@@chrisgagnon5768preaching repentance as Jesus himself did is not trusting in himself....its trusting in Christ and obeying him by following what he told us to do.
Dude don no joke, I was just getting tempted today and fell in the sin again and I was getting a sudden wave of fear and within seconds of when I was questioning everything your vid is recommended that’s crazy. I’ve been struggling with doubt recently but god is still giving me these signs to take my doubts away. Praise the lord Jesus.
You don't need signs my brother. I used to fear aswell but that was because 1. I did not truly understand what Jesus Christ did for me in the cross. 2. I didn't know the truth of salvation. Bro if you believe that Jesus died for your sins, was buried and rose again, you will be saved(1 Cor 15:1-4) See when he died for us, it was not just out of selflessness no but also hec he was the only worthy sacrifice. We are imperfect and no unclean thing can be a sacrifice nor can enter therein. Jesus is the only way to heaven not your works, meaning, no matter how good you are- you won't, meaning, no matter how many bad things you continue to do, you won't be held back from going to heaven because the only way you go to heaven is if you believe. Is avoiding sin the only way you go to heaven or is trusting Jesus, believing, He died for you, believing He died & rose? Ask yourself that question today.
@@shavainsahid9811 Yep, it's ridiculous. I hope some here are actually saved people who just fell into false teachings, otherwise it won't be pretty come Judgement Day.
“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:11-15 KJV “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:17-20, 26 KJV “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
You cant lose your assurance. Once you have the holy spirit you are sealed unto judgment day. When you sin you grieve the holy spirit and you are corrected in that moment. Trust me you dont feel good about it. Once saved always sealed brother.
No man we need to get out of our sins. Yes we grieve God and we can repent but if we continually sin and sin all the way until the day of redemption then we will not make it to heaven. The word even says if we continue to sin after hearing the truth there remains no more sacrifice
I'll have to disagree - The bible clearly states " So what shall we keep sinning so grace my increase .. " , " .. no sacrifice for sins remains" etc , Indeed Jesus died to cover our penalty butttt he also died to set us FREE from our willful sin . I find it IMPOSSIBLE for you to have the fear of God in you and still fathom making a practice of willful sin , Its equivalent to spitting on the cross . I agree with everything you said but once saved always saved is honestly a mentality our brothers and sisters use to be comfortable in their sin, Jesus tells us FEW will enter through the narrow gate . If once saved always saved then MANY will enter through the narrow gate which we know is false based on the gospels . "Many will come to me saying Lord lord..... I will tell them i never knew you , those who practice inequity " . No we cannot work our way to heaven , no there is no amount of good ole boy or girl will make us worthy of being saved . It's a beautiful gift that we can never earn , but like a Good Father gifts will be taken when your out of line . Christ wants us and COMMANDS us to turn from our willful sin and "sin no more." Love and God bless.
The first thing we need to understand is that the book of Hebrews was written to the Hebrews, or Jewish people (which included believers as well as nonbelievers). Hebrews 10:26, in particular, is addressing Jewish nonbelievers who had heard preaching on Jesus being their Messiah, but who were still going back to the temple to offer animal sacrifices. This was an insult to the Spirit of grace, because they were flatly rejecting the Lord Jesus, Who in His great grace had offered Himself as the perfect and final sacrifice for their sins at Calvary. In addressing these people, the apostle Paul (I believe that he is the writer of the book of Hebrews) compares the imperfect priesthood of the law and its repeated temple sacrifices with the perfect priesthood and once-for-all sacrifice of Christ.
Please read all the bible verses i posted in this video , all bible verses says you have everlasting life by faith, not of law works , all you have to do is believe his sacrfice payed for all sins , past future present,

I can't boast about how Long of a streak ive made it on or how well i pray, or how many demons ive gotten rid of im saved by Jesus and only Jesus.
