I've been natural for two and a half years now, and it's only just recently since my cousin recommended your channel, that I've really learned to work with my hair and style it and not fear it. Thank you for making natural hair care so accessible and possible. I was literally lost before your channel and I've looked at what seems like a hundred different natural hair channels and websites. So exhausting and frustrating at times. So thank you for your videos!!

You, my friend, are a God send. So there I was, tired of looking ragedy after I work out with my straight hair. Then I see you with all these options that don't involve heat and I'm like 🙌😄. Thanks for being thorough and awesome cause I'm trying to figure this whole hair thing out. Woo!

Your hair is absolutely gorgeous. I just started my journey of going natural about a month ago. I have worn a weave for at least the last 20 years and at this stage in my life I am falling in love with what God gave me :) Your videos are not only educating, but also very personable and cute :) I am a new subscriber and watch at least 2 of your videos nightly when I am trying to decide what to do with my hair (twist out, curl formers, flexi Rods etc...). Thanks for producing such great videos. You have a fan for life!!!

I started growing my hair natural since last weekend. I have been inspired by my mother who followed your videos to grow my own hair. I'm tired of perms, single braids (only in the winter to protect my hair) and weaves. I'm going to try your twist method and your fluffy coccon curls and I'll send pics to you. Thanks, Naptural85!!

Your hair is GORGEOUS. Thick, dark, and healthy. So beautiful. I'm part African-American and have curly, thick, and kind of coarse hair. I cut it short a few years ago and while I love my hair's length, in the future, I'm thinking of letting it grow out...I'm subscribing to your channel and will try to pick up some tips for longer, natural hair. This was a great vid!

You are trying the Greatest! I have used your techniques and they have worked flawlessly. I just put up a video on how to style twists out that just did not come out right because I did not twist one side as well as the other. I love that you give us newbies such good advice on how to style and maintain our hair. Thanks again!

I tried the twist out method you use (adding hair to twist, spritz with aloe vera juice, sealed with oils and then used let's jam custard) and I was so pleased with the results. I left mine in the bantu knots. Woo hoo, so pretty! THANKS! BTW, I love your videos!

I have just started watching these videos and I love them! I've been transitioning for a year and a half and once I got comfortable with the length, I did my BC. Fully natural for 3 months now and loving it. And whoever that Eva Wellman is, do the world a favor; GROW UP!!!! And i agree with Ms TrickyTrinket you're just jealous.

@wisdomstree8412 8 лет назад
1. Every week to 2 weeks rotate protective styles and wearing it out 2. Try to stretch out your wash days as much as possible 3. Every night spritz your hair with a little bit of water and sleep with a shower cap to lock in moisture 4. Get a trim as soon as you see thin ends/ you see single strand knots or split ends everywhere 5. deep condition overnight Literally this is everything i did... along with low manipulation which is hard for me because i love to touch and do my hair lol hope this helps because it sure helped me

My hair is the length of yours and today I finally got tired of the twist out look due to all the tangles, so I flat-ironed it. But after watching this video, I'm going to try twisting my hair the way you demonstrated. This is the first video of yours I've ever seen and I love that you decided to narrate rather than talk during the video. It definitely made watching it more enjoyable. I look forward to watching the rest of your videos. Thanks!

@@LudnieGilberteLeger look into the l.o.c method. It's where you put a thin layer of oil and then cream over wet hair from washing or from spraying with a liquidy leave-in conditioner. It helps keep the moisture locked in longer.

Oh wow I tried this method last night and I am so pleased with the results...my hair is transitioning but even my relaxed part of my hair looked great....I used a combo of water, cantu shea butter curl activator and cantu twist and lock gel and the combination gave me a great wave pattern in my hair and hold. To top it off my hair was nice and stretched. Thank you so much for sharing this technique.

This has become my new twist out method and I really like it. Lord knows why I used to spend ages on individual twists for a twist out when I can do this in half the time. I get a lot more body from this method and a more stretched out look. I've been natural my whole life but there's always room for new ideas and you've provided a lot that reduce the time I spend doing my hair. Cheers!

I've been relaxed majority of my life...I about 10 months ago i began stretching my relaxer with braid-outs and flexi rid braids out and then transitioned to yarn braids. I maintained the yarn braid style for an average of 4-5 mos and receive a mild relaxer at the end of June. Needless to say, though I am mostly relaxed. ...THIS A WONDERFUL AND DESCRIPTIVE TUTORIAL!
@latia4u
@latia4u 11 лет назад
clicked. I (both me and my natural friend) had assumed that i/we could not do it because the texture of my/our hair was slightly different and it just made me look like a frizz ball. But it was because i was flat twisting. People need to know that they can do this, it may just be a matter of stop thinking like a flat twist and separate the sections fully. Take the credit Whitney you invented a new way of twisting. Thanks Queen!

I am rocking the twists pinned up as a protective and instead of pinning up the first row closest to the hairline, I have left them in bantu knots so in the morning, to complete the style i just unravel the bantus to form 2 cute little ringlets either side of my face and a nice head scarf bow. Will take down for the intended style (best twist out) after a day or two!!! Many thanks for your inspiration!!

Naptural85 I just wanted to say thank you for this video! I have fine hair & two strand twist leaves my head looking scalpy. Regular braidouts (not your method) gave me better results. But this method in the video is AWESOME for my hair!! I want to try your braidout method but I'm not 100% comfy with the technique yet. I stretched my hair using Conair Heated Rollers. It was perfect & fast. Thanx again!
