Ratio will depend on ppm of neem oil being used. The pure neem oil used in the video has ppm less than 300. We have added 2.5 ml of neem oil to one liter of water.
After the seeds have germinated do we need to place it in a room with an air conditioner running 24/7? Or just watering it every 2-3 hours is enough? Also is it possible to grow wheatgrass hydrophoniclly without using soil in a hot weather condition?
@@ShashiNGautam can i place the entire tray at the refrigerator with 15c degree? When its already growing? I cant even make the seeds sprouts 🤣 havent bought the neem oil yet also. For the best soil type in hot weather do we use growing medium? Or coconut coir? I dont even had jake cloth to cover the tray
Fresh air is needed. Indirect sunlight is needed. Watch our another video on the channel where we have used soil as growing medium. You can buy pure organic neem oil from shashingautam.in/web-shop/neem-oil-for-plant-online-india
I am growing wheat sprouts not wheatgrass so neem oil will give bitter taste to sprouts and i am getting white and black fungus so can you suggest better solution for my problem???
Where there is humidity and heat, the fungus will grow on it. Keep your sprouts in cool and airy place. Try to have the right amount of moisture. Enough to keep germination process going on but not too much to encourage fungus growth. You can keep the sprouts in the refrigerator for 1 hour every few hours to keep it cool too.
Yes, you can spray neem oil mix with water. Be careful to use chemical free neem oil. We have pure cold press neem oil on our online shop addywheatgrass.com/ocart/
Add hydrogen peroxide 3% in soaking water and in irrigation water. Add 15 ml to 200 ml and spray on your sprouts. Use only food grade Hydrogen Peroxide.
Definitely it will have some effect. Grinding the Neem leaves on stone grinder and then adding warm water should extract the goodness of Neem leaves. Alternatively you can buy pure Neem oil from us which is easy to use, time saving and proven effective it will cost just Rs80 and we do free shipping for order above Rs100.
+maxwel lopes no soil. We have used Growing medium that's come with our wheatgrass growing kit. We have used 1500 ppm neem oil and used 5 ml per Liter. You should dilute as per label on neem oil
Thanks Suzanne. We took the challenge of growing wheatgrass in summer in home conditions and in the process we learned few tricks which we have documented and shared with you tubers.
If rot has been set in than you can not stop smell and fruit fly will follow soon. You can attack problem by using neem oil spray on growing medium and on tray till day 4. Maintain the temperature at least below 30 degrees Celsius. And most important never let water stay in the tray else rot will set in. This is how we took care of rot, smell, and molds while growing wheatgrass in hot summer condition during making of this video.
thanks for telling me this I will let my friend know and we will try again this few days. have to throw that one which fruit flies love.... thank you soo mich!!!
Did you notice that we germinated Wheatgrass Seeds in fridge? There is every possibility of rot setting in due to soaking and high temperature and germination in fridge takes care of that. Best of luck for your next tray of wheatgrass.
