Saw this video last week. Went from seeing 3-4 a night to none. Alpine WSG + Advion gel bait rotated with invict gold gel. Also used Gentrol IGR in counters and bathroom. Finally winning. Also used granular baits(Maxforce and Avert) under my dishwasher, stove and inside my outlet. Appreciate the help
Been struggling with this for a while. Thank you so much for the clear and informative advice that doesn't involve spraying my entire apartment with intense chemicals! 🙂🙏
Thanks for the informative video.. I had a neighbor move out in December and since then my house got infested with roaches. Will definitely be trying out those products
Hey Jason !! Great video.. I am a newly licensed Tech in El Paso and have been fighting German Roaches at a restaurant for 4 months. I knock em down with Alpine WSG and Doxum but can't kill em off. I thought it would take longer to build resistance so I didn't change product " I will now though" I think that is the step I was missing- THANKS !!!!
Try Phantom insecticide mixed with Nyguard IGR. As a bait I would use Advion cockroach gel bait or Invict Gold Cockroach bait. Should solve your problem.
After I couldn’t reject their visa and passports, I started using Boric Acid in all room parameters, under refrigerator, stove, moist areas in bathroom, any areas that aren’t to come in contact with food or people, especially pets. Don’t know if that stuff is available anymore, but, it worked.
Makes sooo much sense why advion was not working anymore. I live in a Complex and it is a reoccurring problem. Advion kept it under control about 6 months. Thanks for the info
I bought a fridge offline, I'm guessing that's how they were brought in. I can't afford a professional at the moment, Thank you so much for this video!
Thanks I really appreciate your video. I also have baits and I have notice they work well. They are coming through the vents so I think that I am going to have a professional come and spray but I have baits and use the gel. We just put the gel down and have noticed they are gone but the adults are still here. They go away during the day but at night they are in the kitchen and they are in the bathroom. We live in a 3 bedroom apartment and underneath is a restaurant so I can imagine we might have a hard time controlling them.
I'm up in Canada... been having great success with a new gel bait on the market called Seclira... also using Avert CR powder bait and Drione dust. Perimeter treating with Demand CS. Going to take your advice and swap gel baits to MaxForce next visit and rotate between Avert and Drione on monthly basis. Thanks for the info... just need to find another product to rotate on perimeter treatments.
thanks my man...........found out that my Ger roaches came from shipping boxes !! I do almost everything on line now and stored the empty boxes just outside my kitchen !! I've never had roaches in 25 yrs in this house and always sprayed my own.......demon..........but I kept one group of boxes too long ......I cut them up and stack them. ....and I saw 2 Ger roaches cruise out of the boxes !! The tons boxes are the only difference.......so......has to be that !!! Working on your suggestions
My tendentious brought them from Texas in Wisconsin and had hundreds, it had been exterminated 3 times before they moved out and once vacant, I cleaned out everything and sprayed but didn’t.t get rid of until I removed all woodwork including trim and door frames and painted both sides and all wall area especially in crevices but found them again in the window that had been cleaned. I think I got them all but somehow got them now in my house so I will try this,
@@paladinknight8461 having the same problem here in VA Beach. Did the chemical work? If not who did you call? I've checked out Fox pest but it seems everywhere here has bad reviews
Out neighbor gave us a box of fruit and veggies they got from food bank. It looked good and fresh. I got home late and planed on putting it all away the next day. As I put the produce away I found roaches in the bottom. I'm sure there where so many more that came out at night
You helped me last year get rid of a flea infestation I had in my home, it was outside, in my basement mostly, and my house, it was just awful, never thought I would get rid of them but I followed the advice from a vid I saw of yours and two months later, they were gone. Now, I saw 3 roaches, one very day and I am freaking out. Will follow your advice to see if it works but I give you mass credit for the advice on the flea problem. Thank you!
I've lived in my home for over 9years. House is cleaned constantly. My home is semi attached to another unit. There is a firewall between our unit but was wondering is it possible it came from my neighbour? He has been renting out his unit. Recently been finding cockroaches running in my kitchen. I've went crazy trying to find the nest or evidence and I can't find anything only the cockroaches on the floor late at night. I'm so pissed. I bought advion and have DE powder.
They also love antique furniture, and acoustic guitars and pianos, because these contain Hide Glue. It stinks, and they eat it. Same as paper bags and cardboard. Also electronics-, for the warmth and the glue I am a retired painter, and spray foam and Good Caulking, 40 year+, or urethane for around sinks, is a permanent solution so you dont need all the chemicals all the time. These German invaders, it only takes a few, and they will take over. My daughter had a house full, and she stayed with us a couple months, and now they are everywhere- And most are females w egg pouches...7 out of ten right now. I havent seen one in MY house for 35 years, but 4 months of her furniture being in here and theyre everywhere. And they are vectors of disease. I forgot about them liking the warmth. Thank you sir- this is all great information.
Exactly, its a bit trickier when you live in an apartment and they spray when you call them but it never works, they come back, they guys just sprays around the the floor takes 10 minutes per time and thats it. You'd think they would take more time to evaluate, and stagetically kill them.
