Winter gloves that aren’t too bulky; try the 100 Percent Brisker. Not waterproof or super insulated, but they do the job in most UK conditions.

Where I live its not only the cold but also the mud. It becomes a bog & so Zwift it is throughout wintertime

Top 5 winter spots: Chicksands in part. Some bits get completely flooded. Bikepark wales runs same no matter what. Stile cop dh runs Hemlock stone for the local Donnie’s Skatepark.

To keep warm in winter, you first and foremost need to keep your extremities warm: feet, hands ánd head. Your arm, feet and torso will be warm from the biking itself. If you suffer from cold feet or hands, first try using a buff, or a liner like roadies do, underneath your helmet. Maybe that's not necessary with ff helmets. That will keep your hands and feet a bit warmer. If you still have cold feet or hands; than you need to use more insulated gloves or socks, maybe even waterproofs.

I can’t even be bothered to wash my bike and now I have to hand wash my trousers 🤣 just kidding, a good pair of trousers are with looking after 🫡

My top tips is to snowboard instead. If not wear extra thick socks so your feet don’t feel like they are going to fall off 😅

Don't buy kit that doesn't fit. Them gloves are hanging on you, how can you have any confidence when grabbing a hand full of front brake? A big fan of Endura hummvee plus 2 gloves purely because of the fit, summer glove only. One of the few BIKE specific products i use. Rab, Mountain Equipment, Montane would be my 3 favs. Waterproof gloves and socks there is only one brand worth a look, that is Sealskinz. Never wear waterproof socks with waterproof shoes, its like double denim only worse. Waterproof jacket should be s shell, be as light and as squishable as possible.
