I had MRP control arms + TC rods, and they were still 20deg less than this. That's stupendous. Thanks for posting detailed technical info on the install

I think it will work out well for your power range. I'm running manual rack with spacers with t3 tie rods an power steering knuckles. It's more angle than I have power to use. Interested to hear how this setup performs on the streets as my next build I plan to make some power.

Is nice solution for a big angle. But if you put a bigger wheel? The 15 inches wheel is easy for that.

One of the other AE86s running this angle kit uses 17" wheels if I remember correctly.

Appreciate it if you would post some pics of the mounting points on fb. Nice vid bud I was having a hard time wrapping my head around the caster adjustment looking at the pieces.

I can do that! I didn't cover it in the video, but my worry about caster adjustments are gone ha. The heim joint for the tension rod mount gives you a ton of fine tunable adjustment, and the control arm mount on the subframe gives you even more, and the different mounting holes on the top hat gives you EVEN MORE hahaha

Was hoping you would eliminate scrub on the inner wheel well with this kit 16:45. I'm pretty sure my only option is a different offset as well. Was trying to avoid flares but seems to be where its at.

This has an INSANE amount of angle. Even with the angle limiters, I don't think anything else out there has as much angle. Only ways to get more clearance to max the kit out is to push the stance wider, or run smaller wheels/tires ha.

I do have a set of 13s and wheel spacers for looks lol. If you want the angle on a 86 without notching/tubing the frame it comes down to offset n flares i guess. Which is kinda crazy, you had 3in extended lcas? So these are what 4in? Enough to have to notch the top hat mounts. U have 20mm fenders and about 8in wide wheels? ...waiting for "widebody kit" to pop up.

With 3" extended LCAs I really should've had the extended upper strut mounts too ha. These are somewhere around 3-3.5" wider than stock. Front fenders are a +40mm. I wish aero companies made like +60mm fenders or something for AE86s like they do for s chassis.

How much was your wheel angle all the way before the kit ? Tryna find the ae86 wheel ratio but i dont got one i just know that the spring compress 0.2 centimiter all the way

Thanks for sharing this! I didn't even know about the suspension stuff that Just Engineering has. I recently stumbled across your channel because I've been doing research on doing an 8.8 Ford rear end. Do you have any vids on making the jig to weld up the 4 link mounts on the Volvo rear diff you use?

I think I have a video from a few years ago about making the jig, but it wasn't very good. I think sometime this year I'll be making a new jig for another rear axle, I'll see about making a new video when I do it.

@@DoctoredGarage that would be awesome! Also, I was at the junkyard in SoCal looking at Volvo diffs. The "weaker" Dana 30 style Volvo diff that has lots of gearing options, how would that compare strength wise to say a standard gts diff? Idk, I'm on the fence. I'm cheap and there is a ton of 8.8 explorer diffs with LSD at the junk. So I keep leaning towards using an 8.8, but it looks massive and heavy...