Hi I live in a small brick unit. I've seen a few in my kitchen and that is all, do I need to treat the whole apartment or just the kitchen? Thank you in advance
Great video. Subscribed. I can't afford the Alpine wsg listed. It's over $150. There's a smaller size, but not sure if that would be sufficient. I've only seen 2 or so in the garage, never inside. But where there's 2, there's more. Mostly wanting preventative maintenance in between our scheduled pest control twice yearly. Thank you!!
Why would the roaches be around a water heater? Do they just sense water? I've noticed it before. I also find them dead in the intake area of my central air conditioner. Thank you for your information. Most professionals won't tell me anything.
Started first rotation yesterday started with Vandetta Nitro then im going to use Advion. Gonna use Alpine(rotation) and Maxforce Select or Magnum next 2 times.
Hello , were you successful? I’ve paid the more than $300 to a professional company from Aug 2022 & Sep 2022 and found out today they tried to hook me into a contract without my knowledge. I’m now wanting to do it myself. I’m Uber vigilant now, I will never go to sleep with one glass in my sink
Man I do this on my own and have my building spray then follow up 2 weeks later. It’s my damn neighbours! I wish I could toss out everything and move but rent is around $3400 a month now
So glad I found your channel. I live in Texas and we have a lot of pests here. My question is do you need a separate gallon sprayer for every pesticide that you use?
@@GreenAkersPC I just spotted an empty egg sack in my apartment for the first time, and all the roaches are in instar stage and very small, I bought Avert dry flowable powder, are you saying this wont work on instar german roaches alone and I need more?
I live in Canada and all the good pesticides are banned here as well as IGR's. pest control keeps coming and laying down baits and it works a little bit. They sprayed one time and they came back. I live in an apartment and I cant find where they are coming in exactly so I cant seal them out.
Hey have you tried just using 2 baits at once i.e. maxforce and advion to wipe out 80% with one and the rest with the other in one swoop. Thanks for the video
Hello! Thank you for the info!! I’m dealing w German roaches in my apartment unit and I wonder if the chemicals you introduced are pet safe? I read something like it’s safe but I want to make sure!
I saw one German cockroach in my apartment. It was on my computer desk in the middle of the night while I was using my computer. This alarmed me and I searched the entire house ever single spot I think a roach would be hiding and didn’t find a single one. Should I be worried. I’m going to deep clean tomorrow and go from there.
I live in a small house in Central BC, Canada. I have read on some web sites that our extreme cold climate will kill them all if I let my place gt really cold in the winter (7 deg F or colder) is this true? It is not hard for me to grab a motel room for a couple of nights down town and let thisw place freeeze up, Please inform me of this solution
Hi Jason, I checked your amazon store recommendations and I only saw Alpine WSG for liquid spraying. What else do you use now to avoid resistance? Thanks and God bless.
In a model home and after 25yrs I have them🤬 neighbors are about 8-10ft away from my house. I’ve seen them On my patio do you believe they are coming from neighbors house outside to mine? They threw furniture away about a month ago now seeing them
I hired a pest control company and also was using some products myself, when i told them they said they would not recommend using different products because you break on colony and create another one. How true ut is?thank you
That’s not true at all lol. Roaches don’t even live in a colony. Now ants do and you can cause ants to split their colonies by using pesticides that repel them
So I love in the Bronx so roaches are regular but this apartment has been sorta decent with not much roaches for some time…now I’m not sure if I brought them in or they’re coming from downstairs ever since the construction..recently these pass couple weeks of them doing work on the building ..they have started showing up in numbers in the kitchen like krazy and in the bathroom… I also have asthma so hopefully we can get rid of them safely?
We've lived here for over 3 years and didn't see any cockroaches until a couple of months ago. The only thing new that came into the house was a brand new washing machine. I bought new precisely because I was afraid of getting roaches from some else's old one. The store delivered it and took away our old one. We were the last delivery that day so I'm thinking that the drivers picked up an old infested appliance from another delivery and it sat in the truck with my new washer all day. Is it possible to get an infestation that way?
What do you think about the use of a micro injector using pyrethrin/pyrethroids etc.? Usually I would do similar to what you’re saying/crack/crevices/bait rotation but for the grand finale I would micro inject all the cracks and crevices and push them out of their hiding spaces. I know it works because if I hit a certain corner behind the cabinetry you see in the roaches just pour out but then again am I spreading them also?
do they retain the chemical immunity from many generations after a poison is stopped? because I have used two of the chemicals u are recommending before. but it was a month ago almost a year. this is some good information.
Hello 👋. I have cockroaches out side my house in the garden and patio. I want to know if I can spray the alpine insecticide as a perimeter barrier or what you recommend ?
