Why when I have a chance to beat the struggle regardless of the situation either you struggle all your life or you struggle making sacrifices for a greater gain
I like all your videos my friend and I was wondering, if you could do a video about the skates you prefer and all the main tools you have in your box and use the most for different kind of towings
Thanks for the video. The question I cannot find the answer to is: 1- Can I, as a tourist, buy a vehicle through a broker? 2- When purchased through a broker, for example, when the vehicle is brought to the address I specified, does the intermediary company deliver the vehicle to me with a "clean title"?
I like the videos. I see you around from time to time. I wanted to try and catch up with you at a fuel stop to meet you and chat. I have my own business in Manchester. But I do runs in Elizabethtown and Hummelstown. Was thinking about doing some runs for Copart in the future. Hope to see you and meet you soon. Thanks for the info you put out on the videos.
Couple comments and questions......i literally just signed up with copart. I use a 2 car flat bed gooseneck. I know copart isn't a get rich gig but figured it should pay enough to support the flow of the start up. In the mean time I'm gonna get iaai as well and haul for local Menards. I know your pay scale is secret but can a guy gross 600-800 daily on average? This will be a second business for me and will have a 20/hr employee.
Truthfully I wouldn’t know if you could make that much daily through Copart, every locations pay rate is very different from each other. The most I can say is I wasn’t able to make that much daily. Not even close.
"they need drivers" yeah, right there tells you how bad the turn around is with sub haulers for Copart. The extremely low barrier to entry of this industry only enables Copart to pay sub haulers less than wholesale rates. Piece of advise, there's more to owning a tow truck than just paying for your fuel and the trucks note every month.
Does Copart have any specific requirements for rollbacks? Certain years or specific equipment needed, is a DPF systems required ? My truck is a 2000 but is in great condition.
Sorry to hear that, bro. It is not the easiest business to get into right away. You also have options to work with insurance companies, but hang on there.
What do mean by wheel lift i have never seen that on a trailer? Edit i just realized your talking about an actual tow truck with a flat bed not a pickup truck with a trailer?
I’m sure you can lease a truck no problem. My only concern is if you are just starting out You have to almost make sure you can guarantee make the full amount of the payment insurance and obviously your own personal stuff. Do your research that’s what I recommend.
ok so whats your quota for the day? that will help alot understand if its really worth it i know 6 cars can very because of zones but out of all the videos ive watched on this. no one actually says you almost did but that is the information that i think is needed to truly understand if its worth it
Please tell which company you get your Insurance and how much per month payment Really appreciate Im planning to start towing business but very difficult to find tow insurance quote
how much to tow a car off the North Billerica, Massachusetts 01862 lot, a few miles? also how much from North Billerica, Massachusetts 01862 to fort smith,AR 72908.?
I had a buddy of mine that had a V 10 with 260,000 miles it was the original engine and transmission. So if the vehicle is in good shape I would take it to a mechanic for a second opinion before you make that purchase
You don't even have to do this. They have a a Truck In a Box program. If you start an llc, they will provide the truck and help finance it. You make your own hours etc.
can you elaborate on this? There is an option to directly sign on with them, without owning a truck personally? What does the pay look like for an average going this route?
Unfortunately that is a question for Copart. Me personally I would say no due to the a comfortability of some of the places to pick up. For example you get residential areas and some of the smaller commercial mom and pop places are very difficult to get into.
Never work for copart, there’s only one way to make money with copart, and that’s selling cars in their auctions and using their cheap ass towing companies to haul them
I’m a CDL a driver by trade I was making a little under 100 K a year . I was never home so that’s why I stopped doing that. Now I make about 150k a year and only work about 4 to 5 hours a day and no I no longer do Copart
@@towtrucktherapy448 yeah that's what I currently do is drive trucks over the road I was looking into getting a tow truck but I don't have no contracts to start with so pretty much it's going to be a hustle they say stay away from cold parts and Iaa cuz they don't pay nothing but how do you even get money without contracts towing that's my thing the rates for trucking is crazy they don't pay nothing and then diesel too
@@youngchirp12 These are all excellent questions. I’ll be posting more videos on this topic for sure. Best thing I could say is you got to get your name out there. Copart is just to get started to keep income coming in while you’re looking to build your business. For example making sure you’re on Google, yelp and Facebook at the very least
