@@SheenShots hey on worries bro I'm here for the great content I do love that u take the time to reply and thank u for that hope things r going great for you today
Very nice build as always. I just want to add someting minor. Runic trap + Detonation with Runic prefix does 140 ethereal damage. Light mender lexicon is 5% over that, wich is 7 ethereal damage. Now the same 2 spells are doing 70 decay damage and the regular enchanted lexicon ads extra 10% wich is ,again, 7 damage. So using the light menders lexicon will give the same bonus damage but as ethereal wich is better and has an extra -5% mana cost. Not a game breaker, but i'd still use the light mender one.
Hey just wanted to say thanks for the videos you do. I have been playing this game for a long time and happy to see you make these and just wanted to say thanks. It’s nice I have used versions of your builds to make my own that love. Merc/Hex/cabal. Love your new video this is always my favorite armor for looks and wondered a good build to use it. Anyways best wishes and future success. PS thanks for making the city building that was one part of the game I always ignored until recently :)
Curious you decided to boost the decay damage when the ethereal damage is more than double. You could always boost both types with Tenebrous set or Antique Plate w Spirit of Harmattan, though I do like that you took it in a different direction. Jade Lich set would make me really want to jam Shriek and Blood Turret.
I might try this, I wanted to delete a alt and ended up deleting my first and main account I was building Sirocco in :(

YES SPAM RUINC TRAPS UNTIL EVERYTHING DIES! 5:10 Yeah back then Runic Traps doesn't scales with any of damage boost, it damage terribly falls in the late game. But now it fukin strong and too easy to spam without any brain cells :D Another note is you can use Tenebrous Set instead of Jade Lich, it boosts 20% Ethereal and 25% Decay damage, -30% mana cost and doesn't have any negative defend stats. Tenebrous will increase your Runic Trap damage and also your Great Runic Blade (infuse poison) from the Runic Prefix passive skill.
Ya finding out the trap got the damage buffs was a little crazy. Its too easy to use and with the huge damage boost now. Definitely makes it a lot better in Caldera because it used to be really bad there.
I'm honestly amazed by the amount of buildcrafting you can do with this game tbh. Even if you're limited to just three skill trees, you still have the potential of making crazy combinations. Atm running a chakram/rune build using just runic blade and ornate/frozen chakram in full candle plate, tanky as hell.
perfect timing with this video! i just beat the plague doctor for the first time last night and im trying to finalize my mage build. thanks for helping make this wonderful game more approachable
Rupture and the blood sigil you need to pick between, but cleanse and Lockwells you can get both of. Maybe you were out of money at the time? That would be my best guess.
Love these build videos! I didn't even know the game had soo many way to play it. Any chance on a money making guide in Outward? Every time I see a guide or a good way make money, the method gets patched. Thank you for the videos and keep up the great work!
I don't know if you have seen it yet or not, but I have a video on how I make money which I will link here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T0zEeWmFvig.html
I'm currently playing with hex mage, kazite spellblade and cabal hermit using the same set but with the jade lich staff and preservation backpack for aesthetics(will get virgin lantern with decay enchantment too for max fashion points). For faction I chose blue chamber so I can get the blood infusion so I don't have to use dark varnish. Basically what I do is I summon a ghost and a blood turret, run around spamming hexes/torment and massive decay projectiles with elemental discharge and mana push. My around - 100 resistance to lighting is slightly concerning but that said I did beat the gold lich easily with just buffs and a single blood turret. Build isn't finished either and it's still great. I especially love how I don't need to care one bit about falling into the water in the swamp or getting surrounded by illuminator horrors. Even when my staff is broken I can still deal decent melee damage due to the overstacked decay(not that I need it, because with the manacost reduction and 3 points in mana I can keep buffing and fighting for a long time before needing any potions. I will of course enchant my armor with aegis and the staff with inheritance of the past for more regen. I also want to get the scepter of the cruel priest as a secondary weapon just to try it out, I think it will be insane, and if not I definitely want to try out shriek as well.
Magic is probably the most enticing aspect I would say. Combining spells to create explosions and interesting effects is super cool. On the other hand the melee combat can be much more rewarding if you learn how it really works. I mean skycrown and a shield is incredibly good in almost every case.
Yes you can do that as well. Fire sigil is nice to have early on, but if you aren't going to use it, you might as well get reveal soul early. Conjure on the other hand is a tier 3 skill so you can only get that from Cabal Hermit. Reveal soul is the optional free one and conjure is a more advanced skill.
My favorite build for coop: infuse blood on Vigilante sword enchanted with contagion, and smoke pistol with blood bullet, throw down fire and blood sigil for fire circle and blood turret, technique to apply extreme poison and bleeding and plague, shoot with blood bullet to apply blaze. Watch everything die including your allies 🤣
Don't forget the Mist boon too will bump the trap damage a little more Edit: didn't occur to me earlier but you can boost your decay damage by another 10% if you swap out the jade lich robes for Antique plate garb with the spirit of Harmattan enchant you'd gain a little more decay and 5% CDR plus some protection but you'd lose a little mana cost reduction
Pretty much what I've done on my most recent file except I went for +Ethereal over +Decay. Probably less overall dmg (I don't really bother to look up values) but it's a bit more balanced against the lightning bros.
i tried a build with this armor set i did worldedge greataxe and brigand backpack skills i did monk hex forgot the 3rd i think runic or war but i liked it was my 1st decay build i liked how the armor looked to
Very odd builds are my specialty! It really is because it seems like boosting ethereal would be better, but the mana cost on this armor is much better and it really fits the mad doctor theme.
