Your amazing! Thank you for educating us because I recently had a hysterectomy and was in alot of pain lying down and getting us from my bed! Watching your video helped me alot
Thank you, this is very helpful. I had adrenal gland removal surgery last year. Had to sleep in my recliner for a few days. I made the mistake of sleeping in my bed the second night home and it took me 20 minutes to work my way out of the bed to go to the bathroom. Was in a car wreck a few days later & had to sleep in the recliner. We ended up getting a lift chair. Will have major surgeries in one week (hysterectomy, colorectal tumor removal, colostomy, lymph gland in groin removal & plastic surgery to repair the colon removal site)…will need all the help I can get on how to maneuver after I am ready to sleep in my bed again.
Wow, what a trooper you are, @@oklahomaisok . Subscribe to our video library and watch our Home Safety Tool Kit series to prepare your home for a safe transition back home after surgery. Here’s a link to learn more: adaptiveequipmentcorner.com/seniors-at-home/
If you don't have anyone at home helping you get in and out of bed using this technique, at least for a couple days then consider sleeping in a recliner. Wishing you a speedy recovery 🥰🥰
@jonesball06, she would need to consult with her doctor or local PT regarding her specific situation/ any specific restrictions. Take care! ✌🏻❤️😊AECorner.com