Something I realized is that the most people only focus on the born again aspect of entering the kingdom of God but don't mention the rest like "Being converted and being like little children" -Matthew 18v3, that's why I feel you should encourage people to read the Word more than explaining it. Jesus did say we are not to live by bread alone but also by the Word Of God
I think Don has mixed up justification (believing the gospel 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and sanctification (working out salvation with fear and trembling). The ONLY WAY anyone is saved is belief in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Matthew 7:21-23, these people were counting on their own good works or righteousness to get into heaven. But Jesus says depart from me, I never knew you. Why? Because they didn’t do the will of the Father which is to believe in Christ (John 6:40) Remember, our righteousness are like filthy rags to the Lord (Isaiah 64:6). Remember everyone put your faith in Jesus Christ alone. We have to study to show ourselves approved unto God to rightly divide the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15) so everyone please read the word for yourselves and ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom and understanding. I love you all, put your faith in Christ and God Bless ✝️🙏🏾
Faith is rooted within trust and obedience. The way we carry ourselves during the time upon the earth is evidence of our faithfulness. For our sanctification is Gods will which is only done by faith working in love through Christ .
The Lord is really working through you. This video made me cry real tears, and it feels like after watching this video i have truly asked for forgiveness for the first time since “coming back” to Christianity. May God bless you Don, your work touches many. May you be blessed in the name of the Lord and of Christ, amen ❤

This is insane, going through the comments and seeing so many people believe this heresy. Sin is transgression of the law (1 John 3:4-6) Repenting of Sin is to follow the law, literally affirming you broke the law and changing your mind to follow the law. And in no way will we ever be saved by the law. (Romans 3:20) People wake up, you can know you have salvation by believing what the Bible says, that it is faith alone in the finished work of Jesus Christ. (1 Cor 15:1-4) Don’t wake up in Hell believing in your own self righteousness of repenting of your sins. Don’t fall for another subtle lie from the enemy, believe God not Man. Eternal life is eternal not temporary until you sin again. You aren’t saved by repenting of sins, and neither can you lose your salvation by not repenting of your sins and even more so repenting of sins can’t “maintain” your salvation. I hope someone will heed this warning.⛔️
It’s sad. Doctrines of demons. This is arguably the most dangerous false teaching that mankind can follow. It’s so close, yet so far, and very deceptive
Repentance isn't of the law? What? Jesus told His apostles to go and preach Repentance for the remission of sins in His name. If you don't repent, you will likewise perish. It is a REQUIREMENT. God COMMANDS US TO REPENT. I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Luke 13:3 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Luke 24:47 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Acts 17:30 If you don't obey this, then you don't really BELIEVE in Christ and have faith do you? If faith is belief, and you don't believe in all the words that Christ said then you have no faith.
From 2015 the Jamaican who’s experiences helped me through highschool to this as I felt conviction in your videos since 2018-19 so I stopped watching but loved to see you doing good on IG. The year I turn to god is the year I see this and it is beautiful. Super proud of you!
Brother Don, this is a false gospel. Nobody can ever fully turn from sin. Trust in the finished work on the cross for salvation. Stop trusting in yourself, a broken sinner.
