Also, with hard neck garlic, our favorite way to use the scapes is to salt brine ferment them and then put on sandwiches or in salads or such. Even my kids LOVE them that way!
I have to try using the organic garlic from the store this year! Question do you have to let it dry out some or can you literally just buy it from the grocery store and pop it in the ground? Also Do you usually water yours in or no?
Buy it from the store and pop it in the ground - no drying period. Also… hah, yes I water whenever the garden gets watered (it’s on a drip). I totally forgot to mention that!!
