Handstands are one of those poses that once you finally get it (even if it takes years) it is so rewarding and makes you feel so accomplished! Love this video.
This is one of the best yoga tutorials on the internet. The way you explain is soo precise and accurate which is not done by other teachers.Wrong moves are dangerous for the body. This tutorial helps us to avoid the tiny little dangers for the body. Thankyou so much.
This is super helpful! I've decided that 2020 is the year to learn how to do handstand. I've started yesterday, Hope I can show you my progress next month!
I’m impressed. In your video. I start gym. After I joined gym after 2 three days start pain in my arm, start pain in my Holam after I found on video and I start to follow your exercise after death my pain is gone. I’m relief Thank you so much for your making a video for us.
just disovered your videos, have started practicing the basic this week, hoping i am able to get that handstand without fearing smashing my face, head, neck... ;) thank you Briphny
Same I can hold like 10 seconds now mostly open splits but it’s a tedious process for most🥺 but we’re going to get it she helped me with my elbow stand
You helped me with my elbow stand now I’m back again to learn a handstand nobody else could teach me how to elbow stand except for you I’m not that comfortable yet I like to keep my legs open mostly versus closed I’m working on that and the handstand thank you so much
This is amazing! I have been teaching yoga for nearly 3 years, and have been on my handstand journey for nearly a year. All these tips are so incredibly helpful!
Omg. This is so incredibly helpful. Your precise and thorough descriptions really helped me correct my posture. This is my first time watching the video and already after the first 10 minutes my wrists were too exhausted to continue, so I’ll have to continue the rest tomorrow- but super excited to have this resource. Thank you!
Love the way you teach. Starting with the foundation. the basics. I will do this for several days this week before looking to go further. Thank you Briohny!
Do yourself a favor and follow Natalie Reckert's 30 day handstand course. You will get all simple explanations and a systematic set of exercises from a master handbalancer rather than thousands of useless words like here.
Very helpful!!! I was always afraid to do even the "L" against the wall, but with your explanations I felt confortable enough, so thank you very much! 😊
2022 goal however I can't even get both feet off the floor onto the wall which I think is because I really need to improve my shoulder and arm strength first! Will keep going..
Thank you again Briohny for such detailed information, I have challenged myself to do this daily for 30 days and see how I progress ! today I set my timer for 1 minute and held the pike position for 2 x 20 seconds, not much but it's a start ! and I did feel every one of my muscles engage and was so much more aware of my hand placement and arm and shoulder positions! I shall let you know how I get on xxx
i am so proud of you! i admire your consistency and your dedication, congratulations on this amazing accomplishment! i'm so glad to be a part of your yoga routine, keep me updated on your journey please!!
Thanks for a beautiful video...I'm trying it everyday... I observed that the place i need to flex more is my hamstrings as the legs don't open up straight against the wall.. each day I'm pushing it inches ahead to slowly get there.. cheers
You are a fantastic instructor and inspiration! Best handstand instructional series I've seen, so many instructors so little proper explanation of inversions. There is so much more to it than "kick up and balance, I heavily appreciate this video. Thank you!
So glad I found your videos. Amazing at teaching and I really felt it on my arms. Wow I kept falling off from the wall with my feet but I’m going to keep practising until I get this basic posture to a T! 😊🙏🏼
Hey Brioh! I love your videos. You make every pose so simple and easy and no mater how hard the pose, with your videos it becomes easy. Thanks! Can you please do tutorial videos on headstand as well? That'll be great! Thanks :)
I'm impressed. Really good beginners tutorial. Trying to learn the handstand for a while now and watched tons of videos. Not yet there, but I'm on my way.
I'm at 5:00. I gotta say that I am going to warm up a bit Before starting this video next time. So far tho the experience and awareness needed is really engaging and challenging and fun. It's like Making Legs out of Your Arms!!
Truly the best......amazing flow and articulate anatomical minute details and tips as you go. I even like how the inhalation and exhalation is pronounced and one knows how to do it.
Looking great. Your 90 degree position and form is so beautiful. I am enthralled to watch more than to do. But seriously, I'll do this soon. Learning to handstand.
I don't have the strength in my arms and shoulders to straighten my legs yet. So I'll just stick with my legs bent until I feel like I can straighten them.
You'll get there eventually. It also took me several years to build strength in the limbs and shoulder or even core muscles. This year I'm able to do tripod arm balances and head stand as turning 52 years old.
Hello! Great tutorial but does anyone have the same problem as me wherein my hands and feet are sweaty so i can really stay up there for a long time because my hands will slip, what should i do?
Excellent tutorial! Can you recommend or do a video on exercises that help develop the muscles needed to do a handstand and all other inversions, for example, the dolphin dip. I was told in my YTT that if I can do 15 dolphin dips I’m ready for the handstand. Any suggestions? Thank you from a new subscriber!
