days and I’m freaking out. Can you help me please like is there some type of schedule or routine I just need help?
Hey! I have a question. How do you figure out whether if you have to use vertex form or quadratic equation like question 28. Do you always have to use vertex form when it says "minimum" ?
Hah so I got into a funny predicament...my test isn't until September but my dad is making me be ready by Friday 28th which is like not fair so i am cramming in two days :(
I have got a very big problem that is I study and study then I forget what I studied 😒😒 especially when it comes to maths I forget literally all formulas at times I can't even identify what kinda equation it is I really don't know how to help myself not to forget the stuff I studied because it's getting out of hand I wrote GED maths 2times and got 144 instead of 145 that sucks so bad I really feel bad because my mom has to pay now for SAT when I study and forget I need tips
I totally understand, and you're not alone in this. Lot's of students have trouble remembering these topics. The best suggestion I can offer is practice like crazy. If you're taking the test in August, and you feel you are having trouble remembering things, I would devote 3 hours a day minimum over the summer. See how that works for a few weeks. Also keep using free resources on RU-vid to learn the material.
Keep practicing and using all available resources! Remember to read the question several times so you have a full understanding of what they are asking for.
I'm slightly confused on number 28 (it is around the 4:30 mark) and was wondering if you, or someone else, could clear it up for me a bit...Basically, when you foil (x+6)(x-4) you get f(x)=x^2 + 2x -24, which is answer B, so wouldn't that make B an equivalent form of f(x)= (x+6)(x-4) ? I understand how D is the correct answer, but I don't really understand why B is incorrect? Is it simply because it is written in the intercept form and not vertex form? If so, for questions on the SAT like this, does one have to stay within the original form given? Sorry for all the questions and I really hope this makes sense :)
