I love the fact that you talk about how rewarding it is to grow your own mushrooms. I also like how you talk about how they are a medicine. I am a cultivator myself and I love I am able to grow my own, and I know how they were handled and cared for. Thanks for the info, this was a good video. I have grown BRF cakes for a while and I just started my first mono-tub 3 weeks ago.
The flies here get me sick. You can't even open your door without 10 of them making it in the door before you. Pour pinesol all over outside, it helps a lil. They don't like the smell. I bought a fogger machine for this year. I'm hitting my whole property up.
There’s an old country store here in Tallahassee (Bradley’s) that has a meat area in the back. They keep the flies out like this: they take a clear plastic bag fill it with a water/vinegar solution and drop two pennies in it. They tie the top of the bag with a string and hang it in front of the door. For some reason, the flies don’t try to come in the door although it’s constantly being opened. Someone who works there told me when I asked about it that the two coins look like huge spider’s eyes to the flies so they avoid the area. Not sure if that part is true or not but it keeps the flies out of that store. Hope this helps!
