I just quit my 9-5 as an in-house corporate designer and copywriter and finally registered my brand consulting business. I am definitely coming from an executioner role, but need to position myself as the thinker, not the doer. This really helped me draw that line. Just because I can technically execute everything doesn't mean that I have to do it! Great video and amazing tips on how to price each service.

For my first official brand strategy client I’m a shoot for 5k. Or more money on the backend from sales. Thats my strategy and im sticking to it. In fact if i can charge them more i will. They’re paying for my mind! Definitely gotta break up the value of everything though. Thank you 🙏🏽

I've never been on the execution side of Branding. I've always been on the strategy side. Right now I'm focused on improving my positioning in the marketplace and helping my clients so the same
Thanks so much for this! Question though: the problem with charging a flat fee for the strategy is that clients might ask for too many reviews/changes and so on. Do you set a cap in terms of number of hours/number of rounds of rework? Otherwise you might end up working A LOT of hours for one client that might be changing their mind too often. Would love to hear more about this!
I have just started my brand consultancy business as it is the one thing that I really liked. I consider my self on the strategy side of the business since I have a weak background in design, in addition to the fact I like briefing with clients, providing them with the solution and the guidelines on how to apply it without that extra work that comes with during the execution phase. I like how you divided you services, it really opened my mind on how to price my "thinking" as a starter in this amazing business.
