What a joke, Go to any shopping mall and you will find mum's screaming shouting, aggressively pulling children, swearing at them, threatening them. This is one of the things I noticed when I move to England years ago. The same children I hear, swearing back and screaming, while mum drags the kid along the floor or jerks the poor child. Yet I cannot recall a man doing the same, except one ocassion when a father pulled his grown daughter out a pub while while punching and kicking him because she was trying to remove her clothes because she was so drunk.... I've also lived all over the UK working restaurant hotel hospitality industry, and the amount of times I witnessed woman screaming at there partners scratching them and throwing things at them, let me tell you it's maximum 10 to 1 when a man even responds with equal aggression. Woman they scream shout complainn, manipulate, use sex as a weapon. Falsely accuse go through your phone like it's nothing. All these things and more it's woman doing this 10 to 1, what I've seen is woman accusing men of what they have done to the men things that many woman do, and men hardly ever do. What planet does CAFCASS The SS and the Judges live on this is all very peculiar.....

@@michaelosullivan8708 Yes it is but Phillip is right never tell a person what they do or how they think, give evidence and shut your mouth. It's the same when dealing with many police officers you don't know which one has a chip on his shoulder so with all of them anyways say, yes officer no officer three bags full officer. Be very very respectful when you are dealing with over sensitive people. I was taught this as a teenager when I became a lifeguard be careful when saving a drowning man or he will drown the both of you. Or you are dealing with a mad or abused dog you have move gently and very slowly without fear to win them over. Ephesians 5:15. See then that ye walk (carefully) circumspectly not as fools but as wize, redeeming the time because the days are evil

Two wrongs don't make a right. We each have to take responsibility for our own actions, even if this means admitting that we have, on occasion, lost it. The ability to reflect on what happened is important - you have to be able to figure out what presses your buttons. If you never catch on, you become very easy to manipulate. Whereas if you DO know what triggers you, you have a chance to catch yourself and say "I'm not going to react to that how I would normally react."

@@tlangdon12 You are trying to justify yourself because you have lost it on ocassion like you said, But Submit yourself to God accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, Resist the devil and he will flee from you. The first fruit of a Born Again spirit that has submitted to God is self control. Give God a try He will work for you if you let Him.

Mr. Kedge. Good video. You can't beat the system. Agreed. Your current basis is focussed Mother taking the first mover advantage and claiming DV and taking the child away. Not many men, apply non mol and take the baby away, and take the first mover advantage. In that case, mother has to defend to get access to the child. It would be interesting to see a video on Cross Allegation of DV and how the Court and Cafcass approach this situation.Mr Kedge, can you do a video on this?

Thanks for the video. I wonder what the court and cafcass do when findings of domestic abuse are made against the mother and as usual she sees no problem with her behaviour?

I would hope that the same thing that Philip discusses in the video would happen to a mother with no insight, but I fear that there is still some bias in the minds of some people that means a different expectation is applied. I agree it would be interesting to hear Philips's view on it.

*UPDATE * Information correct as of August 2022. Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme Please note family court advisors can no longer recommend perpetrator programmes to court. The Ministry of Justice has decided to work towards replacing the existing DAPP with a new programme to better meet the needs of a wider range of families. Provision under the current contracts will end on 31 March 2023 and the time to complete the programme is typically nine months. Therefore referrals ceased on 30 June 2022. The Ministry of Justice is working with programme providers and the domestic abuse sector to develop interim arrangements ahead of the new programme being in place. For enquiries about DAPP, please contact the Ministry of Justice.

Assuming Mr and Mrs Groves are now permanently separated, how does attending a DA programme benefit their Children ?

It makes it more likely that Mr Groves won't treat any new partner the same way as he treated his wife, and his children will see that his previous behaviour was not normal, and the cycle will be broken. They will not learn from their father's behaviour, but rather will learn that it is possible to change and to improve.

Imo its a box ticking exercise as they send the wrong blokes on them. There is no womens course, and they keep no stats relating to effectiveness of the course etc. If you're unlucky enough to end up on one, treat it like your life is on the line and don't put a foot wrong. Obv as phil states it's best/possible to avoid before they even suggest it if you can

Had Mr Growers shown understanding of domestic abuse, would he have gotten direct contact with his children without going through the DA perpetrator program?

That's the point, less likely to have. But going the other way pretty much guarantees it.

I don't understand this. I thought if you adamantly deny you are an abuser that you don't get the course as you'd be deemed unsuitable? I also thought in certain situations a DAPP would be extremely beneficial and go greatly in you favour in cases of men with 'no contact? Isn't it the case that if Mr Groves attends the course and messes it up for himself, he'd basically be screwed as far as his children go and might not see them until they reach adulthood?

Yes, both points are valid, if you don't accept that you are an abuser, the Dapp course will not accept you. If the court finds that you are an abuser but you still don't accept it, that may have long-term implications and restrictions on contact.

So what about when cass caf do get it wong as I was accused of multiple accusations and when the fact finding came out I was telling the truth all along and the other party was aloud to not only accused me of none truth things but get away with it for example I was accused of drugs and said from the start no I don't take drugs I was then proven that I was telling the truth all along and yet I am now back in court a year later for the same allegations that have already been proven to be false yet could you explain to me why cass caf still side with the other parent when the allegations have already been proven to be false as I believe some of the cass caff advisers are instantly bi-est I did 4 drug test one of wich was a hair test and all of them came back that I was NOT under the influence so why is it if they are not supposed to side with one person over the other are they doing this as I asked for them to be tested and it was only me that got tested it gives me the impression that woman can weponis the courts and get away with it when there is no evidence to support there calmes
