Hundred percent thought this was a 200k+ sub channel because of the quality, professionalism, and personalty displayed here and in your Wards video. Fantastic work, man, the subs will be rolling in in no time.
If you play a champ where many players are on average very good then its rly hard to get an S. If you play something that many players are playing while the majority of them are rly terrible at it you get an easy S. If you are playing a champions where most players are insane onetricks you have a really hard time getting a S. Its really that simple. How good is the average player on your champ in your position.
Thanks man :) It means a lot. Honestly can be discouraging sometimes when I put a lot of effort in and get nowhere, but I'll keep trying and make what feels good!
it is not 1 or 2 wards, u need like 10 or 15 wards minimum, I hate this system, if I already have full vision of the map why the fk would I want more vision and I keep getting A just because of this, even if u get 30/0 u still get A because u didnt place enough wards, why waste time walking around map and placing wards...
@@luanita307 like he said you dont need to win to get an s rank just farm after laning phase do good dmg dont die and ward and you will get an s rank even you lose the game but yea when you have one of these games then you cant even farm or die often too then shit happens you cant get an s rank every game so just chill and have fun :)
checks out with the last thing: average performance of your champion on your role, so the average of 3sh top will be really low because of people actually trolling and feeding
@@joaquinceriani5033 thresh is garbage in top. thats probably why pioneers dont find success and his "just survive" thresh overperformed that much. (its because he is stat-wise VERY weak early. pretty much no armor)
@@alexmcfly31415 actually it calculatws off meta stuff since your 3 statistics that he mentioned get compared to other players playing the same champion in that role like he said. So since thresh mid or top isn't played much getting an S is easy
Yuumi imo is the easiest champion to get an S on :D I have m7 on 3 accounts and you just sit on whoever is fed, adc not doing well sit on the fed midlaner :D and Soraka is another super easy one, I got m7 on her at like 33k mastery, whenever you notice another lane about to get a kill just ult free assists lol
ADC in general is much more harder to get S is actually pretty bad for people like me that is my 4 position I enjoy playing the position and get pretty decent score like 13/3 with a lot of farm, pretty vision and still getting A because I'm not a acostumed to do. So I can't get s if I'm not playing top, supp or JG.
@@danielmoreno2969 i have more S in ADC then in others. For some reason the KDA in ADC for S is not that hard... i did a game Ashe and got S with 15/4/11 with 12 vision score and 160 minions, but with Nasus I got A with 17/1/15, 20 vision score and 200 minions. I fuckin carried that game and even did penta more then 1 time. I am still trigged for not getting S. It was the best game I had with that champ and is really desapointing to end the game and not get S. Not even my team honored me and I saved their feeding asses more times then i can count, never said anything mean and even encouraged and made jokes. So basically the best game became the worst game. LoL should really fix this grading system
As someone who actively abuses this mechanic, i can confirm that it is abusable, but not as simply as you stated here. It's the average performance - so that doesn't mean that off-meta champions in off-meta roles are going to be easy to get an S on. There are some people out there who main off meta champions in off meta roles - and you'll be competing with them. So if you take Renekton mid, you'd better be ready to compete with Renekton mid mains, because nobody else is playing that champion in that role. OPGG can help with finding roles people suck at on specific champions. It's much easier to farm S scores on champions in off-roles when there's a specific OP item/build for that champion or immediately after a buff. For example, immobile ADCs like Cait & Ashe mid/top are free real estate atm because nobody plays them there, but they're easy to perform well on (even if you lose). Next patch, it'll be something else.
well i dont think this mechanics works i just had a game with miss fortune jungle , i destroyed my enemy and had a 4/1/9 kda and was present in all obj fights , dealt second most dmg and i had the most vision score more than the support and finally i had about 150 cs in 21 min which is good for jungle role yet i got an A score not even an A+ or S- like how is this worse than the average miss fortune junglers ??????
@@ghassenchakroun2478 Did the game end fairly early. I have found that even if I play perfectly it is very hard to get an S if the enemy team ff quickly.
