Fun to see tea growing in Chena Hot Springs. Seemingly sustainable and smaller carbon footprint (don’t have to fly it to Alaska) for Alaska’s tea drinkers. Must confess I drink black tea (masala chai) in winter but prefer to mellow out a bit more with green tea in the summer. Keep up the good work. Great video. Cheers from Bishkek Kyrgyzstan where I’m viewing while sipping Kara chai. From an ex Fairbanksan.
I love Sipping Streams! I’m from Fairbanks, and recently moved to Juneau. I’d be so sad if they didn’t have an online store. They have a lovely shop that is a good stop if you’re up in the interior
Thank you! We miss you too, but know that we will always be connected. Don’t forget to check out the locations of where are teas are sold in Juneau (Blk Moon Koven, Harbor Teas and Spice, Sealaska Institute, and soon Goldbelt Tram)
We were on winter break :) Thank you for thinking of us! This episode is our SEASON 11 PREMIERE EPISODE! Can you believe it?! So excited to keep the show going strong!
I hope this company all the best in the future. Unfortunately, no tea they currently have on the market is grown in Alaska. :(. Video doesn't directly say that any tea they sell is grown in Alaska, but it definitely feels implied. So, don't be fooled. Hopefully, soon this will change. I would love to buy this as an Alaskan grown product.
