Once you warp into a system with one of these if your game autosaves. You can just follow the step above. Check the class. Reload your save and try again until it is. It's a lot faster.
But you miss out on the profit of Nanites and Units. Plus the auto save is unreliable, since your ship and the game could change it at any moment. Why stop and restore when you are guaranteed a freighter or two every 10 minutes? That’s free money in game for 2-3 minutes of work plus an S Class if you’re lucky. But if you’re not in it for the profit and just want an S class ship then that’s a different story.
@@AziwrathGamingYou have a point IF you need credits and nanites, but for the veteran players out there, 6-7m credits + 440 nanites is pocket change (and there are far better ways to farm credits/nanites). If you're simply trying to farm the S-class as efficiently as possible, reloading the autosave is the fastest option. The autosave is created the moment you exit your ship while docked to scan the freighter class. I can confirm that reloading that autosave does in fact reroll the RNG.
This method worked for me first 3 times and does not work anymore for some reason....after landing inside the dreadnought, I load the autosave and the dreadnought is gone, no battle, Just a calm space as usual
@@freudegger This method works more efficiently without auto saving. Don’t auto save, just keep jumping and wait during those 10 min for another pirate freighter encounter.

I can confirm this still works as OP stated in his video. At least the frequency of pirate dreadnought battle spawns go. Have yet to see an S class Dreadnought, but I've only done the 3 pirate system shuffle about 3 times in a row, with a 20 min cooldown in between. I also was able to encounter two pirate dreadnought battles in a row on two of the 3x3 system warps
Yesterday I picked two different Gek systems that are pirate controlled. Not far from each other. Then warped back and forth from each one until I found an s class, took a couple of hours but I finally got it.
ive been warping from pirate system to pirate system for about 6 hrs now. i have gone to at least 20 different systems, but still no freighters. what am I doing wrong?

Sorry I was a bit mad there but I was just doing my normal thing when the dreadnought spawned so I had no clue what to do so when I was done I found this video so I tried to claim it but I didnt know that it taking the money when I saw you do it
There are systems that spawn guaranteed pirate freighter battles when you warp into them. Just find two adjacent and warp from one to the other with a battle every time.
I have actually found three pirate systems within warp distance of one another that each spawns a dreadnaught, and have been able to hop from one to the next, and each time the dreadnaught would spawn.
Doesn’t work every game session. I tested this using two Pirate systems to maximize the output of Pirate freighters but no dice. I have a livestream of the whole process and tests if you’re interested in watching.
I flew into my FIRST Pirate solar system and got Dreadnaught straight off! Been in battle with it for several hours and many reloads to get the 'S' class! I have a FULLY MAXED sentinel fighter and it just EATS that freighter with no damage.
Great vid, thanks. I prefer the look of the regular system freighters and I'm not too concerned about stats, so I'll just use this to farm nanites & cash from the pirate dreadnoughts.
Do you need to own another freighter in order to get the pirate freighter encounter to spawn, or can you use your method to get the pirate freighter as your first freighter? Can this encounter be done using your starter fighter or is it better to upgrade your starship first? If you do own a freighter already, I assume that you need to strip that down of upgrades and cargo before doing this pirate encounter so that you don't lose anything in the transfer?
Yes to the first question. Upgrade your stater ship, its weapons, and shields cause you’re going to take some hits. Everything in your Freighter will be transferred over to the new one, but take out the upgrades just in case.
My understanding of this, from reading posts that data miners have shared, is that your chances of finding a pirate dreadnought ship are 100% if the system itself has spawns, but your odds of selecting one is roughly 1 in 5 due to the sheer amount of pirate systems out there. Therefore, a pirate system that doesn't spawn a dreadnought will never spawn one, and ones that do will always do so. So warping away and back to the same place should work in theory, but also I've heard that the class of the freighter is set to that system as well. Not sure if that's true or not though. I'm testing it rn.
EDIT: I confirmed the first half at least. I jumped away from the system and back and every time so far it's been a dreadnought. Now testing for if the rank is the same or if you can farm that pirate system for an s class
Rank was the same. S-class every time in that system, and the ship's name was the same as well. There must be an additional seed on top of the appearance seed that determines this based on what world you jump to.
best part is not only is it easier and more smooth to end the battle now, But u can Buy Either the Capital Freighter or the pirate one! 2 choices is great!

@@sethsgamingandstuff I have had mine for months, it is not an issue. If you are on console, back up your save before you get the Pirate Freighter, if on PC, do the same by copying your files and putting them on a USB.
Yes, there will be a prompt that comes up asking you if you would like to transfer your Freighter base from the old Freighter to the new one. Click yes lol.

This doesn't really help when you're looking for a specific race Dreadnought admittedly. So if you want a Gek/Korvax/Vykeen freighter specifically it's best to create a restore point, jump into the sought after system, find the dreadnought, fight it as Azi explains, if it's not an S class, reload the autosave and try again. It can get a bit grindy at times, I think I personally reloaded 50 or so times, but it really is the most guaranteed way to get the S-class species specific freighter you want. If you don't care which species is running the freighter, this is probably the best method shown otherwise lol.
There is a cooldown time, 10- 20 minute wait guaranteed. Warping back and forth from the same system doesn’t work. I tested it in a livestream, not reliable.

