Always awesome content on this channel Chris - you re clearly in love with the game as much as I am. What you are doing for your viewers is incredible, and as a hockey enthusiast I thank you! I am also starting my own line of hockey tutorial videos - would love it if you could check out some of the content I have thus far.

That is a shitty pass. No snap you are just shoveling which isn't accurate.

It really depends on your style of playing but I'd say iginla or a sakic. (if you like shooting and keeping the puck low, go for something without too much of a deep curve). perhaps try these. of course make sure you pick a stick with a square shaped blade, great for blocking shots, fishing pucks of the boards for a D man etc.

I've always preferred a stick at this sort of length. its what I'm comfortable with. When the stick is placed on the ice standing straight up, it should roughly reach between the top of your mouth and your nose for an ideal length (while in skates) as you might be able to notice at the start of the video. Thanks for watching and also leaving your feedback.

Not at all, I've trained with people that are 35+ and just starting out. I started skating and play hockey past the age of 16. You have plenty of time to get good if you practice and stay focused. Not everyone gets a chance to start young. I hope it goes well for you, please let me know if you need help with anything. I hope you subscribe for notifications on new videos. feel free to use my website forum for tips and general chatting with the other hockey players and skaters.

Thats what I'm using right now. Great stick, light as anything, low kick point for good shooting accuracy, one piece and feels great to stick handle with. They have a really thin shaft which sits great in your hands.

Is this the same for roller hockey because I live in Texas where ponds never freeze but I'm gonna start playing roller hockey once my skates come in the male

i think your stick is too long. your upper hand locked on the waist, it can make passing become more difficult.
