Also, someone schooled me to consider a separate fuel source, I always run my main and kicker off the same line; if you have contaminated fuel, now you have two dead engines--and if you are far offshore, that can be very bad. But the question I have is about weight--how do you calculate if the weight on the transom will imbalance the boat, be it up/down or port/starboard?