I just finished over 60 runs with the method for just warping out to the nearest system and then right back to the Dreadnought fight. go 2 full sets of S class mods for the freighter. I wish that I could post a video but my system is way to slow for that. Please feel free to message me directly
You can get it to loop if you just leave the system and come back without talking to the captain makes s hunting easier and a bonus is if you hunt a second spawn you just jump from between the two and bam free tier hunting sadly I only see c-a class still hunting my s
@@AziwrathGaming well, yeah. I had one freighter since I started playing and today I figured I really like the pirate ones so I went hunting. I tried the usual, like 5 jumps for a fight, but no dreadnaught, then I tried pirate systems, pretty much just normal fights. So then I went looking for high conflict systems and after 5 jumps I ran into one. So my conclusion would be the pirate fights work pretty much as they did, but if you spawn in lvl3 conflict area pirates come with a dreadnaught. I'm on PC if it makes any sense.
@@scorpius666999 @AziwrathGaming If you are a new player, you need to watch my updated video on the requirements needed to get to the level of obtaining a pirate dreadnought. If you already passed those requirements and are not seeing any ships. Reset the game. Has happened to me a couple of times and a reset does the trick.
@@AziwrathGaming yeah you're right, resetting the game helps. I had an issue where I was seeing no conflicts at all regardless of the jumps, took me like 15 tries before I decided to reset and start over.
I need to try this later, cause for the past few days ive been trying to get one and theres been so much miss information online so ive been reloading saves for hours for nothing 😂😂😂
Youknow it does not have to be a pirate system for it to spawn, ive never been to a pirate system in my current save and i encountered 3 of them in a system with level 3 conflict
Pirate Dreadnoughts have a higher chance of spawning in Pirate systems. I agree they can be found in normal systems. If you look closely at one of my videos you can see me jumping into my home system and encountering a Pirate Dreadnought. I keep warping and warping between a lot of pirate controlled systems. I've warped over 20 times the last hour between several different. It doesn't spawn. I had the space setting set on normal, upped it to hostile, no luck. Have they patched something? Am I doing anything wrong? Am I in system too populated where it may have spawned already? :/ I'm back at the "normal" save after the Omega expidition, but I'm moving around the planets where it was.
i was currently looking for this and accidentally find out that, once i met a pirate dreadnought and "taming" it, i could just jumped to a random system and went back to the system where i met the pirate dreadnought and it got resetted
I tested the loop method in a livestream, link is in the description, and that didn’t work so well. After 1-2 freighter events, there is a small percentage for a third freighter to come up, but that isn’t reliable. 3 pirate systems spawns a new pirate Frieghter every-time with a 10-20 min wait time in between.
Took all day (off and on) but got the S class Korvax pirate freighter I wanted doing something similar. The auto save method kept kicking me the same C class with the same name, so that's when I started jumping system to system. First S class to appear was a Korvax. Perfect. Aesthetically these ships are huge and I haven't taken the time yet to see if I can walk about on the outside. Has anyone been attacked by pirates yet while your freighter was close by? I was wondering if the big guns kick in but I have doubts since they're designed to attack other freighters.
This is literally the longest way to do it. Jumping from system to system takes too long, taking out the guns takes too long, talking to the captain TAKES TOO LONG. Also it doesnt need to be a pirate system, I got my S class today in a non pirate dissonent system. Just stop at a space station, get out of your ship to save, jump til you get a freighter, take out engines, then the SHIELDS, land, scan, if its not an S reload back to the previous systems space station and do it again. It's exactly like hunting freighters used to be.
@@AziwrathGaming I figured out my issue. I hadn't gotten a freighter yet previously so the event couldn't proc no matter what until I bought a freighter real quick.
Haven't had any issues getting one to spawn, however it never gives me the option to board even after knocking out warp drives, shields, fuel rods, and weapons leaving the dreadnought at 2% health

I'm in a 3 star wealthy Vykeen system with a pirate battle, and I'm not far from a 3 star Gek Pirate system with a pirate battle. I just warp back and forth. took 20 minutes or so to get an S class.

I have 3 exotics and sold one already I’m gonna progress and binge: my favorite thing to do is mute nms audio and listen to long videos on RU-vid.
I tried this with no real results. I warped for MANY hours (considering the 20 minute pause between) and sometimes didn't even encounter a Dreadnaught in pirate systems. Every time I did, there were all C-Class. Not sure what's up but that's my results. Matter of fact, I have tried a few different strategies and have yet to see anything above a C-Class. This is going on 3 days of attempts, so I don't think this strategy works either.

