@chor-seaofthieves Absolutely not! But I've started! My boyfriend and I went into an HG fight, we both listened to your video, and communicated a bit better, and won! Which is our first win together. So thank you! Still a lot of improvements to be made of course. But it's one step forward!

Just wondering chor for season 10 am I better off double gunning or using a sword? And if double gunning, what methods can I use to speed it up. Thanks
Season 10 double gunning isn't as good as it use to be (especially when dealing with large boat sizes) because hitreg is always a factor I still do double gun but usually mostly against sloops. I've also started to use sword and flintlock now as opposed to just sticking to double gunning because of the main original reason being the fast time to kill. The sword outweighs this now with the changes because of its mobility and the flintlock can reload much faster than sniper for close quarters fights. For the most part I'd use blunder sniper when helming a sloop, and sword flintlock as a cannoneer if I plan to be doing lots of boarding (but otherwise blunder sniper as well) 🙌🏼
Used to do that till I found Sword and Pistol to be better. Learning to hipfire the pistol gives you a guaranteed 50 damage at a very good range where as the blunder tends to be inconsistent. Then all you got to do is hit them twice. For some reason it's a combo most people don't seem to expect often. Only downside is blunder is better at knocking off boarders.
This works with sword too if you time it right. But tbh this is glitchy on Xbox, it tries to cancel your sprint and it glitches you out not letting you do it

Couple tips that worked for me: 1: Make sure that the gun your switching to is in slot to (cus its right above w) 2: Don't switch to gun 2 too fast cus for some reason it won't work sometimes ( and no I don't mean misfired I mean the scope won't quick scope)
To double tap you really need to sprint to cancel the animation? So just for the part of the sprint you need to tap W AND the button to sprint? That sas😪
This is for cowards. Your literally exploiting mechanics in the game to have an unfair advantage over non cheaters. They tried to fix it and the cheaters found a way around it. Rare TRIED to fix this as it is not meant to be used that way. If you need to have an unfair advantage to beat people that is no different than cheating to me and is literally a pathetic way to artificially inflate your egos in a cartoon pirate game. Fair and square these people are trash players hence why they NEED exploits. Between this and the abundance of cheaters/aim bot this game is going downhill fast. Cant tell difference between that and cheater because that ultimately is cheating. Your just finding loopholes, which did I mention is pathetic. this type of behavior attracts cheaters and toxic players in my opinion. Happy Sailing to all and really hope Rare finds a way to nerf this where nerds can not exploit it anymore. If they wanted it in game they would not of tried to get rid of it.
