HOW TO GET BETTER AT SMITE - HOW TO BUILD/THE ITEM SHOP!! 

A couple corrections: 1. Fire Giant does magical damage with its abilities so it’s the only objective which doesn’t do physical. 2. Apparently antiheal working on HP5 was patched very recently which just goes to show you how the game can change. It’s worked on it for 7 years and one patch they change it up. The idea of the video for both is still there - learn how items interact with certain things so that you can value them more or less based on that.

As a brand new player, this gave me pretty much the exact base that I've been looking for. A brief explanation of most things, fairly streamlined, that gave enough information for me to actually explore more on my own, as opposed to needing to ask others for assistance. I've been playing for about 5 years and have been high masters for the past 4 and have been gm a couple times. And some of my friends who don't play but are interested ask me about the game and for tips. And honestly it takes a lot of time and patience to teach them, especially because I don't like playing casuals AND there weren't many good guides for newer players. A lot of guides tell them WHAT to buy and not WHY which is why I love this guide. As a person with a background in MOBAs(LoL and Smite) the most important and gamechanging revelation(besides learning matchups and how abilities interact with each other) is learning why to build what, and when. I remember way way back about 8 years ago when I started to put the pieces together in league on how to counterbuild and it's one of the best feelings because knowledge really is power especially in MOBAs. I'm droning but basically what I'm trying to say is thank you. Now I'll send all my friends here to learn(I'll obviously still help them out) and maybe someday I can play ranked with them. You've been my favorite SPL player since you hit the scene I LOVE watching good solo laners(I used to study Divios, Omega and Cyclone before he swapped to AD carry) and I knew you had huge potential your debut season. You're literally a short lane machine and I can tell you love the game. Good luck this year Fonz last year was unlucky but I know you and the boys will win this season!

I've been playing smite on and off(more on the off side of it) for a couple years now but I've recently started playing it with a bit more dedication. This video was super helpful as a refresher man, especially about stat caps and stuff. Thanks.

2 years playeing this game solo realizing I don't know anything always played arena but now trying to get into conquestbut it seems like you better know what you're doing before you play conquest cuz people really get on you so I'm trying to learn so thanks so much for this video especially that anti heal part cuz people are always yelling build anti heal items!

I feel that it would be interesting on a video about game awareness/map awareness. I know a lot of it comes with time and experience, but if you had tips or certain things you do/did to get better at it a video on it would be cool! Great video, keep up the good work!

A good topic could be how the positioning and the role of each person changes from early to mid to late game. Some times I feel lost because I don't know where to go. Also another (but more technical) is how farmirng goes, the value of the camps compares to the lane and kills (taking into account sharing). And finally how the stupid minions in lane work and their target logic that I find confusing some time. I hope it helps to give you some ideas. It's nice to a very top player make this analisis, nice video ^^

I loved the "How to team fight as a solo laner" video, but as someone who doesn't always play solo but is always confused as to who I should be hitting in whatever role I'm playing, I think a more general video would be very helpful.

I think a video on which items counter each other/ which items counter certain gods/ which gods counter certain gods. Never had it all explain and some I can deduce myself, but I’m not a SPL dominant solo later.

Another informative video, I wish this video came out when I started smite. This video will definitely help ANYONE new or intermediate to smite and there's even things included for regular players that may not be known. Keep it up :)

Really hope that new players pop up in your channel, your contribution to the community is by far the greatest one, and all you give is valuable information. I'd rather take any info from you, part of one of the greatest teams ever and also one of the best solo laners (if not the best). There's also small things in you that helps a lot, players see how chill you are in game and that should influence them.

An idea for a video (if you haven't done it before) would be how to aproach different matchups in the solo lane: a god that relies on habilities vs a god with is autoatk based, melee vs range, gods with bad sustain vs goods with good sustain, etc. Yesterday I played me being Sobek and the enemy being Set. I was so frustrated that I thought about going autoatk for a moment because by the 15 min mark he was clearing faster than me and stealing my buff every time

there's one big problem i have with building and it's the fact that there are so many items that accomplish the same goal, but have so many minute differences that i don't know whether i should take one thing or the other.

Would you mind going over each specific role and how to be aggressive, defensive and just be able to assist your team in early game domination? I feel like newer players dont understand certain things like not going past river if youre constantly getting ganked, how important wards can be and where to place them etc.

