I wouldn't say that is the cheapest way nor is it even legal. You can't use OEM keys they are for manufacturers. Only Retail keys are legal if your not a manufacturer. Digital Chill Mart is where I went. Always am given a retail key from them.

I have an old first gen lenovo yoga. It had windows 7 or 8 on it but when I upgraded it legally to 10 home, it erased my key. I no longer have the sticker. I've been using it without being activated for years. Any idea how I can find the key from within my laptop software?

the cool thing about windows 11 is they now have made the free trial permanent. you just can't use and custom theme or wallpaper and will have a activate windows watermark and a small activate windows notification in windows personalization settings.

Hey man! All your info on your channel has been great for new build. Used your affiliate links and got a bunch of parts you reccomended along with windows. Question...My 14900k runs idle at 29-32 degrees with luquid freeze 420, in Cinebech, it hits 100 degrees and throttles while hitting like 325v. Should I down volt the cpu, and do you have a video on this? Thanks for all your info!

As a note, that you didn't make, any key for windows 7, 8, or 8.1 will also activate windows 10. It was part of the windows 10 upgrade program. So you don't have to search for windows 10 keys you can search for any of those and use the best price you can find.

They are selling you a Volume License/Educational License. Not a retail License. It just means that key could stop working at any given time.

@@floorcat7985 you should not. jk, you can buy a genuine retail key from microsoft for absurd amounts($150-200). Buying from any other place is a gamble in imo, they might work for a week, a month, a year or maybe forever but that's just luck as these websites don't actually sell retail keys but some whole bunch of different types of product keys (you don't even wanna know how many different types of product keys exist to activate windows). I got frustrated when looking for a genuine retail key other than from microsoft, ended up using unactivated windows.

You can do a command line activation, and get Windows 11 PRO for free. You can do the same with Office 2021. 😁

I should probably add that it was a fresh installation of Win 10 immediately upgraded to Win 11, and then activated with a Win 10 key. So a Win 10 key might not work for a fresh Win 11 installation. Please if anyone tries it, let me know.

*Fianlly got windows 11 from ikeyzone* I like some of the transitions, but sometimes they're a bit too much and are seemingly random. Since we use these persistent elements that transition across pages to indicate some kind of relationship between the previous and the next states, some of your transitions confuse me because I can't immediately see what the relationship is. For example 2:23 of the selectable tiles (which weren't selected) transition into being two switches... does that mean anything? are they related in some way? I see this as random and a bad use of the design language. However, at 1:14 I like the transition from switches to the ticks on a paper, that makes sense to me. Epic presentation tho

This still works. The 30% off code TN20 still works. Paid $17.61 USD. I went from 11 Home to 11 Pro using a Windows 10 Pro Key. If you get an error that the code entered is incorrect, contact customer support. They will supply you with a key that will give you the start to upgrade Windows prompt. Once the system restarts, you will have 11 Pro, but your version of Windows is not activated. Click on change key, enter the key you purchased, and Windows will be activated.

Always rather get retail. You can transfer a retail key to a new pc, or if you swap out your motherboard. You can't do this with oem.
