Thanks for the info dude. I'll be building my first PC very soon, and I'm glad I found this. This is the only tutorial I've understood. Very quick, concise, and straight to the point. Thanks!
These are available to purchase actually from authorized Microsoft sources. Ony disadvantage is you will receive a w11 build months old that requires a ton of updates and by making your own USB which literally takes only a few minutes you get a much more up to date version to begin with. Not to mention with the DIY usb you can then purchase a legit working activation license key from multiple resellers for a fraction of the cost than a retail Microsoft key purchase.
Finally someone who told you what the hell the USB NEEDS, everyone just kept saying you’ll need one with 8gigs and that’s it! 6 minute videos and I know more than I did before THANK YOU BOSS
cheers mate. just been sat at my new pc for 2 hours tryna figure out how to get off the bios, this is the only video i have seen that’s actually in depth and helps 👍
Thanks friend! Just built my first computer just now and I was getting blue screens when trying to install Windows. I didn’t even think about removing my secondary drive but lo and behold it worked!
My ssd with windows failed and i wasnt sure how to set up the new one and this made it easy. Thanks for referring to people that had a prior windows key, fr the only vid i found that actually talked about that.
ATT: if you're getting BSOD or boot loops when trying to install Windows, do what he says in the video and pull the power from any other hard drives. This was causing me headaches until i did this. Windows was installing the MBR on one of my other SSDs for some reason and didnt like them all being connected while installing
@@hot-blizzard-lol7558 Ssd makes everything faster especially nvme ssd. If you have hdd loading big games like gta v might take around 2-3minutes to load if your hdd is good and with an ssd around 20-30 seconds. Also booting up and shutting down pc will take like 10 seconds with nvme ssd
Just built a PC with Ryzen 5700X and RTX 3070 ti. This video was to the point regarding the OS installation, a big thank you!! Btw, I am upgrading from an i5 4460 and Radeon RX 470, so the upgrade is huge for me 😍
@@nickmandantes5084 Actually I built a new pc from scratch. I used Asus Rog Strix B550 which is Windows 11 ready. I don't remember enabling the tpm in bios.
Excellent video! I tried a few different step by step guides from reputable sources that did not work. Struggled for almost 2 hours before I ran across your video. You helped me save the rest of my sanity. :-) Thanks again!
@@naturalvision4065 You need another pc to download the file onto the usb but you can download it from a laptop or computer from your local library if necessary
I was literally just going to search this up because I was considering upgrading to windows 11 and here you are coming in clutch with another helpful banger!
The website he suggests for Windows keys sent me a code that had already been redeemed. However, I emailed them and they sent me a new working one. Just thought it was worth mentioning.
This was a solid informative video no wonder it has over a million views, there are other channels that give you a roundabout or make you sit through a lot of unrelated information. This is the first time that somebody directly said you can have Windows for free with the watermark then remove it later. The video is 2y old however if the sponsor is still available that is where I will be going for the key👍🏼
hey Bruv this video is godly you explained everything perfectly and even added all the extra information that woudn't have been needed but was anyways super helpfull
This info is so useful. I will be getting my pre-built pc soon and I have less knowledge of what to do after getting them such as how to install windows
Tbh that was the best actual video on how to do this than any other, I spent about 6 hours trying to search for good videos as I had gotten a new PC, so thank you so much.
Very helpful thanks mate. Broke my hard drive when I punched the side of my pc and last backup for 3 months ago 😭😭 this helped explain everything I needed 👍
This man just saved my life!!! I Had a problem w/ my pc so I decided to restart the whole thing, Little did I knew that it was going to be a really bad decision since the thing was restarting a bunch of times by it self and the instalation could not progress because of this (stuck between 62% and 89%). So I decided to go onto the Bios and delete the booting sistem (I believe that's how it's called) to my surprise once I did that the thing would not even boot at all and sended me straight to the Bios. So in my head I had thought "if I remove it, can I put a New one?", did some research and yes it was possible so now what I had left to do was find I good video that Explaind really well but at the same time was simple. I do not lie when I say I FOUND THIS VIDEO AT THE END OF THE LIST I had to scroll like 10-15 minutes but I the end It was worth the Try. Really glad that this worked cuz It was going to be my last ettempt to put W11 in the PC and I was going to take it to the repair shop. Thanks
Thank you so much! Very clean and straight to the point presentation, tired of these BS youtubers taking 15 minutes and adding so much other jargon and overcomplication
Save yourself some trouble and make sure you write down exactly what your license was for windows 10. If you have windows 10 home, you must install windows 11 home or you will get a “ not registered “ error. Currently trying to solve it myself
Wait, so my windows 10 home license on my old computer will carry over to a windows 11 home license on my new computer completely free? That's awesome, though it feels a bit too good to be true
thank you, my last nvme just failed on me and i got a new one and my last one is from a pre-built so i didn't have to do much and now i have to put a new nvme and install windows on it so thank you this is very helpful!
I decided to look at a video like this, as even though this isn’t my first build, it is my first top of the line build, first all AMD build, and my first time installing Windows myself. My build is getting a Ryzen 7 7800x3D and a Sapphire Tech Nitro+ RX 7900 XTX for the primary components. As this will be my first time installing Windows myself, I figured it’d be a really good idea to see how a fresh installation is done. My best build not including my RTX 2070 laptop beforehand had an i5 4570, 16GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM, and a Sapphire Tech RX 470 4GB. A very competent 1080p build.
Soooo. What exactly does getting a product key do? Does it allow more capabilities in the computer? Can you play games without it? What about installing stuff without it? Does it have ads?
Some PC's don't require you to press F10 to go into the BIOS. You can instead press F9 to directly choose from what source you want to boot it. I experienced this on the HP Victus 15 desktop PC
I just hit Subscribe...because.... I'm an old Desktop Tech (think Win 98!) This was great. Not a question left unanswered and not a word wasted. Well done!
Big props for thinking ahead with the whole key business. watching this in 2023 now we can buy the Win 11 keys same as we did for 10 so it helps that you didn't present an outdated solution
@@JohnSmith-yr6je there's a free and a paid version for Win 11 same as 10. The difference is minor when it's for personal use. They'll restrict your ability to change your wallpaper for example but no major utility restrictions. In fact Win 11 is much more optimized in terms of OS and makes gaming slightly smoother
