In 2019 I had a loquat harvest in Germany on my planted since 2013. This year I briefly wrapped them with air cushion film over the winter and put in a floor heating cable. It looks like some fruits will stay on it, so that there can be a harvest in summer this year in August.

@Fairieswell

MalMik It probably will. Ours was only 3 feet tall when we moved into our new house and now it’s 10 feet. We’ve been enjoying its fruits for 3 years now. You’ll see fruits around March and they’re ready for harvest around April or May and this happens once a year only. HTH.

Thank you. Love Loquat, they are hardy and I live in London. They add a nice evergreen tropical like addition. Someone along my road has a lovely one that's canopy shaped which works well with the foliage style of it and I always admire it when I walk by. Would love to have an established one in my garden but I've salvaged some seeds from fruit that's dropped from their tree so I'm going to give it a go and get some babies growing for myself!💞

No. Loquat don' t grow true from sEeds like citrus, peaches.... Most likely they don't bear fruits Or have inedible fruits. You can still grow them from seeds, then buy some loquat cuttings and graft them on.

@eddydejagere3411

Not enough water in the soil when hot weather. Give water on warm days. Young plants can suffer from the sun on hot days, protect against the sun on warm days. Bigger trees still can need extra water but should be fine in the sun unless you live in hot area.The hotter the area the more water you should give on hot days.