You are right, no one can perfectly live a life without sin, if that were the case then Jesus wouldn’t be Jesus, Man sent to earth to live the perfect life and die for the atonement of our sins. But because of what Jesus did on the cross we now have the grace to repent of our sins and be forgiven and cleansed for our unrighteousness. Therefore repent DAILY for the sins you commit knowingly and unknowingly, because you never know when your time will come and that’s what the enemy hopes for! Hope this gives some perspective, God bless🙏🏽
I actually agree with you, We will fall into sin and make mistakes, thats for sure, but its not the same as living in habitual sin. Remember, There's alot of people who say they believe in Jesus, yet literally never speak to Him through prayer, ever, doesn't even attend church nor has any desire to even read or understand the bible. They have no idea who Jesus is,they just know of Him.They live their lives as if He doesn't exist. For instance,Getting drunk every weekend and ending up in bed with different women regularly ,and then actually boasting about it by others .Look around us all over the world, people want to be their own God,and they create a false version of our biblical Jesus in their minds. Jesus said that one day,He will tell some of those who called Him Lord, to depart from Him, because He never knew them, and those were the ones who continually practiced lawlessness.i know we're not saved by works, its only through grace, but our lives reflect His light, even when we fall short and sin,He will comform our lives to the image of Christ. I hope i made a valid point, chers buddy

@@youngdonreborn first of I don’t claim to know all and have all truth. But it is my belief that there are so many verses saying that death = sleep. “Thoughts perish” and “the dead know nothing”. To be absent from the body and to be / is to be present with the Lord in my view means, that when we die our spirit returns to the one who gave it - our heavenly father. When our body is resurrected that spirit is transformed into new glorified bodies. Further, we have no awareness of time when we are dead. So when we die it will be as no time has passed before hearing the voice of Jesus and being resurrected. One last thing is Logic IMO. What purpose would the resurrection have, if we already are in heaven with God?
@@JKV84 The dead knowing nothing refers to the dead body that goes back to the ground. The spirit knows things though. The spirit of the prophet Samuel remembered King Saul when he used a soothsayer to conjour him up... the Rich Man in hell in Luke 16 remembered his brothers on Earth, remembered and saw Lazarus and Abraham, and even knew about Repentance when he rejected it on Earth, so YES, our spirits become aware of everything when absent from the body.

I’m just curious, because we as Christians are to do good works but they in no way contribute toward our salvation, but are evidence. But here’s the kicker… Jesus said “those who love me will keep my commandments” he did not say “keep my commandments and you will love me” Our heart posture is key, and Christ knows who his sheep are wether it’s clearly evident to us or not. Not to say we should walk in the way of sin, what I’m saying is not to beat yourself self up completely every time you do sin. I’m not saying forgive yourself either, I’m saying Jesus already paid for your sins and you are forgiven (if you believe in him alone for salvation and hope in this life and the next) and to get off your but and start walking again, you’re never to far gone. And when we fall we don’t lose our salvation, it’s all covered by Grace through the Cross, all sin past present, future, all forgiven by the Blood of the crucified and resurrected Lamb Jesus, the Son of God. If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins 1John 1:9. 1John 1:6: whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did. 1John 1:8: if we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us

I don't think you realize that 1 John is not written to test whether you are saved or not, but whether believers are walking in fellowship with God or not. Otherwise, 1 John 2:29 & 1 John 3:9 would contradict what Romans 4:5 says: "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness". Also if Galatians 5:19-21 is referring to salvation, then Paul wouldn't inherit the kingdom because in Romans 7:19, it said he practiced sin: 'For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do." Speaking of Paul, in Philippians 2:12, he's not saying to work for your own salvation, otherwise this would contradict Matthew 7:21-23. Paul is writing to people who were already saints, Philippians 1:1 "Paul and Timothy, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the SAINTS in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:" Finally, the word repent means to change your mind, not turn from sin. That's like saying believing in the gospel means to read the whole bible.

Excellent presentation. Even while many debate whether or not salvation can be forfeited, it is certain that a person can lose their assurance of salvation. The problem is that many preachers tell Christians who have lost their assurance of salvation not to worry. You got it right. If you’ve enjoyed the assurance of salvation and lost it, you need to turn from your sins and reaffirm your belief in Jesus as the Christ and the Son of God (which you rightly define as the ultimate Ruler and Master of your life, cf. Ps. 2). Praise the Lord!
