Hello fam! Back at it again. Transplanting some of my hedges to the other side of the property. This video shows you how I grew my hedges using leaves, 666 and 10 10 10 and lots and lots of water. You want to transplant your trees when there is an overcast or rain to protect your trees. Today was perfect it rained and gave me enough time to move them. Thanks for sharing for watching. God bless #101010 #666 #sweetviburnum #miraclegro #gardenlife #transplaning #sfg @miraclegro

Yep. Sweet V definitely fit the rhyme, first year sleep, second year creep, third year leap. I planted in 2007, they are 20+ feet. I planted again in 2017, they are 7’ tall. Loved the video. Great filmography!

@Miklo Velka I forgot, but...take how wide they grow and I subtracted a foot. So if they grow 6 feet wide, I planted 5' apart. That way and maturity, they overlap about a foot.

Evergreen hedges are definitely way to go for true privacy. I have privets that are not evergreen & leaves fall off every Fall. Now I’m forced to get a fence to block my neighbors. Yes very expensive. Hope you can provide an update on the poor side after irrigation.

Awesome video. If you or anyone could advise. 6 months ago I planted 250 feet of 4' tall sweet viburnum. I installed a drip irrigation and wonder if you could guess how many gallons of water per day they would need? Is it ok to water every day? Thanks,
@SupremeFamilyGarden
@SupremeFamilyGarden Год назад
I actually used drip irrigation for the first year and they grew through the roof. But you must fertilize more frequently to prevent yellowing. Use an inexpensive 10/10/10

Which is better sweet viburnum or viburnum pragense shrub for fast growth . I need to block out my noisy neighbors crazy kids views at least the playsets and patio made into a basket ball court with tall net very unsightly . I need to block that and a window of theirs looking into our yard no privacy at all. I need height fast and I heard pragense is fast growing I am in zone 5b.

How far apart did you plant them? I want a privacy screen, but don't want it to look like a formal hedge. I prefer the softer look like yours.

I'm in u.k.so we don't have to irrigate! I'm looking at "coppertop" we have only one supplier here as they are new. Was wondering if this is more prolific plant grows taller than the new introduction.

Is it climbing up that fence or just in front of it? Will it grow that high with nothing there to support it?
@haljasonfoster2169

On our food forest we went with a poor mans hedge with Mexican Sunflowers because they grow fast, propagate easily, are nitrogen fixing and are chop and drop for mulch. They don't look as nice as your hedges though!
