In 2010 my wife and I were out celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary when we got a call that our then 15 year old son broke his neck snowboarding. He was told he would never walk again. My wife and I faced a crossroad, go down in flames or get our son walking again. So for 6 months I took care of our 2 girls, school, dance classes, pta etc while my wife stayed at the rehab center with our son. Fast forward 1 year, and he walked in our front door. Fast forward to now, he is married and just had a beautiful baby girl.

39 years old and I'm currently under the rock at rock bottom. In 2020 I lost my business and marriage. I moved to Florida to try and reset. Spent 2 years there and lost myself. Im now back in Texas living with my mom with no job, no car, but my son knows I'm here and I can see him again....that should be enough to pull me up, but surprisingly enough its not. I have no purpose, no means, and my fight or flight mentality is crushing me

Thank you, B!!!! Lost 40lbs unintentionally, in 3 months from a "life ambush" and had to get desperately pissed off at my lack of ability to eat, focus or stand up without the room going white and having to sit back down, powerless to realize that I had to force myself to eat no matter how fucking sick I felt, to get strong and level again. I was running out of weight to lose and passing out cold randomly. The stress is still here, but I'm so conscious of my mind/body connection and protecting that first or I'm useless as a mom and human or dead and hell to the no. That ain't Katy.. Love you, Bedros. Thank you always!!

Hey Bro, I hit rock bottom a year ago. My rock bottom was depression from my relation , fear of loosing my children, one injury after another, bad decisions family who wants to dictate your life , live in place where you grow up, I felt like I did not achieve anything in my life, no support from my wife, this is all after coming back to my original country after living overseas for 20 years. I found out that I do not belong there any more. I forced myself to go to gym every day rebuild by body, walk again. I packed my staff and family and moved back to Australia, knowing that I will not see my parents for a long time. I just want my life back and rise my kids my way, not under uder people dictator ship. Love your show!!

I've just recently started listening to you. I feel like this video was meant for me. I spent almost 20 years drinking every day. The past two years I've gotten sober. That being said I lost my family home and direction. My goal now is be the best I can be. I eat right exercise daily set goals and most importantly try to eliminate all the bad in my life and bring out the good. I was listening to a lot of ancient Roman philosophy videos and podcasts. They all led me to you Bedros. Thanks for the great videos and they mean a lot to me. I have to listen to inspirational stuff everyday to keep me going. I get my kids Thursday through Sunday and I struggle the days I don't have them. Videos like these are my backbone they are my strength to be better. 💯

53 days clean from my kryptonite. In the midst of my comeback story. My son's mom said she doesn't love me we broke up end of last year I had a really rough patch for a few weeks. Got all the shame and guilt and self loathing out of the way.. now I'm on go mode! Went back to college to become a certified welder, Gym 5-6 days a week usually twice a day. Picking myself up, rewriting the story 💙💪 DON'T quit on yourself endure the pain.

Hope IS what's "destroying" you. When you "hope" you rarely to never get what you're hoping for and disappointed. Stop hoping... it's passive and fantastical by nature. When you give up hope, you're never disappointed and sometimes pleasantly surprised. STOP HOPING!!!

B, after a month and a half out of Jiu Jitsu, I finally got back on the mat today. Full disclosure, I lost my job last August, and fell into a pit of alcohol-enabled despair. I lost my will to train at the thing I love the most. I listened to this episode and decided to start again doing the things that build me (Jiu Jitsu). Now I need to stop doing the things that destroy me - alcohol and cigarettes. I’m a work in progress, but your words have inspired me…

Neded this. This last year has been a roller coaster. Job performance plummeting, son being diagnosed with health issues, debt from rising costs, working 2 full time jobs to pay bills and continue the day to day with my 4 kids and wife. On top of my own mental health and weight issues. Started taking small steps. No. 1 get back to square one and get in the gym regularly, helped tremdously. Started eating better, more present as a father and husband working towards killing those bad habits and continue on an upward trajectory. This is the ear food i needed to continue. Many thanks

My husband abandoned our children and I for drugs over two years ago. Our youngest son was 2 years old. Living with him was a mind f*@!. He's diagnosed narcissistic & bipolarschitzophrenic. We moved out of state so he could go to school to run his own business,(which would bena family business), and I don't know anyone here. I can't even drive because I have seizures. I almost died birthing our youngest, and my iron has been low since. With that & the levels of cortisol from stress, my organs are suffering. I don't drink or use anything. I don't even smoke cigarettes. I've always been fit. I just feel like everything ends up f*@!ed for me. But I've made some serious life changes, and I should be back to myself soon. Thank you for the inspiration to stay on this new path. You are very strong.

Losing my dream car last year was my breaking point. Been working my job and making money from things I was passionate about. My brother got in big debt and I helped him out. I had to drop my passion. We stuck by each other through the dark times and we're both building back up. We had to go and see therapists to vent everything out and come up with a plan to get out of rock bottom. Like our dear mother said to us during our rock bottom...the only way is up! Before I discovered you I was going through an eating and energy drink addiction. I work a stressful job that is poorly run by management and I pissed away the extra money I made on vices. I am happy to say that we both are doing so much better now and I have quit all the vices. I am building up my current car so I can get the model of my dream car back...but even better. Thank you so much for getting me to wake up and giving me the advice on rebuilding my life! :)

I'm not an addict anymore but after getting divorced and spending a lot of time alone i got used to being alone. Now I'm in a relationship and a stay at home dad but I feel like I'm wasting away. Don't get me wrong I love my wife and kids with all my heart. I don't feel like my old self anymore but at the same time I don't know who I've become. I constantly sacrifice everything about myself to be there for my family. I feel selfish doing anything for myself

I came across the BKS a few months back when I began my journey of self improvement. It has now become an incremental part of my morning routine to get me geared up for the day after my workout at 6am. Thank you for the motivation Bedros.

Just the video I needed. 4 months of being on the shelf from a hernia. Finally had surgery earlier this month and the Dr. just gave me the green light 🚦 to get after it 💪

I’m pregnant and I feel like my life is over. My husband lives in Egypt and I live in Hawaii. He probably won’t be able to come to the US for at least a year or so. I already feel like a failure because I can’t be a stay at home mom like I wanted. I have to find a new job, find someone to rent out my condo, and move to Texas all within a few months (my family is in Texas and I need support now). I feel like a loser for putting myself in this situation. But I gotta pull myself up and figure it out. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Really appreciate your honesty and going in depth about the story of your car and having to sell at a loss and put yourself in debt. Currently in a very similar situation with my business as it slowed down heavily. Stayed on top of keeping all my goals together as much as possible but it’s inspiring to know you have gone through such trails and tribulations also and you are where you are now💪💯
