I truly like using Light Elegance especially the glitter gel and the buttercreams this builder gel is a lot to absorb. I'll keep trying to get it sunk into my brain!! Thank you for doing such a great video!!

Celina, So happy LE found you! I remember WAYyyyyy back when they started producing Super Shiny! They would put it in small brown bottles with handwritten labels and I had the opportunity to try it out! I've been using it ever since! Hopefully I will make it to a class you teach someday soon. I wish you did it online I took an course for a year of gel I am very good at sculpting I have perfected everything but I quit because I was treated poorly if you teach I'd love to take it too get certified.

I heard that primers work as making litle tiny holes in the nail service for a good grip. Like if they fall on your clothes your xlothes also will be ruined and get holes. I heard that it isnt aloud anymore. And that only bonds are still alloud. How does the LE primer works?? Lovee your work and thinking of trying some stuff!

that's acid primer.. it chemically etches the nail bed for adhesion. you're supposed to use acid-free primer.

Can you do a baby boomer using this system? I can't use acrylic because the smell of the monomer causes me to get super light headed and sometimes even pass out. So I can only use gel. But I have yet to find a good technique for baby boomers using gel.

That's correct. If you are using the color or glitter gels from light Elegance over acrylics, use tack Bonding agent on the surface of the nail and cure it.

Shellie Farrell just like any other gel company, they always recommend curing with their own UV or LED lamp. you can cure LE products with any LED/UV lamp. the LE 'Lexy' gels are both UV and LED curable

I had a full set with extensions and all of them broke in half in less than a week. Is it the product or the application? The nails were flat and thin, only as thick as 5 coats of gel polish. I am not hard on my nails, one broke while putting on pantyhose! I liked the product, but if this is how it performs I will pass.

At my distributor, it says builder DOES NOT self level. I’m on the hunt for the perfect builder that self levels verrrryyyy slow! My salon is crazy hot so gels run. Fibre is was too viscous. Will builder self level a bit or not at all? Anyone know?

If you go to the light elegance video where they talk about the clear gels, they say builder does not self level. Extreme would probably be the one you're looking for. But I would call them and have them send you samples of both. I've worked in hot salons before and it definitely changes the viscosity of products. I dont have enough experience with LE to tell you for sure but just give them a call!

Mary Mccorison Light Elegance is a professional brand and that's why it's only available for professionals. You need to have gone through training to be able to use the products to make sure that you are using the products correctly and to make sure that you won't damage or hurt your client or yourself.

You such a lovely person to listen too and I've been a nail tech for over 20yrs but always used acrylic but I've been look to try gel and was looking into lots of system I love the sound of LE but I live away out on an island on west coast Scotland and lots company's will not send to me as they say it cost to much, could you help me to contract owners to see if they would send there items to where I live, I also myself needing to change from acr li as after have treatment for cancer I've found am taking elegiac reaction to my acrylic and have tried few different products but I think it due to the chemotherapy my hormones have changed I hate been with out nails if you could help I'd be so great full, kinds thank sweetie, wish you all the best for 2017 xx💅🏼💕🙏🏻 Tina

Thank you for the information...I appreciate all of your information but will completely disagree with the support from this company. My classes I took were poor and very expensive and support since then is more of ignoring me than help. How can I say this... I have emailed and responded and reached out and all I have gotten on the other side, "crickets". I have invested completely in this line of product and I am trying so hard to learn how to use it better but continue to have issues with it. Is it my process? Most likely...that is a reason I keep asking for help. I know your the new instructor and that is awesome...but what about the person who paid all the money for the other classes with the last instructor and got zilch? I think the online classes should be available for those who have already paid for and attended the classes prior to the online option. Wouldn't it be great support for ongoing education along with refreshing the little things we learn along the way? I know your best advertising is a referral. Light Elegance should be so much better at support than what I have experienced. I will be the squeaky wheel as no one seems to care about supporting me with my product and my education that has been exclusively purchased from Light Elegance.
