So glad I found your you tube channel. You are very informative and love the fact that you’re my age! The chopped salad has worked wonders for me, down 7 lbs I less than 2 weeks!

Thank you for your videos. I wanted to ask how long it took for your tastebuds to change. Did you like the food right from the beginning? I really dislike brown rice (after forcing myself to eat it since my 20's and I'm now 44, I still dislike brown rice), I don't like steamed veggies...How was your transition to WFPB in regards to flavors and textures?

I loved the food from the start! But some people don’t and it takes a few months to adapt. You don’t have to like brown rice try other grains and find ones that you like.

I do a meal or two this way but can't seem to do the whole day. I have no problem giving up meat. It's the junk foods I have problems with and snacking.

Hi Margaret, Don't worry, as you persist and progress in this lifestyle, your taste buds will change ~ Tami says neuro- adapt~ and you will actually begin to dislike the typical sugary, oily or salty foods that harm our bodies. Also, I have found that continually educating myself, mostly through RU-vid videos because I can listen while cooking or working around the house in the evening or on weekends will strengthen my resolve to eat healthfully. The plant based doctors videos have made all the difference to me because they are science based and I am reminded why I am eating like this. Now, my mind and my tastebuds won't let me go back to the old lifestyle. I wish you all the best in your transition to this healthy lifestyle!

Absolutely LOVE your videos! You mentioned something about YO-YO dieting and that you personally have to eat 25% less calories than someone who hadn’t YO-YOed. Where can I read more about that? I have that problem too! It made sense to me why I’m struggling with my weight.
