If you get a royal guard claymore from the depths it can do 49 base damage with attack up + 10, leading to a total attack damage of 874.8 per hit

The radiant set also has bone proficiency as a set bonus. If you want something easier to get ahold of

The octorok dont need to spit out the weapon for it to be repaired and upgraded. When you see the sparkles around the octorock you can kill and the weapon will be upgraded and repaired.

You can use tier 2 or above radiant armor for the bone prof buff, it has better defense aswell.

anybody else haviung trouble with the last part? when i go to the weapons it either just drops them and doesnt say anything or says i cant drop the items but still drop the master sword with the oither stuff and i just have to do it over again

Not sure of this is a valid question here but just to make sure, after the glitch is sucessful do we need to keep the new 400 damage master sword always next to the 148 royal's claymore or it doesnt matter anymore? I noticed when I have the new modified msword next to other weapon the name of it change to the last weapon you selected, but is that affecting the almost 400 damage effect? Please confirm

If you are having trouble with the dropping of the sticks or the weapons you are dropping, for me it worked well to Sprint and jump at the wall in a shrine then you are parallel to the wall, then you turn around and parry 3 times. After that do what he said and you will have no problems.

Molduga spawn points are fixed, the Siwa shrine is simply the most convenient and I love that the devs put it right there next to one. There are four moldugas each blood moon: Toruma Dunes, Siwa shrine, west of the north Gerdudo ruins, and south of Siwa shrine. Molduga jawbones are also beautiful on gerudo scimitars for general headbashing.

this works only on V1.2. if you are on V1.0 try this in open field not in a shrine 1. Equip the donor weapon (the weapon who's stats you're going to put into the master sword) 2. Crouch, make sure you're not holding a weapon 3. Open inventory 4. Drop donor weapon, equip master sword 5. Drop a shield, the bigger the better, I usually drop a rocket or wing shield and it always works 6. Buffer (unpause and pause really quick) 7. Drop master sword 8. Unpause 9. Stay crouched, walk over and pick up only the donor weapon 10. Check inventory and profit

i used the royal guard’s claymore from the depths to do even more dmg, but this is more work to find one, i recommend watch austin john plays video on how to get specific weapons in the depths if you’re interested

Does it do anything if you put critical hit on the claymore and then put the claymore on the master sword?

Didn't work for me. When i pick the weapon that i droped earlier on the floor, i just get that weapon and msg not found remains unchanged

Basically the weapon double dmg when about to break, when it 1 hit away from breaking , the dmg double agai . Armor set incease bone weapon and food incease again . Work great on lynel

By the way you can get unwithered weapons first you break the weapon you want then you go to the underground and try and find it offered from the “spirit knights”

if u take the royal guards claymore and break the decayed version, you can get the undecayed version in the depths, which essentially would double the damage

Idk why I can’t manage to make the msg not found sword. I’m on version 1.0.0 and did the whole shrine thingy where u use the rock by the wall stuff drop weapon++ and then reload the new save by the broken arch place and the sword just never appears there for me to open the weapons menu. I was able to do the bow transfer glitch so I do have a 5x royal guard bow but other then that idk how to with the msg sword.

Do you need the sticks or can it be any weapon?

When i plus plus, a stick always comes back into my inventory and i can't transfer, dropping msg sword makes me duplicate another stick?

If you buy the pristine royal guard claymore picture from Robbie, set it on your sensor and fly around the depths around central hyrule you can get pristine Royal guard stuff really quick. I found the claymore in less than 10 minutes, plus I lucked out with +10 no octorock

I'm trying to do the swapping the buffs over to the mastersword, but when i drop them i get the 'you can not drop this here' message, but it drops the mastersword anyway. How do i fix this. I'm on version 1.0.0.

I think the bone prof combo is outdated now since it was discovered that atk up set bonus gives the same boost (1.5x) as 3 separate atk up armor pieces, but it can be stacked with the food buff. Overall the multiplier is worse, but you can use the lynel saber horn instead which makes up for losing the higher bone prof multi. Also, if you break a non-fused royal guard claymore, save at the top of eventide chasm, and then go down and fly over the coliseum, there's a claymore spawning knight shadow that can give you a pristine version. If it's not holding one when you check and you've never loaded it in prior to that check, you can load at the top of the chasm and dive in again (otherwise you need to wait for a blood moon).

I can’t get the third stick to drop it keeps staying in my inventory

here i got a royal claymore attack power 42 with a +10 attack on it making it 52 damaged and when i put a sliver horn Lynell on it with the badly damaged at the last 2 HITS! as well i got max of 84 royal guard claymore. with 100 sliver Lynel saber horn so total damaged i have here is 194 plus the 2 yellow thingy too. i have fuse it on my master sword and it came up 95 plus last 2 hits damaged and flashing red and it not once broke and I'm SOOO happy.. if you go and get a royal claymore at 42 +10 then your lucky as i was over the moon lol

Don't think this works anymore. Looks like the stats for the sword are set because I keep getting attack +3 every time and reloading my save doesn't change

So just to help anyone else with some confusion, I just read this info from someone who helped find and develop this glitch and shared this under another video. TLDR: Weapon based traits like the RG Claymore don't transfer to the MNF, Only the Modifiers (aka Attack up +10) and the fuse material. Breaking the fuse weapon to 1HP is needed to cause a critical hit that normally would happen when the weapon(ANY weapon) would break. But it can't break so it happens every hit. Full quote- kurocat471 "you aren't fusing anything to MsgNotFound, you're transferring modifiers, durability, and fuse material onto it. Max damage is 190 from a MNF with attack up +10 for 40, fused with a silver lynel saber horn for 95, at exactly 1 durability (not just badly damaged) which makes it do x2 damage always since normally it would break, but it's unbreakable so it never does. Just getting it in red durability isn't enough for the x2 damage, it needs to be at exactly 1 hit away from breaking (so 2 hits after red). The silver lynel blade also doesn't need to be a royal guard claymore, it just needs to have those three properties."

I’m on version 1.0.0 everytime i drop the msg not found after doing all the steps, it gives me back one stick. Or the msg not found turns into one of the sticks for some reason. Anyone else have this problem?

Wonderful strategy. But to make it even better, I would use the Pristine Royal Guard's Claymore in the depths. Using your same setup, this will give you 874 damage.
