I think its easier to run along the beach for pal fluids at night, everythings sleeping and a crossbow generally one shots because sleep damage multiplier is like 2x for the hit. Also, once you reach the point you can kill lv 20 pals, you can go north, theres a sandy shoal area near the Warsect mini boss teleporter and its crawling with trios of Gobfins. If youre on a server you have access to changing the rates, increase the spawn rate to 3x if you can handle it but even 2x is a lot more effort. World bosses and boss dungeons like penking spawn in sets or max 3 for 3x appearance rate.

There is a teleport location on a beach where gobfins spawn in groups of three. Take an lightning pal (Orserk for bonus drops) and just run the beach in a circle and you'll have a higher output since they respawn quick and are the only pals there

if you go at night, they sleeping. so you one shot em anyways
