“It took years”📝 some people just watch those miracle routine videos hoping their hair will grow in 3 days when the most important thing for your hair is to be healthy

Thank you, lovely young lady!! Everyone is different. My hair would not grow for over 50 years of my life. With a combination of nutrition AND certain oils Now it’s growing down my back from using essential oils on my scalp, mixed with castor and other carrier oils. AND certain organic oils and creams on the strands. My hair is now growing down my back in my late 60’s. I was a hard case because my hair never grew as a child, so I didn’t think I had the genetic “signature”, if you will, for growth of hair. I’m not saying anything to dispute. I want to encourage black women to not give up on your crowning glory! 👑👑👑…and yes, water 💦 water 💧 water💦 ❤️🙏🏽🥰

African Pride works perfectly for me. Especially the leave-in cream. It softens my hair and makes my high porosity 4C Coily hair rich black and moisturised. I use Aloe vera juice too. My hair loves it! And I have my own blend of oil which has helped my hair become thicker and I grew an inch while in braids and massaging every day. To grow Your hair takes a lot of work and dedication but it works!

Personally, the Cantu leave-in conditioner (the shea butter formula) is the only leave-in conditioner that my 4c hair LOVES!!! And I've tried soooo many leave-in conditioners in my 4-5 year hair growth journey. It's crazy how products work differently on everyone's hair. But I would say, if you have the time and money, see what products work for you. Cantu wasn't for your hair but for some people like me, it works perfectly.

Oils do work for hair growth, the only problem is that a lot of you are using sealing oils instead of moisturizing oils not knowing or understanding the difference between sealing oils and moisturizing oils or how to use them correctly which is where the misconception of oils don't grow hair come from.

My hair growth was stagnant for almost two years which is abnormal for me. I was also stressed out like crazy. I think it was the constant manipulation and hair products that caused my breakage. So, hopefully my new hair journey will be less stressful. Any hair color tips?

My sisters, try Keratase hair line. I stopped shedding, my hair is soft after each deep conditioner and the products do what the company says. It is a high end L’Oréal brand. If you are trying to be cheap, try Mizani. Mizani is also owed by L’Oréal and has same ingredients or similar to Keratase. If you don’t like Mizani, try L’Oréal professional brand. Same formula as Kerastase at a fraction of the price. Please stop using Walmart or beauty supply products if you want good results and hair growth.

I ran across your vid and channel for the 1st time today cus with RU-vids algorithm will pop up vids that I may like and I watch alot of hair vids and about 50% of them are 4c hair type...I don't have 4c hair but just supper naturally currly, I forget the number of it lol, but alot of the 4c tequniqies and even some of the products work perfectly on my hair type and I absolutely love using natural stuff and making my own treatments and masks for my hair. And you are so right girl, summer time if it's humid or raining I won't straighten my hair bc as soon as I walk outside it rebells and goes back to curtly with in minutes like it's angry that I tried to make it sleight lol. I do do a deep conditioning treatment every time I wash and that helps alot too, I started doing this about 2 yrs ago and I only wash it bout once a week sometimes it'll be 2 times just depends what I'm doin day to day(I have a horse so ever time I go to the barn I end up having to wash sooner than ide like even if I have it up cus of all the dust and dirt n stuff) other wise I pretty much stick to once a week! I do put an argan oil in my hair almost everyday too and that helps with breakage alot too! I'm so glad I found your channel you have a forever subscriber!! I think sometimes we get frustrated with styling our hair because we’re trying to manipulated into something it’s not and that will naturally be more difficult. Braid out, twist out, rod sets. They are all manipulative hair styles. Once I learned to love my hair the way it grows out my scalp it was a game changer. Yes it was one of the more difficult things I’ve done with my hair but it was worth it. I moisturize my hair and that’s it. No “styling” needed.

Hi, I am struggling to grow my hair, sometimes I think I am doing too much, or too little. But something crossed my mind after watching this video, to make a long story short, do you think my age has something to do with my hair not growing? I'm 44 years old
@vennettegloud3128

There’s still hope. My hair did not start growing until I was in my mid 50’s. Before that, my hair barely grew more than 6 inches. And that was the longest part. Now, thanks to a few RU-vid creators, it’s growing down my back. I have had some setback, but mostly because of stress and the c19 thing. But now it’s thriving again. Peppermint essential oil has been proven in studies to be twice as power as minoxidil. Just mix it with your favorite carrier oil.

I use oils that i infused and my hair is growing thick and long, my hair love oil. I also wash my hair every 4-5 days because I live in a very hot climate and I sweat in my hair. I also deep conditioner often and drink lot of water. You need to know what work for your hair.

You, like most of the population, don’t actually need to take biotin bc it’s in most foods. I would say focus on iron, zinc, and magnesium supplements because those play a larger role in hair health and it’s more likely you’re deficient in one or all of the three.

Some people watch and hope their hair will grow by thinking it. And never changing their routines, Some people start and then them give up. Our hair is not that hard to work with. It's a mentality it's internal health it's first spiritual health, then connection to our ancestors ✊🏿❤️. 🤔 Think on this 🤔🤔 It's a life style , you must live good health.!! CANTU ( HAS COCONUT OIL , don't use this alone if your hair doesn't like it )

Or oil ? I have 4C hair, so I don’t like to moisturize with water, it’ll shrink up and I keep it braided .
@J_mela

Grease is not a moisturizer but it seals moisture into your hair … if you don’t want your hair to shrink up 1) moisturize it 2) braid it into big twists 3) tie the hair like **Princess Jasmine -from Aladdin”** Few hours later take the hair tie off and the hair will be stretched

@r_n_c_4408 2 года назад
@@ShurielAnderson water helps 4c hair thrive, it’s going to shrink up regardless. That’s a sign of good hair health. 4c hair is tight and coily which means it’s breaks easier. You have to keep it moisturized and detangled. Water is your best friend. Creamy Leave in conditioners, grease, warm water if you have low porosity hair.
