@@1세대의전설 update: after i posted that comment i replaced the screen like two days later. The old protector cracked when i was trying to reapply it for the 2nd time 💀
How to fit a screen protector: 1. Clean your phone's screen with the equipment provided 2. Align screen protector over your phone's screen 3. Remove any air bubbles by ripping the screen protector off the phone scrunching it up and THROW IT AT THE WALL! 4. Start drinking
I had a small bubble on the top right corner of my new glass screen protector. I was extremely skeptical of using vegetable oil but it actually worked. I used a piece of paper towel and dabbed it in the vegetable oil then pressed it on the outter edge near the bubble and it fixed the issue.
Hey! So I have a pretty large bubble at the top left and I have lifted it up and it won’t come out… I am to scared to take it off lol. Any suggestions?
the reason why you get more airbubbles trying to readjust it again is due to more dirt going on the sticky part, making the surface more uneven, which is why it introduces more air bubbles. so if you can't get it right the first try, give up and throw it away. just like me 💀
the damned employee at the phone store couldnt figure out how to put it herself so she did what she could and now there are a dozen bubbles on it. shes awful at it and should be given proper training lol
Omg this actually workedddd. I didn’t remove mine all the way tho and I used a credit card to swipe vertically down the phone to make sure any new air bubbles got pressed out
I put a new screen protector on and there were like 6 tiny bubbles and I was so mad because I thought I ruined it but by the next day they had all disappeared 😱 I came to get the answer as to how it could've done that on its own, did they slowly travel across and out the side???
ok !!! the oil method worked not just with the corner bubbles but with the ones in the middle of the screen as well but it wouldn't work with a card i had to scratch the bubbles with my fingernails some as long as for 10 minutes but it did the trick thanks!
There is a little scratch on my screen protector that my cat did and air bubble keeps forming up there and no matter what I do it won’t go away? Is there a way to fix this or do I have to replace the screen protector?
If its under the screen protector and the scratches happened before it got put on, there isnt much u can do inless you get a new phone. I had taken my sceeen protector off and go in raw no protection in my pocket for a day or 2, and the pocket lint and sand scratched my phone abit and never again would a sceeen protector stay without air bubbles from the scratches in my glass of the phone
There are many small air bubbles on my screen protector. This is because I had to remove a small piece of hair... Now there air bubbles aren't leaving, what should I do?
Mine was slightly inside the edge maybe a millimeter in and a couple millimeters wide, spanning an inch along the length. I was skeptical but the oil trick worked like magic, I think even though it was a line-shaped bubble it ejected any particles stuck to the adhesive surface of the protector.
For someone wondering if the oil thing works, IT FRICKEN WORKS LIKE A CHARM. I had a kind of halo around the protector, the oil method worked perfectly and now my protector is perfect.
I have a few specks of dust and I’m not really annoyed by them but there’s this big one on the top left corner that’s really getting on my nerves and I’m trying to get rid of it
My husband was a textile graduate and he said paper towels have tiny metal fiber type objects in them to give them strength and will scratch your glasses if you're cleaning them so it may do the same to the screen protector I don't know. I haven't done it to know whether it scratches or not but beware.
I have a screen protector on my galaxy z flip 3 so there's this giant air bubble in the middle and it's not possible to remove it cuz that's where the hinge is :(
Lmao I literally just replaced mine. The Super Shieldz brand on Amazon is good it has a lifetime warranty and even if there are bubbles they'll be gone 1 day after installation 🤯
for me, i m just using tonight a credit/debit card, worked, no more bubbles. (ONN glass screen protector) cheap too,and it worked, no more bubbles, even without oil. good night. adios.
The huge bubble disappeared after oil was applied... After lots and lots of pressing still got a small bubble. Looks better though. So oil helps. It seemed like the oil went under the screen protector into the bubble and disappated the air. All the oil on the edge of the screen protector vanished. So maybe it is under it. Not good if oil is trapped there as it could wreck the phone screen? Fix one problem and get another one. Next time ask a professional screen repairer to apply it. They do it in 30 seconds. For amateurs ends up one hour. Or not done at all. Two are supplied because it is known the first try could be a failure...
