getting over a crush/guy is so hard when it's like becoming a source of entertainment for you and your friends-there are good and bad friends i know but what i mean is the fact that we have crushes on guys for fun and it's so much entertaining when your friends are liking your encounters with them as well so it's a constant state of encouragement and feeding this annoying addiction because "this is so fun" until "i suddenly want him so bad" it's like a peer pressure but you're doing it for fun bcos it's an exciting topic for the groupchat but u keep on entertaining this basic dude for the sake of enjoyment so u constantly think about him and bam! you're freakin doomed lol

just got out of a eight month relationship with someone i did a lot of firsts with and someone i thought would be my forever. i've been crying everyday, bed ridden, just tryna distract myself so i don't just sit and think and this is so painful.
I keep learning to be very clear about what I mean by things, to clarify things etc. with men. otherwise men will just assume. They'll take basic politeness as flirting, or think you're crushing on them just because you smiled. Then they get all cocky and brag about it to their friends inflating it to the max. And the whole time you weren't even romantically interested.

It is really hard when they vouch for you, support you , like you as much as you do but arent capable of committing to you coz they cant offer what they dont know they can fulfill....it was on and off for several months now but ig it was the time to break contact. Its just day 5 though
i just got broken up with 4 days ago, and today was supposed to be our one month anniversary. i know its stupid to hurt so much over someone ive only been with for a month but it was the happiest ive ever been and i miss him the most. it sucks the most since he said that he still loves me but its “for the best” thing is, the distance probably got to him and he still needs to heal from his previous ex before me. i dont want to get my hopes up but he said maybe we can try again in the future, and i think thats whats holding me back from being able to properly heal from him. i know its only been a couple of days but some people make it seem so easy, and i really feel stuck and lost and it hurts so so so much. does anyone have any advice? i cant distract myself because i always think about him, and i cant focus properly. its also been really hard to sleep since we called all the time and slept on call together. someone whos become part of my routine is now gone. and its hard get out of it.
hey as someone who's going through the same thing only that we had been together for 2 years, its not easy and theres no shortcut through a breakup, its gonna hurt its going to get messy but one day its going to be alright and if you truly believe he was a good person and that you loved him then just move on with life and that doesnt mean stop loving him, he said you could try in the future again so if he really loved you he's going to wait for you and when the time is right you guys will reunite. I know it hurts so much, the flashback of those blissful memories they hurt but just think of them as a good experience and try to move on with life and if it was actually good you guys will reunite. No need to stress too much everything happens for a reason. Take care try to reach out to friends and family when you feel too low.
