I watched your video on the amount you made one month, and it was encouraging for me as a South African. I’ve been working there for about three months now, and to you I say ‘thank you’. Your advice is valuable👌🏾
@@kanyisombulawa4157 I didn’t like it because the lighting was bad, and the sound terrible. Idk, but I’d like to think the quality of the video and sound matters too. Maybe it’s because I’m an actor and I send a lot of self tape auditions (video auditions) and the video and quality can put off casting directors when watching you on tape. That’s the logic I used when I changed my video😁
@Naledi Remotely my bad😅.. man this is me everyday! .. nervous lol but thank you. I look forward to it and btw have u started teaching n how has it been so far?
Thanks Trish! This is really helpful by the way! A question I have for you is, apart from the tips you mentioned in the video, are there any other ways in which you can market yourself and find your own students via social media platforms? And then perhaps draw them to your iTalki page for example?
Hey, many countries use different social media platforms so you would have to be familier with those. However, I think you could definitely do that. I have not tried that yet.
May I ask, once I've set up my kids english lesson and prices. What resources can I use to ensure that I deliver quality lessons to my students. Could you suggest a kid friendly curriculum I could follow for fun and effective lessons. Something to guide me and give my lessons structure.
Thank you so much for this coz I got hyped on my first week of approval when students were booking me for trial lessons but I felt like they were just booking me coz my trial was $1 and they just wanted to chat with no intentions to book again.😒😕
Hey thanks for your advice. I wanted to ask does one teach individuals or a class??? I prefer teaching a class then individuals. Thank you. Love your work 💪❤
Hi, in your previous video from 2 years ago, you mentioned palfish. I it still available for SAns and they pay through payoneer. How did you get your funds in payoneer while in South Africa.

Hey, my name is Tiny and I am a teacher on italki. You can login to your student account, choose your billing country or where you are from. After this stage, you will be able to see different pay methods from PayPal to skrill etc. You choose the one you want
Hey Trish, my application to tutor on italki was recently pre-approved but I am having a hard time downloading the success videos so that I can watch them in full length. I can't register on the Baidu app in order to download them either as it keeps telling me that my phone number is not in the correct order and I can't proceed to taking the quiz unless I download the videos and watch them in full I think. Please help me if uzokhona sis.
I think your computer is more practical especially if you have slides. We have not used phones to teach unless it was while working specifically on a phone app
