it all starts with the vehicle a person is driving and tones of research on your vehicle no matter what it is. That is how I started off as a rookie in this hobby before I started to buy any car audio equipment.
😂😂😂, "what can you expect?" Love it. In my experience people always want more than they pay for. Perfect example is the guy walks in with 300 dollar shoes but complains about the price of a quality tattoo. I live by the saying you get what you pay for.
I have a great question. Class A/B amp vs class D on highs. Is it a huge sound quality difference and what speakers would you pair that you sell for highs❓❓
Hey jp, I am building a 8-18 windy monster, u would love to run your amps and 4ch's I have enough electrical to keep up about 45k watts, I am in NC and go to 10-15 shows a year would love to be team d4s, I just took out my 6-18 build
I'd say jp23 at 1 ohm and under power it a bit. Would sit you comfortably within the rms and peak range. Or you could do 2 ohms at 1300w which would be even more safe.
Will my jp23v1.5 run 2 sundown sa classic v2s or should i just go with the sa classic ....have good electrical....upgraded alt ..big 3 o guage ......everything grounded to frame ... and going to add an agm ....
v2's.. youll be fine.. they are better woofers... may want to consider adding a ground from amp, to alternator mounting bolt.. grounding directly to alternator, is the best way.. bypass factory grounds from other componants of the car... keep your frame grounds, just add another alt ground.. use a distribution block if neccessary.. that amp will surely have enough balls to power 2 sav2's...
d4s sells the lithium lto 6.0 battery.. you may want to consider supplementing your new agm with that specific lithium battery... if you have money to spend, instead of dropping $300+ on an agm, and 400 on a supplement lithium, take that 700, and build your own lithium bank, and delete the under hood battery all together... jmo
i have a similar setup.. i went with 2 u series 15s on a taramps smart3bass... 240amp alt, all copper runs, grounds everywhere, on a x2power agm, and a d4s lto 6.0.. it gets down pretty well.. i out bump everyone i encounter on the streets... its actually breaking apart my 4runner... anyways, ill leave you alone now, lol.. 👍✌️
So Mr Jp i have a question i have a 2021kia soul s and they don't sell high output alternators for this vehicle because it has a smart alternator meaning the ecm tells the alternator when to charge the battery it will never stay at 14.4 volts maybe if i keep my headlights turned on the only thing I'm doing right now is running multiple batteries for reserve the stock alternator is 150 amps what is your suggestion
@stevemaniaci4750 Right now I'm running a Taramps bass 8k with 400 hrs of reserve and at full tilt before clipping I have a voltage drop of .5 volts this is for daily use my head unit is stock which is probably 2.5 volts amplifier doesn't even get warm
You sell the weak beta male car.... Obviously... And buy a man's car with a v8 and a 6 speed manual trans or get a truck that way u don't have the little kids in the neighborhood making fun of the ghey guy in his sissy car and u fix your alternator issue