Lemme tell you I'm setting a quite high standard for Kled jgl. This champ is just broken and no one knows about it. (Also, I got my m7 playing Kled supp. Now I know why xD)
switching lanes in draft doesnt work cause they clearly track pretty well in blinds. Also please remember the difference between off meta and troll picks
One man's off-meta fun is another man's troll. My sister plays Lulu top and just got her M7 by repeatedly killing her Tryndamere opponent. Sure enough... the team with a TRYND on it whined that we were playing "broken champs". We laughed harder than if she were playing a "normal" top.
Welcome! Thanks for watching the video, and then reading the comments too! Wow look at you on a roll! I'm really enjoying building these kinds of videos so If you have any topics you'd like me to cover in the future, drop them below :)
maybe mmr/lp because i heard that if you have a low LP gain aka your mmr is lower than what you currently are you can dodge like 30 games and your lp gains are fixed im not sure but I heard imls say it and i trust him. tldr video about dodging and lp/mmr
how someone who stoped playing 5 years ago can enjoy the game again? the game still thinks i am diamond and good mmr i get into a game and got destroyed . like: HOW TO GET BACK TO LEAGUE AFTER YEARS WITHOUT PLAYING
BRO HOW HAVE I NOT FOUND YOU BEFORE?? YOUR VOICE IS CALMING, YOUR CONTENT IS HIGH QUALITY, AND YOU CLEARLY PUT EFFORT INTO WHAT YOU'RE DOING. RU-vid ALGORITHM BRUH
I got mastery 7 on lux by mostly playing her as an ADC on bot with a full AD Build, can confirm I got S-es a lot even if I didnt 1v9. So that piece of info is most likely true. Off meta roles on champs helps a lot :)
@@ArkadianYT If you want off-meta ADCs I have a lot of them to recommend. In order of viability I would say Janna, Lux, Brand. But I also love playing Lulu, Nami, Soraka, Karma, LeBlanc, Ahri. And even ADC Aurelion Sol (tho I play it top lane). If you wanna go a bit less off-meta maybe try ADC TF on bot (Im a D1 ADC TF main). I did play ADC Janna on my silver smurf in ranked games and it went 4.83 KDA with 65% winrate over 22 games. Even had a penta in my first game :D
Just saw this video on reddit. Man I use to watch your stuff YEARS ago before I took a break from league myself. Just came back a few months ago. Good to see you back as well.
The only thing to focus on is high cs'ing. You can get an S with 2/0/0 KDA, get more than 200 cs in a regular game and it's a guaranteed S. Ward normally and don't worry about vision score.
Holy shit. Arkadian is back. You were the first League of Legends training videos I ever watched back in season 5. They helped me out a lot and I looked for them again a year or so ago and couldn't find them and now this just popped up in my suggestions. This is great.
I'm not exactly sure how, but I've always felt it would interesting if they could somehow implement this into the ranking system. I feel like the most reasonable approach could be to just add a couple extra LP on a win or tack off a couple LP from a loss with an S performance. And poor performances could also do the same. I feel like this would add a little extra incentive for people to not just give up mid game. If they give up and start turbo inting, they are gonna get a lower rating, and therefore lose more LP on the loss. If they are turbo inting and you somehow still carry them, they don't get as many points as the people who actually took the game seriously and tried to win. If they have a rough lane and pull it together for a decent B or A performance then they can avoid the extra damage. . Obviously this all relies on the rating metrics for each champion being super accurate. But it could be pretty cool I think.
