Happy to see actual results instead of a person cutting a Dracaena plant into pieces, sticking them in potting soil and briefly describing what might happen in a couple of weeks.
It is one of the easiest to propagate.. If you leave the cuttings in a glass of water.. Changing the water every few days.. The roots will come out quickly.. They will start rooting after less than a month..
Вы - гений!!! При таком варварском обращении - иметь такую красоту!!! Без всяких заморочек.Просто и красиво. Спасибо!!! Было жалко когда отрезали росточек...
JUSTO ACABO DE TRANSPLANTAR MI DRACAENA, Y VIENDO EL VÍDEO ME DOY CUENTA DE QUE LO HE ECHO MAL, ASÍ QUE VOY A DEVOLVER LA VIDA A MI PLANTA. GRACIAS POR ESTE PEDAZO DE VÍDEO 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
1). Can Humus soil be created at home,if yes than how? And if not, what is best substitute of it? 2). Sir,u haven't tell about placement of cutting too. Did u put it under shade as u put them on your desk?
Thank you for the video💚mine has a super thick trunk approx 4-5 and the shoots grow in sections surrounding the top...however they dont have the "bark" substance where you cut ..its greenish white...will this process work for me still? I know it's the same plant but i dont know the variety.
Oh my goodness 😳 I will keep an eye out cause I just comment the same thing my trucks are so think and the spikes or leaves if you will are almost as long as the tree it's self . And my tree is seven years old but is only 2ft tall but never branched off or got any taller.
Hi very nice content. How did you grow those multiple stems on top? Is there a timing on doing this? And how is the watering during this time when it is bare stem only? Thank you so much in advance!
When you cut the top of the plant(which you can repot) it will encourage the plant to grow. You'll notice side shoots starting to grow after about 3 weeks
Hello! I've just found 3 sprouts from a stump (a cordyline indivisa which was cut down a couple of years ago)... can I cut and grow them like this? Thanks!!!
I've literally cut ours in half because it was too large for us to take when we moved and it grew to 2ft tall within a year and has babies coming out the soil. Fascinating and hardy plants. We HACKED it in half and it was fine. Lol Eta we don't use anything special on it either. Water and regular indoor potting soil. Nothing fancy. No ferts.
I love it! Thank you. I left mine out too long on a cold day. (Remodeling my apt) They were once bushy an beautiful but now, all sad an leafless. I will try this. But I'm thinking maybe propergate in water. Not sure which way to go. I mean, they're in bad shape ☹
@@johan_r59 I restarted mine in water and 2 cuttings made it. They're almost ready to be put in soil. The one I left in the pot, I was surprised! I was gonna change soil and throw away the stalk I left in there. Thinking it would die. Life got in the way, next thing I know I see a green dot! New growth was happening! But I think propergating in water works best for me.
@johan_r59 I put mine back in dirt. It's still struggling. I've moved since an there is no good light in the house. My bedroom is the only room with food light BUT it's so small I can only fit small ones. I'm getting a plant light in hopes it'll help my plants.
5 years in the same pot... Change the substrate. Maybe the one that died did not have enough space? Did you water them to much or too little? These plants actually don't need much of care.
Joshua Knoebel I’ve propagated many varieties of dracaenas in water but not with this variety (draceana marginata)I’m not sure if this specific variety can be propagated hydroponically.
