Great video, thank you for sharing! I like how you don’t use any fungicide and still have awesome results. Will try the microwave method next time I sow seeds, I had a huge damping-off/mold/fungus issue last time I sowed seeds. Only the real troopers survived! Trying this for echeveria seeds too!
Been enjoying your videos Dave! I've had success growing cacti from seed but I think I've also fallen into every pitfall possible so I'm always looking at what other people do and their approach. I don't sterilize soil with the microwave lately - I use physan 20 which has been a bit of a cheat code. Kind of nasty stuff but I hate microwaving soil. Hopeful you'll post an update video since you've done it before!
Thx for the tip. Usually do it outside because of the dust but was filming! Lmao. Didn’t know the toxic part just thought it would get all over the place.