With this newfound information, I went on a month long journey into getting the illusive Mastery 7 Emote, I succeeded by using my Veigar as a support, stealing kills from my ADCs and carpet bombing river with wards
Thank you for the vid. I got 40 assists on naut, 30 vision score, and grouped at every teamfight and it was still an A+. Upon watching this video i think my problem is there are too many naut players performing on that same level, i will have to try and take him mid
@@ArkadianYT Games + Chests = Mimics :D Mimics chests are the first thing that popped up in my mind when ya said chest xD I even have a mimic dice bag lol
Nice video! I was playing earlier with Lux bot lane 7/0/7 and ended up with an S+ rank. I'm still relatively new to some aspects of this game, and was wondering what exactly I did to get that so this does help clear some things up. In that particular game, the other person who was down there and I cleared out both turrets, lots of minions, and got a bunch of kills (19 between the two of us) so this does seem to meet the criteria you mentioned here.
Omg that makes so much sense! I have been playing Tal mid for over 100k points and JUST got M6 (for some reason S- doesn't count and I keep getting those), then i played Taliyah sup for a meme and got 2 S's in a row for mediocre games
i just got an s+ today on xayah, my main, without even trying. i knew that getting an s is hard and super cool, so here i am, watching this vid and making a checklist of things i did in the game that are spoken of in this video lol
Also, the champion you play is important, too. Basically, you get graded by your play according to that champ play pool. Let's say, every plays singed very bad, and you play good, even if you have bad vision score, you still get S, because overall in player pool of singed, you outplayed them with your play. So, if you want to get S+ a lot for its chest loot, try champs which is not being played much :)
Not to flex, but I got my first and only Skarner S+ (he's one of my two secondaries) by going like 8/3/5 as a support with my friend playing Brand ADC. We did it EXCLUSIVELY as a joke to have Brand circle dance around my spires, and it slaughtered.
Ok, in the 3 years (if I remember correctly) that that analytic page has been there. How is it that only now do I realize that it lays out the prerequisites to get an S right there? Still great video and now I know. Time to go Rammus ADC with full attack speed crits.
I actually did not know about the stat tracker in the client. Thank you for showing that specifically! Very helpful video. I knew I was competing against a percentage, but I didn't realize all the factors it took into consideration.
I feel like I kinda messed it up doing giveaways when it started out and had a lot of dead subs. I decided to build a new channel from scratch and grow it organically :)
6:20 This is why it's easier to get an S in an off-meta role, for example, Rumble support or Yorick mid. It's wild how easy that is to take advantage of lol
Great video! I find as a support main a good way to get S on support is to take kills, this will not help you win and I don't really agree with it but it does make your average gold per minute go up compared to the other supports in your role. as for chest I normally can Farm them because the mid player I run with is good at playing assassin AP Veigar mid lol
... that explains how I went 10/3/15, 150CS+/-, 20+ placed wards (including control wards) and 3 Solo downed Towers on Ornn in a 30min-ish game, but didn't get an S; didn't group with the team enough (it was a weird game - they kept trying (and failing, miserably) to take Top, so I just stayed Top and let them come to me.), and when we did group at the end, I was focused on doing Crowd Control rather than outright Damage and went for long runs from Bot to Top rather than waste TP to go stop them. Also after buying Warmogs, I would just hop into the jungle for a minute or so to heal before regrouping with the team, instead of farming. Not enough gold over time, and not enough roaming of the map or damage to enemy champions. (Yes, 10 kills, but most of those kills were "You're gonna attack me in the middle of my minion wave, and in range of my tower? Okay... let's Q to slow you down and then last hit you like a Minion. Except even if I don't last hit you, I still get the gold. And your JG has decided to come and attack me right now too... okay, well, W-Q-E, thanks for the Double Kill. One quick question - am I on a Stream somewhere?") Interesting. Good to know.
I'm so confused, I have a REALLY strong feeling I used to watch your videos a few years back when I played league and you had a whole giant channel with more than a hundred k followers and all these handy tutorials like lane freezing and junk. And I cant remember that series but drowning in this nostalgic feeling of being a newb again cuz of it...
@@ArkadianYT dude i missed your stuff so much. Is there anywhere i can find the old content as well for a trip down memory lane? You were one of the top league players for me at the time so glad youre back on it with even better content. Keep at it mate~
Best way is to just take ur champion into the support role if youre really struggling. Ive done it on a couple champions and I get what I need really fast.
