A fascinating video. As much as I love super yacht walkthroughs, I am finding your insights into operating a small boat even more interesting. Obviously, willingness, time and costs are a consideration but I’d really enjoy seeing you and your ‘officer on the bridge’ taking Smugglers blues 2 on longer trips. That 'Ghost Ship' was probably at anchor because it wasn't allowed within our three mile limit since the owners had spelled 'VALOUR' wrong!

I can imagine the next video... "Welcome to the full Aquaholic tour of the Carnival Valor cruise ship, we're going to see the accommodation, galley, crew areas, the engines, the lot! Ooh look, full standing head room in the engine room!" 😂

I was worked at sea for 12 years in cruise ships.now I like to come back for sea life after 6 years at land.the reason is your videos of nice yacht. Keep going 😉🇪🇬

American spelling of Valour like harbour no ‘u’. Nick if you guys get that excited over dolphins then not sure if you ever encountered Humpbacks or Killer Whales while out on an afternoon tour. Might be an epic reaction lol. Maryann is like the Sterling Moss of water-crafts, hang on Nick for the ride. I love the fact on water the UK drives on the RH side (I guess international rules) but the LH side on land. You & the Mrs really show what boating is all about when you live near the sea. Carnival Valor. 110,000 ton Conquest class cruise ship. I've sailed on two of her sisters (Carnival Freedom and Carnival Glory) and had wonderful times on them.

Don't think you're going to get your wheel back. Someone seems to have a real taste for it. Lovely vid.

Absolutely love these vids. My missus and I are fortunate enough to live in Hervey Bay Australia and we get dolphins , turtles and other marine life all year round plus humpback whale season which you have to see to believe. We go out on charter boats 2 or 3 times a month and while it's great we always think it would be better to have our own boat so we can spend as much time on the water as we can plus do the occasional overnighter. So we have decided to get a boat next year. Watching all your vids keeps us really motivated.. Especially liked the one on costings as we will be mooring our boat. Only live 5 mins from our marina. Won't be the greatest or biggest boat but just being on the water is all we are after. We find it the most relaxing thing to do. Keep up the great work. Cheers from Australia.

I had a dolphin swim right under my paddleboard one time. Probably about a foot under me. I could have reached out and touched him if I wanted but I didnt want to spook him or anything. First I just saw the dorsal and had a bit of a panic but once I realized it was a dolphin it was amazing

Spent many holidays on Oddicombe Beach, hiring a beach hut, sadly all gone now as it’s a little unsafe now, the cliff is eroding away. Would love to buy a little sports cruiser. Great video Nick.

It's so nice to start the day with an Aquaholic video, such beautiful surroundings, from some of the best of the UK coastline. I am still being sheilded roll in 1st July, I hope it won't be extended. Reading Cornwall councils notices regarding holidays there this year does not bode well. I can't get to Italy, can't get to France abfmd now can't even get to our place in Cornwall, not happy at all!! So please keep on doing your stuff, I love the walks that you do and the on the water missions! You are indeed very lucky! That big cruise ship looks absolutely horrible, I love big M/Y and S/Y but this monstrosity, Yuch! Been on one and swore In would never ever go on one again. That cruise ship was in Southampton at the weekend. They come into Southampton to get fuel and supplies then moor off Weymouth I believe to discharge grey water and take on water for making into fresh. Never seen Southampton so full of cruise ships. P&O, Cunard, Carnival, Tui, Fred Olsen, Saga to name a few company’s

A pal of mine used to crew for one of the two super yachts owned by that cruise liners family who have one SY base in Miami. The owner also owns a basketball team! But I bet you two had more fun in one sunny day on Smugglers than a billionaire on his yacht, sat on his own watching basketball on a big tv. Cheers

Great new vids, and there's one item I'd like to point out. You didn't explain the need to switch on the engine bay blower fan prior to startup. Glad you both had a great day out on the water!