Thank you for all the great information. Ill definitely repeat on watching this vid and will share for sure. I just want to be clear on the safety of the product. Is it safe for me to use inside of my cabinets where I store food and clean dishes? And I guess the same question for the other products you mentioned in the video. I will do more research later on each products. I live in an area where roaches are pretty much everywhere 😬 and I feel like I am one of the few people around here who are fighting the roach battle. Some people from other videos have commented that if you're neighbors have roaches most likely you will get them. I'm just curious being that you are a professional, will this affect my results on combating my bug problem? Mainly the German roaches.
pesticides are safe as long as you follow the label. if treating in cabinets you need to pull everything out and treat only in the cracks where shelves and the cabinets are put together. never surface treat a cabinet for roaches or any other bugs. wait until the cabinet is completely dry before placing anything back inside. This is how local exterminators where I live treat cabinets for roaches.
I just moved into a small duplex and I’m only seeing a few German roach nymphs, at night, in the kitchen and bathroom. Maybe about 1 or 2 per night. Last night I didn’t see any. And I haven’t seen any adults at all. What type of infestation am I dealing with?
We have alot of pecan trees in our yard and near the house. That is where I have seen the German roaches at and of course we have them terrible in the house as well. So, what's a good treatment to keep them from coming the house since it will be a constant fight (in my opinion) because they're outside living in the trees? Thanks in advance!
If you live anywhere north of Florida you don’t have German roaches living outside and honestly they are from the tropics and the us climate isn’t good for their survival. You may have Asian roaches. They look like Germans but live outside.
@@GreenAkersPC I can say for a fact that "Asian roaches" may live outside...but German roaches will too and they do! I live in Middle GA. and we've been tirelessly trying to irradiate them from our dog's pen and all surrounding areas including in the trees. We had them in our house but we're able to put an end to that. But now they're surrounding our home. Honestly, I was mind blown to see them outdoors and clearly thriving. 😖
@@_stay_wild_ I have no issue with cockroaches that live out-side of my home. If only they would invite the ones in my house to enjoy the wonderful out-doors!
Hi there! Really important: I sprayed some alpine wsg in my kitchen but I had previously put out the combat gel, is this cross contamination? I saw in another video that I can cross contaminate and then alpine wsg won’t be successful? Should I go and remove the combat gel before continuing the alpine spray? Thanks so much in advance!! Or are they ok to use together? I also bought Advion for the future.
Hi one quick question can you buy these products in stores? Becuase i live around a bunch of porch pirates and I'd like to actually get my products lol
I sprayed our apartment 3 days ago. First day zero roach. Second and third day, seeing two roaches. Should l spot spray where I seen them or wait two weeks and spray entire apartment again. Or should l add a bait? Help😊
Can anybody tell me where they come from? Like evolve from bacteria or something? How can they appear just from water or crumbs? Never seen them outside. Only in the house
hahaha of course they dont evolve from bacteria, they are night crawlers thats why you probably don't see them around, but when you leave food inside your house at night they'll come and lay eggs in dark places like corners, behind drawers, etc. fridge
Hello,I have german cockroaches every where in my house Please i need help how can i get them rid of them permanently.I am facing the problem more than 1 year.
Im havin a problem also just found out under kitchen sink live in a apartment theres mold and a hole in a wall floor sinkn in and looks like it was leaking now german roaches come out at night on the kitchen sink even the bathroom ..ive tried penut butter mix with boric acid for bait seems like there not taking it.
i got my problem from a garage chest freezer. It was new and only 300 vs 700 on offer up. Saw them a week after it was in garage and baited. I should have baited my house better but I stuck some under the washer in washroom, fridge and stove. That wasn't enough. Now I have put bait in every crack I could find. Wish I hadn't now since there will most likely be some left over I can't get to on rotation. Do you recommend the spray that makes them sterile or bait is best for rotation always?
We moved into my late father’s townhouse, who lives next door to a hoarder. Although a professional inspection didn’t find an infestation of roaches, I’ve SEEN ONE crawl through a minuscule space at the baseboard, so I KNOW they’re here. I don’t see the links to the products you mentioned. And I have nightmares about roaches every night. Oh, my original question was we’re still more or less in boxes, and I was hoping to save a lot of the once-used boxes, especially for books. I have a feeling I know what you’re going to say, but do I have to get rid of ALL cardboard boxes?
I live in a apartment With a building with about with about 12 units if I’m not mistaken about 8 units including Myself Own pets dogs/Cats As far as I’m concerned I’m fightin Off roaches as a tenant Of course The Office Management prob pays the cheapest Service Here In the building for Oest control I’m going to Try this although I know It will take everyone To Do this in their apts To completely End the vicious cycle ** they are everywhere 😵🤮‼️
When dealing with heavy infestations, let's say you pull a fridge out and you've got hundreds of roaches. Is it more effective to contact kill as many as possible, or lay bait out right in front of them?
I’m really confused I can’t find out what kind of bug I found but it was like a cricket but it had no heads things only the back sh trump like tail and it had 4 legs like a spider and no antennas please help!
So I did this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-A5maEuNdgMU.html about how to eliminate bed bugs using repellents. Using the steps in this video can help with roaches as well. Just be sure to empty cabinets and under sinks before getting started to ensure you can treat all the cracks and crevices inside kitchen and bathroom cabinets