I have seen and conquered MANY dreadnoughts but they have all been C-class. I'm now trying a different stategy, from a different RU-vidr. I'll see if it yields any better results.
So I'm flying pirate to pirate area and not a single dreadnought. Seems like this is incorrect. And a little more detail on where the cannons are would be nice.
I have a video explaining how to take down a Dreadnought Ship that will tell you where the cannons are, and the video that appeared toward the end of this video is a test livestream showing how the method was formed. I will link both and pin them in the comments of this video.
Dude. Take out the engines. Fly in the channel take out the shield generator but wait for the exposed fuel rod to come up. Destroy that on both sides of the freighter gives up 2 min tops when loading the auto save in system.
@AziwrathGaming I just made a quick video where I defeat the freighter in under two min including the warp time. How can I send it to show you a really fast method.
@@onlybeliver I stopped using auto - save. I found it to be unreliable and wanted to continuously play without reloading the game so much. I love the fact that I am guaranteed 1-2 vessels per run as the wait time is 10 mins at the least. You saw me take out the engines first right? Then the cannons from the rear , immediate defeat, no need for trench run. Check out the video links up top for the livestream test to see how the method was formed.
Okay ill try it this way ive tryed to do thr load save thing and it just dissapears makeing me have to go find another one and i never oncr got any thing from them causr i just left insted of talking to thr captin 😭 also im having issues still finding one ive went to mulitple pirate systems in a row and it aint poping up im not sure why i already have a fraighter as well
@@AziwrathGaming I have been getting them to spawn but only like once in a blue moon I did a few things on a planet then did the 3 to 4 warps on pirate systems and one showed up I did what u did then went to another pirate system got the second one then waited 25 mins just to be sure and now nothing I've been to 10 diffrent pirate systems since that 20 mins so idk what I've done wrong 🤣🤣🤣
Did you already own a freighter and rescue another? If no then You should watch the requirements video I made. If yes, try the troubleshooting video I made.
@@AziwrathGaming No don't own a freighter, had one battle which I then declined, normally I would just leave. Yes, watched the video and no, still doesn't work for me and yes followed steps in troubleshoot guide, more than five jumps later nothing and have been playing the game for over 3 hours. I had one battle mission today which I just didn't participate in as I was doing something else. My game seems to be sticking to the 3 hours play time before spawning. Not saying your method doesn't work, am saying that it isn't working for me for whatever reason.
@@telV7 if you don’t own a Freighter and haven’t rescued a second, then you won’t be able to get the pirate Freighter. Accept both battles and you should be ready to get the pirate Freighter. Check out the Ultimate guide video and follow it.
i am jumping now for 5 hours from pirate system to pirate system after a long time more then 3 hrs playing without seeing a pirate frighter i got nothing i dont get it
I think my games glitched somehow. None of the Pirate freighters ever surrender for me, I end up having to blew them up. I have even followed these guides. The Pirate frigates always just keep shooting missiles & eventually blow up the civilian freighter on my game.
@@kevinerbs2778 If you'r on PC, shut the game down and launch it. On console, close the game and launch it. If these do not fix the issue, put in a ticket.
I personally did find that going through a black hole will pretty much always take you to a pirate frieghter, pirate system or not, which would be useful for farming units
Unfortunately you can’t. Before you cash out, make sure to put all tech modules and materials in the kiosk before you end the expedition. This includes Frieghter and ship modules.

I did have that I been going through all pirate system and still can't find it.. and I think I did saw it when I play it for the first time last year but I ignore it cuz I'm still new to the game that time and I just get back to the game where I'm left off.. so Idk much what happened 😭
@@kamisaminato9115 So no you did meet the requriements lol. I have a video on it that will explain it better, but here is the rundown. Obtain a normal freighter, do 1 - 2 freighter rescues, after that you can claim a Pirate freighter. Video is Titled How to Troubleshoot The Pirate Freighter.

Tested that, it never worked for me. Check out the Hunting Freighters video to see the whole test. A few people were able to get it to work on their end.

This video is not accurate at all. I have tested it, and pirate systems with dreadnoughts will always spawn them upon going there, and their class is fixed. Systems spawning a class S freighter will ALWAYS spawn an S-class Freighter. This is also useful when farming freighter mods.
@@AziwrathGaming pc , and yeah after the 15 jump im finally got one to spawn, i think dev serectly patch it up to only have a small percentage of spawning now, 3 syst jump is not working anymore
I disagree. You have a mobile base, you can have any Exocraft of your choosing with you at all times. Combat frigates aid you in a space battles, mobile farm, mobile trading, mass storage. Can’t go wrong. But if you only want to fly 1 ship and build bases everywhere you go then who am I to say anything? Lol

Farm, build, make money, store up to 12 ships, travel the universe with it, send your crew in Frigates to get you new and tradeable items. Yeah you can't be in an epic space battle like Star Citizen or Elite Dangerous with it, but it is still fun.
You're joking, its arguably one of the most useful things to have. A mobile base that serves as a ridiculously large storage, AND can summon any of your exocraft as needed? That's pretty handy in my book.