The things I fuck up is understanding power curve of mages and when to what items to introduce to stay viable in all 3 phases of game also another one is how to build pen .. ik what they are and how they work but I don't know how much is good (flat and %) for how much of protections

Maybe a rotation guide that emphasizes how pressure can translate across the map, I see that often in my ranked games a solo laner may have a 2 or 3 level lead but the mid laner is getting farmed with no help or the ahead duo lane goes and invades etc.

Maybe for the next guide video fineokay can tell us how to deal with ganks. I can never deal with most ganks in mid. I wanna main Thoth but I usually get bursted in ganks all the time. Possibly you could go over each role and how to deal with ganks. I’m not the best at the game. I’m in bronze 3 but I think I’m maybe a gold 5. I keep on getting crappy teammates. Maybe another video idea is how to deal with feeding teammates. I don’t know if that’s too far from possibility but I think it could help. I’ll edit this post if I have any more ideas.

Okay one thing to correct. Every God has multiple optimal builds, but it also is based on player style. Like Heim. Some people focus on crit. I prefer to focus on his ability damage, but I also like to fuck around so my optimal build is a bruiser Heim that can dive into a fight and fuck with everyone by eating a lot of damage while abusing Transcendence and mana given by defense items to make up for the lack of power

I think i good video idea is maybe a “how to properly dive the back line as a solo lane” video because i noticed many people could use a good guide on an important job of a solo laners role.

This is low key my favorite series... I've bought a mouse bungee and mechanical board, I've practiced taking ownership of my mistakes as a player and I've seen vast improvement in both mechanics and win rate. This is another outstanding piece of informative content and the community should be taking notes as a whole. I would love to hear your thought process as a professional as to how to get to the SPL. I'm climbing up ranked/ and hoping to find a competitive team... Any info or suggestions on how to get on a team/ effectively contribute to a Challenger/SML team would be extremely helpful.

Been playing smite for years, but still good to watch videos like this, they remind you of stuff as there so much to learn from smite. Great Job! I think for future videos you can do a lot of play by plays, I think understanding PROPER decision making is a key to elevating gameplay. Good video!

Unless you're holding it for another video I kinda wished you explained base god stats, like how every god has base protections which makes flat pen great against squishies for example. I also wish you would explain stuff like power curves in your build, and scenarios in which you may consider defense options on gods you would otherwise build full damage options on.

I think some tips on how to position yourself better would be useful for some, whether it be in lane farming or during teamfights/objectives. Just an idea, always love to see the uploads regardless.

AS reduction doesn't DR per se, it's just calculated from enemies base attack speed, not their current amount. So no matter how much AS they are building, your AS reduction is still calculated from their base which is usually 0.95-1.00.

Highly recommend you think of some type of coaching career once you're done with Smite. This is basically an entire sport clinic. - Coming from a football coach w/ sport psych degree.

How about a guide on general counters? For example, if you see the enemy team having an Awilix, you will not go a god with a leap due to the fact being hard countered. Another example is if you see their comp is very aggressive and able to dive, you'd need to have an escape so you won't go immobile got like an ah puch or perhaps an AMC. Let's see some build counters, for instance if you are a hunter and you're playing against a kuzenbo support who has gone thorns + he has his reflect spell, you won't hit him and etc... Perhaps some ability counters like if you play cama, you will save your leap against achilles 1 to avoid the stun and etc. just a general overall guide nothing too specific. Many players seem not to know many of the ability counters in smite

hey bro just spoke to ya shortly in stream - but basically was asking if you could do a video to explain concepts relative to scaling for characters to help someone understand picking items on the fly when they have to pick a champ they may not main. I guess it would start with something like, why you wouldnt use the same items you'd build on Anubus , for lets say, a discordia - or baba yaga. Essentially teaching people how to understand a character enough to know which items will work best for them, by looking at the stats screen and the abilities screen. Hope this makes sense, as it would be very helpful in teaching people 'how to fish'

Could you make a vid about recognizing which item could be most beneficial for situations or on power spikes? For example I’ve seen some ADC players like panda cat talk about having a larger power spike with Asi than exe on some characters and I’m not sure why.
