If you are wanting to trim the card to 7.5" tall, you can use an A8 envelope. The mounting area for the invitation should be trimmed/folded to 7.5 x 5.375". The A8 envelope will be slightly long but will definitely fit.

Hi there! Would everything work the same with a 5x5 invitation with the height adjusted? Like the envelope would still work for a pocket?

Hi! Yes, it would work. You would also need to make sure your enclosure cards don't exceed 5" tall. Our typical RSVP cards are 3.5" x 5" and we have some directions cards that are 4 x 6". You would need to use a directions card that is also 3.5" x 5". Have fun with the project!

I'm assuming this would need to go into an envelope in order to mail it so nothing in the pocket slides out the top? I'm going to show this to my daughter to see if she would like to do this for her wedding. Thank you for an amazing video.

Yes! Pop the finished pocket into an outer envelope for mailing.

The envelope that becomes the "pocket" is a 4-bar envelope. This is the same size envelope that the RSVP card fits into (the RSVP car is 3.5x5"). You can view the written tutorial here which lists all the sizes: www.downloadandprint.com/blog/hack-an-envelope-into-a-pocket-invitation/
