A very popular herb with bright, citrusy flavor. An elegant way to add cilantro flavor to dishes, compared to using the standard, full-size chopped leaves. Widely used in Mexican, Asian, and fusion cuisine and a nice flavor component in fish and seafood dishes.

I Recommend using a slightly Thicker Holed Colander , Add Coir and Tap sides of Colander, In 10 seconds you can make the perfect Cover of soil on top 😉

So... the weight is the key to removing the hulls? I finally got split seeds to germinate after 3 tries and now I have hulls stuck on every cotyledon. So how do I remove them now?

hi Princeton, wouldn't you adjust the pH level of the water as well? obviously you get fine results as it is, but still it could be an improvement. have you tried? also i'm playing 432Hz nature sounds in the grow room. 17 hours daytime and 7 hours of nighttime sounds. remember life is all about frequencies and vibrations. thanks for your video's!

Hi, we love your video and information. We are just starting growing micro greens, we're newbies! We do have a few questions. Does the water need fertilizer for the everyday watering, or just in the beginning? Also, can we use sifted soil instead of buying the coir? If we don't buy the coir, can we eat the hulls as more fiber to eat? Thank you for your help! Signed, The Newbies!

I love flatleaf parsley, and to lesser degree cilantro ... but unless youre growing them outdoors they take waaaaaaaay too long, and tie up rack space better used on stuff with a far faster turnover and maybe multiple harvests (i.e., wheat grass, pea shoots, etc). Parsley dries fabulously well, and is more practical to just buy.
@lorenaroma
@lorenaroma Год назад
It looks to me like on his rack because if his low side trays he has space to stack these and it indeed appears he did stack the trays to the left where he placed his weighted/covered tray on the shelf but in any case to each his own I almost never use parsley and could literally use Cilantro many times a day in fact I'd put it in almost everything I eat including my kimchee! So I'd toss the parsley outside to fend for itself! Lol no offense.
@RovingPunster
@RovingPunster Год назад
@@lorenaroma Not to belabor a somewhat subjective point point, but i personally find flatleaf parsley to be a more versatile herb than cilantro because it adds a more neutral bitterness that blends well with a broader array of dishes, whereas cilantro has a more distinctive note - one that a statistically significant percentage of the public tends to find less pleasing because of a very specific gene that determines how their taste buds percieve it. I forget the actual number, but i think it's at least 1 person in 4 who flat out hate the stuff (and no, im not one of them). Also, parsley is like 5x as nutritionally dense, is far less perishable when fresh, and maintains its taste & color far longer then cilantro when dried. Personally, i like cilantro mostly for its stems and seeds (coriander), and less so the leaves. I tend to use it in conjunction with parsley, not instead of it. Anyway, im not really arguing ... just sharing. Cheers.

Hi, question please. If I want to grow only Cilantro microgreen, during their germination period till day 10th and while their seeds are buried and covered, do I need to maintain the room temperature and humidity in this period or doesn't matter? because they are already buried and covered. I am asking this question just to find out if I can save some electricity bill during the first 10 days of their germination. Thanks.
