I have 30 subscribers. The video I posted took me 10 hours to make. It got 40 views. It was worth it. Im don't want to be a famous RU-vidr. I want to make content that I care about and share it with others. That's why those 10 hours were worth it. Thanks for the advise Roberto

I started creating content in September to help people improve their English, being a language learner myself, I had an idea how to create content in a different way to the usual stuff on RU-vid. This week I went over 200 subs. So happy with that!! That means that 200 people at least have improved their English because of my videos!😊😊😊 Thanks for the video man !!
I agree 100% with the not comparing yourself to "Big RU-vidrs". Once it stopped doing that I enjoyed everything so much more!! Now I'm so excited/grateful about my 75 subscribers. And because of that I've seen a HUGE difference within my videos. If anyones doubtful just keep your eye on the prize!!
Cool video, is hard not to get discouraged when you work so hard on your videos and then the views are kind of low, but this video inspires me to keep going! Thanks man
Rubrick yea I definitely feel you I work 40 to 50 hours a week as a boss an still put out content daily or try too an got low subs. Never once promoted my channel anywhere or click baited. I appreciate an try help people who put in effort an u don't even got to be fancy about it. Plan on getting bigger an making this something special

Now, RU-vid requires 10,000 views before you can monetize. It took me about 5 months to hit that. I actually think that is a good idea. Makes you work harder and smarter. Thanks for your tips.
On my 65th birthday, I decided to start working our RU-vid channel. That was in August and I'm really enjoying it. I'm watching a lot of these videos and my manager is learning so fast. The videos are still a bit rough and we got our first unlike, behind us. I just had to get over my 'grandma waddle' and decide that I have a valuable message to provide. I feel like a lot of people (including myself) expect growing a RU-vid channel to be easy, especially since every day most of us watch 'big subscribers' videos and I think we're kinda used to seeing the big numbers. I was really discouraged a few months ago when my channel wasn't growing as fast as I had expected. So just a little advice to anyone that stumbles upon this comment; try to have low expectations. xD Idk, this might not work for everyone, but It's how I get through it whenever working really long on a video, which ends up getting less views than I would hope.

Never did a collab. I usually post 1 video each 45 days, Channel growth 7.000 to 170.000 in 30 days! Do what u love and sooner or later it will exploode. Thanks for the tips o/
I just hit 1k subscribers! Using your videos the past couple months gave me so much info. I definitely have you to thank to helping me get from being stuck at a couple hundred to 1000 so quickly.
Thats exactly what I had been thinking. I remember I was stuck on 41 subscribers for about 2 years... but then the more content I made and the more active in the community I was, it slowly went up. As you progress, the faster you grow. For example, it took years for me to hit 100. Then, I hit 200 which still took about half a year. Then I hit 300 which was a little faster, then 500 which was even faster, and so on. So the more subs you have, the faster you grow apperently lol. So I recommend keeping at it. (Roberto has some other vids on why youtubers often fail that I watched and helped me)
I have a small channel and after posting lots of stuff, I really want to give up YT since I'm not going anywhere. This gained my confidence though and it made me want to keep posting and making others and myself happy!
Bro wdym? you're getting hundreds of views homie! that's not small haha keep posting your Fortnite stuff when YOU want to, don't make it feel like a job, just have fun with it. I'm barely getting any views but I'm posting videos whenever I want/have the time. Just do it for you then if it takes off just run with it
I feel like I accomplished something with just 20 subs. Remember, RU-vid is only worth it if you Don't feel as if it's a job instead of a fun hobby. It CAN be a job, but if it doesn't feel right, changing your content or taking a break is a good idea.
Watched a video previously about learning about analytics. That you for repeating about thinking about how many people 20-100viewers are. Made me feel a lot better knowing that actually that many people have watched my videos.

I only have 309 subscribers, but I have a ton of fun posting videos mainly because my major is in broadcasting so I love anything having to do with filming.
#6 was a great perspective of looking at views. I do still get butterflies from speaking in front of 20 people. These are great tips. I appreciate your content 👌🏾
I was feeling a bit down after a talk with my husband and where my channel is heading. I typed in “How to grow your channel” and came across your video. It’s something I’m working out up to this day. I’m using my iphone 5s at the moment and still on the process of making much better content than my previous ones. Thank you for the advice ... One thing I’d say to keep your youtube channel cool ... Keep being “You” :)

#9 is EXACTLY on point. The Big Guys can tag their own names where the smaller creator has to be more thoughtful and deliberate. What they’re doing now is not what allowed them to grow and the conditions they did it in have now changed. The concept is what to learn and then try to spot the current method that allows growth.

I’ve been vlogging for about 2 years & I’ve seen people overtake me in subs who I don’t think are as good as me. It used bother me but then I realised it’s because I don’t make videos for the people that watch my genre. Now I make videos for me & im loving it.
I have a theoretical physics degree and I'm literally questioning my intellect when I watch this guys videos... sweet jesus the logical arguments presented here are so well packaged, extremely sound and straight to the point.
Right now I have 20 subscribers but I’m confident about my content and the way I make my videos. So whatever type of video you make, as long as you’re proud of what you’ve done, YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY :) keep working hard :)

I want to thank you. I'm a autism mom that started my channel with the idea to help other families lower cost on items we use for our autism kiddos and share what we do at home hoping to help. I saw others that started at same time fly by me and I was discouraged. I like how simple, plain and to tree point you are. So much info thrown our way its easy to get confused.

I just started RU-vid 2 months ago, and something that doesn't really get's sed in al of those videos is what grew my channel the most (in my own opinion). And that something is: do something that not Many people do, it sounds simple right? But think About it, you start out wich means you havent got the quality videos that people have from experience. So for example, you Could do cs:go videos but there are already thousends of people making those and They are probably of better quality. But you Could also do videos of smaller (less known/popular) games and get (in comparasing) a lot more vieuws. After a while when you have grown a steady base of people watching you can still slowly switch to Csgo but just to make your channel grow iTS probably better to do videos About something that is less competitive. For example, on my other channel (where i post my videos) i make videos About my pet button quail. Of course i Could just do pet videos but there is already a lot of people doing that. And now i get About 50 vieuws each day and i stand on top of the Search for button quail, just behind a video that has 50000 vieuws (i have About 200/video) even with the crappy quality of my sound and video. So that just shows that it is important...
I like number 7. Not to compare your channel to the biggest channels and think of each view as a unique person. Good advice. Makes me want to focus more on good content.
Roberto Blake when you talked about subscriber count and view numbers. Seems like I do some videos and get 3k+ views and some get only a few hundred. I would like to be able to get more interaction (comments) on my videos

One day I will Hire away young talent from academia to launch education channels and online courses that will directly compete with their old campus jobs and they will make 10x and teach 1000x more people... that's the real goal of Create Awesome Media as a company.
