Description : A sensory diet includes activities that are done to optimize child's attention, arousal and adaptive responses. Prorioceptive Sensory diet is included in this video. Proprioception in simpler ways is "body awareness". Proprioceptive activities involve providing intensive input to the muscles and joints. A child can also stimulate the proprioceptive sense by engaging in activities that push joints together like pushing something heavy or pull joints apart like hanging from monkey bars.