So in other words jesus didnt die for my sins and I have to work ( repent from ALL my sins) for salvation? How is the salvation then a free gift when I have to work so hard, thats impossible for a human, only jesus had an sinless life remember that. Romans 10 9 is a beginning in our walk in faith in christ the Holy Spirit in the word of God will Guide us on how to live for christ . We have to be born again and be baptized . John 3:3 3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.[a]” John 3:5 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 1 Peter 3:21 21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also-not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God.[a] It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
Jesus christ death was for our sins and a way for us Gentiles to enter heaven that's how much God loves us but as its also a gift you can Reject a gift as in Jesus will not force you to follow him we have Free will to choose . And if we are to sin that's why we have a advocate Jesus christ if we come to him with a repented heart and turn from our sin when we ask for forgiveness. 1 John 2:1 2 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father-Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. Jesus would say GO AND SIN NO MORE and John says so you sin no more but if you do to Repent and turn from your sin as the word of God Says He who use to steal , steal no more . That's why many are called and few are chosen and who will really follow Jesus and follow the word of God as they wanna still live in sin and live as they want and never repent and turn from sin
@@RichardHulk Exactly true. Moreover, the condemnation falls in the same way unto all men for the refusal to turn to the Light. [John 3:18-22] 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. 22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized. If you are coming into the Light, it is because you are accepting to to have your deeds reproved before God. If you reject the Light, you do so because you do not want to have your deeds corrected. You love the darkness more than you do the light because the light exposes you. People would rather hear it from the mouth of people preaching doctrine of devils then opening their KJB and letting the word of truth tell them what the gospel is 1 Corinthians 15:1-6... & if Repent meant turning from sin, wouldn't that make God a sinner? Repent is always a change of mind that leads a person to acknowledge the truth of Gods words, either by hearing Gods word and believing it or by someone explaining Gods words and the person believing it and in the New Testament it's no wonder that it's associated with the Gospel. Meaning change your mind from whatever you believed was the truth of getting saved and believe the gospel..... All this is for is for all those self-righteous people who hate the blood atoning sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ and the power it has to purify all sin.
this video is definitely a works based gospel which is wrong salvation is through faith in God’s gift in Christ alone but we should not be practicing sin and abusing God’s grace because we are saved though we will fall to sin but we should always repent and get back up with Christ if righteousness could be gained through the law Christ died for nothing (galatians 2:21)
exactly and saying you still have to stop sinning to be saved is not trusting in Jesus and that he died for your sins... if he died for your sins then why do you have to stop sinning when that isnt even possible...
@@BoyMonty You are saved by faith but the more you are in the Word the more the Lord will reveal things to you, renew your mind and the desires of your heart and you will naturally want to live more righteously, more like Him. It's the sanctification process. Being washed clean by the Lord is a journey and it looks different for everybody since we are all different but all imperfect :) You are not saved because you stop sinning but you will want to stop sinning because you are saved and as you draw closer to Him :p God is good 🕊
@@taetow7915 you really need to stop... by doing this you are leading people to hell... you are doing work for the devil when you think it's for God. you dont understand how to be saved and what the bible says, and you are being deceived... you cant even understand what the bible means when it says you are washed and sanctified... it means our spirit is born of God once we put or faith in Jesus so that God no longer sees us as unrighteous even though our fleshly works are disgusting rags... you literally dont even have to read a word from the bible to understand what you're saying doesn't make any sense... "you are not saved because you stop sinning but you will want to stop sinning because you're saved" so you say works arent what saves us, but then say we arent saved if we dont do works... that is called backloading works my friend! don is an obvious false prophet and its genuinely sad that there's people like you supporting him. his pastor literally said hes demon possessed...
Works salvationism is satanic, repenting is works. You cannot lose your salvation. You are born again and have everlasting life the moment you believe in Jesus.
Everlasting Life is in Jesus, not in yourself. You don't have it, you will receive it upon his return. An inheritance unto those sanctified through faith in him . If you had it already, then there would be no unprofitable servant, no unforgiving debtor, no foolish virgin, no undressed wedding guest, no sleeping watchman, no cut off branch and no dried up root. The works of God are for the labourers of his vineyard, those called to do his will, producing the fruit thereof. "But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and UNDERSTANDS it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” If you are not the seed in good soil, the profitable servant, the forgiving debtor, the wise virgin, the dressed wedding guest, the faithful watchman, the pruned branch and the tree bearing good fruit, you will be hewn down, and cast into fire and outer darkness.
