thanx @Swati Rai. I'm actually in middle of improvising my portfilio. So it's kind of a lot in my mind at the moment. You've cleared most of my doubts. I've got motivated. Hope we see a lot of content from you. And request you to make a video on where we can able to find internships or ux jobs, i mean like a best portal. Actually having lot of doubts regarding it.

Hi Swati, I'm currently working in the field of Learning Design and would like to transition into UI/UX with the help of the same masters degree you took. I do have a lot of transferable skills from my job experience but it won't be considered as a 100% relevant experience I suppose. Considering all that, do you think it'll be difficult/risky for me to find jobs. Let me know your thoughts.

Yeah it will be in Europe, please see my other videos you will get an idea about job situation in Europe. People who have relevant skills and qualification are also struggling to find a job. Make wise decision :)

Well that was my personal opinion, but do whatever suits you. If you feel like you need someone to push and plan all the things for you then you can stick with the bootcamp. Also I hope you know what is happening with Growth school and all. But if you feel like you are a motivated person and have discipline then you can try doing all the things by yourself. And I honestly feel like bootcamps are a waste of money.

As per your experience could you please tell if the job or internship opportunities are more in india or other countries. Also what is better freelancing or having a job in a particular company?

Hi, I will say there are more opportunity in India but also there are so many people fighting for a single job. (I saw an application for UX Designer, 1500 people applied for a single job). Also the market is so bad now, companies are still firing people and hiring has freezes. But also it's not that people are not getting hired so keep trying and also if you try for another country chances are less they will consider you as they give priority to people from their country but you can keep trying and look for remote jobs. Coming to your next question, both have their pros and cons but if you are starting your career try to get some experience and then switch to freelancing because you will have experience and you could charge more and getting freelance work will get easy.

I won't say presentation but yeah you do have to explain your design to the team and you do always have to give them reason of why you think it's better or why you are taking this approach.

It doesn’t matter, as I said my employer didn’t even cared for my graduation. I started working full time even before graduating. It does depend on the company, try to find EU or US companies.
