Given that the B2 visa is valid for up to 6 months I'm at risk if the CBP port officer decides not to give me the full 6-months, should I personally ask him to be able to stay for 6 months while at the entry port? And lastly, what should I tell the home country Consular officer when he ask what is my B2 visa travel purpose? It is said that you should convince the interviewing officer that you are going to come back after your B2 visa expires.
