I do a lot of new build work and it's very depressing to see another empty plot. Cold and lonely and talking to myself about cills or SILLS I get confused. It's the fumeses they confuse me.

I prefer to apply 2 thin coats and rub down with a fine glass paper between coats and clean with a tack rag

Hi there good to see you still like using enamel paint I think its far better than water base it gives you a better finish .

Great thing is u aint gota sweep up cos you can just sand it all into the rad :-))

Hi mate.. Need to paint all the door frames, skirting board and stairs. they are raw ... what is the best undercoat and top coat paint to use? have kids also

If it's already glossed, can I just give it a sand and the give it a quick gloss over,?

Being from America is so funny hearing you call something undercoating here we call it prime, something has been primed, you call it undercoated, that is what we call the treatment you do to your vehicles undercarriage to prevent rust, also you always say glossing, anytime you're doing trim work you say glossing, in America we just call it cutting in trim because it is not always gloss paint. Also you still use oil with those ridiculous little nubby brushes, to each their own and that is how it is done in your country clearly, in America only time we use oil is when necessary bare wood and certain things that oil is just much better for. Regular interior painting walls and trim though we almost never use oil

The thing not to do is keep rubbing your oily hands over it prior to gloss, use a slight damp cloth or tacky rag to remove dust residue.

Never seen a window cill painted like that befor proberly faster with small rad roller
