ABOUT THE DEEPEST INHALE: Ever feel like you're taken your deepest inhale, but it's not quite deep enough? The chances are you are missing a very simple part of the inhale flow which will completely transform your final inhale. Here I show you how. www.discoveryourdepths.com/newsletter.
For freedivers the final inhale is utterly crucial and, if, like so many other freedivers out there, you feel like you're missing a bit, it can become a cause of stress before your dive. Even if you think you're getting it right, this small change could be what you didn't even know you were looking for.
This technique to enhance your inhale is important for health as well as freediving - re-learning the correct inhale flow and all breathing techniques can transform our health, happiness, state of mind and overall well-being.
ABOUT SARA CAMPBELL : Sara is four-times World Record holding deep freediver, and currently the deepest woman in the world with a dive to 104m on one breath. She is the founder of the Discover Your Depths training philosophy, has been teaching Kundalini Yoga for over twelve years and lives in Dahab, Egypt.

CAUTION : As with all of my videos, if you're going in the water, make sure you have a recognised freediving certification first, and NEVER DIVE ALONE. Have fun guys, and keep your training safe and conservative.

Hi Sara! I really loved your video:) I tried a lot of techniques, Co2 and O2 tables, but you can explain these very complicated things in so easy way, that everyone can understand and remake it :) Thanks a lot and good luck for the future Peter :)

The awareness advice (door, phone, water) is as simple as brilliant, is like a super positive OCD :D Love it, thank you Sara.

Thank you Sara for another good video about mixing yoga and freediving. Lets continue our talk about yoga, freediving and drumming on a tabla or a frame drum. What type of meditation do you use during the breath hold. Where is your focus/attention. I use drumming as a "dry training". I have wrote several compositing s with different timing from 1 min up to 4 min. So I have a very good instrument for working with mind calming. I use metronome for bit rate pulsing, so I have to play composition according to the exact tempo. And as you know when we are at the end of our kumbhaka the mind starts hurrying up and you can hear/watch this effect cos sometimes you are falling out of metronome tempo. So you should be focused on the correct playing of composition and staying calm at the same time. Also I have a compositing for quad circle pranayama. Inhale / kumbhaka / exhail / kumbhaka/ So its perfect for playing in four! :-))) so when I'm diving I am full of rhythm and I dont need to count .... I am playing ..... like Bruce Willis in "Hudson hawk" :-) You can try also! We can make even like an art project "diving video mixed with darbuka playing compositing". Both (diver and player) need a time to focus and prepare and then take a deep breath and dive into inner world/ocean and follow the rhythm line. The middle as a culmination and then coda as a way back to a new breath.

+Denys Vasylyev HI again Denys - I'm happy to hear from you again, and to continue this discussion. I love that you mirror the activity of the mind with the tempo of the drumming - I can see that this is a very effective tool for awareness into the changing mental state as the breath hold progresses. You can email me at smile@discoveryourdepths.com to continue this chat offline. I look forward to it, With love x Sara

Great video. It would be great if you can do a video that talks about mind techniques, deconcentration etc. And another subject: breath hold stages, and techniques you use to keep holding your breath while having contractions.

+Sara Campbell Amen. Freediving is the most beautiful and awesome livestyle EVER!!!! Even though equalisation is nearly impossible for me.... So I will stick to time....
@saracampbell9999
@saracampbell9999 8 лет назад
+Gina dawn Gina - there are only VERY few people for whom equalisation is not possible due to physiology. Most people suffer difficulties due to stress and a lack of technique and practice, patience and a good teacher should be able to help you - if you feel you want to work on it. Otherwise, time and distance are also fun :-) Enjoy xxx Sara

+Sara Campbell yeah I know, but it is so hard to find a teacher in the black forest, south germany and a place to practice. yes time is my favourite! I think it is extremely underrated... thanks for your advice, another thing I love about freediving!
