As someone growing an Etsy Shop you're an inspiration by having a great approach on every aspects of it + the quality/effort you put into these topics Well done man, keep posting!
Came here because someone told me you featured my shop as a "million dollar Etsy shop".. Nice surprise BUT NOPES the old shop only nets around $50K after cost, fees, taxes etc.. You are 900% OFF.. I'm lucky to maintain a 10% profit on Etsy now... I think it's a disservice to implant a bogus, unrealistic 'million dollar number' in the minds of upstarts... Stop doing it Thanx.
I don't know which store yours is in the video, but thank you for the transparency and apologies for my incorrect estimation! It was not my intention to imply that every Etsy seller can reach a million dollars (most won't tbh). However, there are definitely million dollar, or at least profitable, stores on Etsy that offer lessons to be learned. Just sharing my observations!
This is terrible advice. There are people with 1 listing who gets lots of sales. It depends on the quality of the listing, not the quantity. So many Etsy Gurus trying to make it a super easy method to make money, when in reality it takes good work to reach success. I doubt that the listings you place will make long-term or repeat customers if you are posting everyday without placing hard work on those products. It’s like buying lottery tickets everyday and hoping to win a sale. It’s better to do your research, see if there’s demand for the product, and then make your product collection for that specific niche of people. Those people will return for more when they see the quality and time placed on the product.
Definitely! Quality first before quantity. A bad product will not get sales no matter how many listings. From what I gathered, million dollar Etsy stores create several listings when they have a good product, and want to increase its reach and visibility. It's an alternative to Etsy Ads.
