Hope you are doing well mate! I came across a beautiful Plumb Tassie with a wonderful slim handle with the reninents of a "Champion Tool Handles" sticker. When I saw it was stamped on both sides I remembered your video explaining that was done pre WWII. I didn't need encouragement...I took it home.
Very Nice ! I have slowed down some of how I work when hanging a handle. I find I end up with a much better job. Watching your work , I see I need to be more patient in the process. I will look for one of those Shinto rasps. Looks like a very nice tool ! Thanks !

Very professional easy to follow video. Great to watch other people's processes. The red handle came out great and the information on the in Plumb stamps was quite interesting. Do you have a favorite handle wood?
@@axesofoz717 Thanks! I put that Hytest Craftsman 3 1/2 that we talked about on a Kruger spotted gum handle. Beautiful wood to work with but very dense. Also checked my Plumb and it's only got stamps on 1 side. Oh well...nice to have a better idea of the age. Take care.
@@brettbrown9814 I'd like to get one of those 3 1/2 pound Hytests one day. Not easy to find! All the Plumb tassies are amazing axes. I have a late 1960s Plumb that was a wedding present to my Dad which is one I will never part with.