@@HeavensMystery Matthew 7:23 sOn that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name? ' 23 And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness. ' Jesus Christ will say this to those who are relying on works.
@@shavainsahid9811 You understand what a worker of Lawlessness is? He's not condemning them for their Good Works, he's condemning them for their hypocrisy. The entire chapter is about hypocrisy; Matthew 7:1-6 Is about not judging another in matters you yourself are guilty of without first reconciling your own errors before helping them remove theirs, yet only if they are willing to learn what is right. Matthew 7:6-12 Is about asking God and receiving from him what is Good, just as we give what is good to those we love despite being evil, God will do greater for his children who ask him, because he is good. Matthew 7:12 starts the context within which your verses are given; "12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the LAW and the prophets." How can Jesus therefore be condemning those in the verses you quoted that are upholding this very same Law? That is after all what he is asking us to do, isn't it? To Love God and love our neighbor as we love ourself? That is the whole of the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 13-15 clarifies even further that this is, in addition to everything he has preached up until this point in the sermon on the mount is, what the narrow gate that leads to life is, doing the things that please God. Matthew 16 -21 is therefore a warning for us of those who are false prophets. Those who would pretend to speak for god, while externally may have the appearance of holiness, internally are anything but. Jesus gives us a way by which we can identify these deceivers by virtue of the fruit they produce. Hypocrisy is ultimately, what gives them away. "21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." As will also be the case for those believers who likewise fail to do the will of the father. Many will do the mighty works they ask of the father to do, he will not deny the wicked what is good as he has already established beforehand (even the pharisees could cast out demons), yet because they are internally not right with God, they too will suffer the faith of a great fall. If we can spot the internal hypocrisy of the false prophet by virtue of their iniquity before men, how much more will God see our internal hypocrisy by virtue of our iniquity before him? Matthew 7:24-27 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

This is definitely a false teaching if I’ve ever heard one. Basically a works based gospel at this point. Repentance is important but just because we are saved doesn’t mean we never sin again as this false teacher implies. Only one person has ever been without sin and that was Jesus when He lived the life we couldn’t. I beg you all to read Romans chapters 1-8 because this false teacher has either completely ignore it to fit his works based gospel or has never read it.
The goal of Christianity isn't to be perfect. The goal is to strive to be more like our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It's not work based salvation because we don't decide if we go to heaven or not. It's only God the Father that knows who he will allow to enter his kingdom.
No one's claiming to be without sin, we're are urging you to STOP wilfully sinning. And Romans perfectly aligns with what is preached Rom 1:18 "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against ALL ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth IN unrighteousness" Go re-read the entire book. How did you miss Romans 1:29-32, 2:8-11, 6:15-19? Romans 8:13-15 For if you live according to the flesh you WILL DIE; but if by the Spirit you pit to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, THESE are the sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."
Pretty heretical. We who are saved still sin. Romans teaches us this and Paul still sinned after being saved. You don’t lose salvation yet you danced over that with “you lose the evidence that you are saved” you don’t lose salvation. Repent means to change your mind you do this when you believe in Christ. You also left out the fact we when are SAVED “past tense “ we become new creatures in Christ and Jesus says “I will lose not one that God has given to me”
Right he thinks he’s slick doesn’t want to outright say you can lose salvation even tho that is what he is greatly implying. The only person that it matters that knows we are saved is God. We should stop sins because we love the Lord but we will never be sinless. we don’t have to prove anything to anyone else. God sees the heart. This guy is making people trust in their works I know I’m saved because I am leaning on nothing but the blood of Jesus
